Sarah Hyland opens up about health battle after 2nd kidney transplant
Sarah Hyland has gone through a tough health battle.
However, it looks as if the Modern Family actress is on the mend.
The 28-year-old had a kidney transplant and gave an update on her recovery.
Sarah previously opened up about the guilt she felt when her Dad gave her a kidney and it failed.
This led to the actress receiving a second kidney, but this time it was donated from her brother.
Thankfully, it looks as if the second operation was a success.
Sarah told Entertainment Tonight that she is "doing really, really well."
The actress was recently soaking up the Mexican sun and detailed the joy of being able to safely fly again.
“The good thing about being stable, health-wise, and having an amazing significant other is that now I’m able to travel more," she explained.
“The last time I took a vacation before this year I was 24," continued to say.
"I just turned 28, so I’ve just been either working on my health or working nonstop, so it’s really good to be able to do something like that now,” she added.
Bachelor star, Wells Adams, has been Sarah's beau for just over a year and they looked picture-perfect in their Mexican getaway.
We are delighted to hear that Sarah's recovery is going so well.
