Remember Seamus? The Irish Harry Potter star is being SUED

by

Ah, he was the Irish lad, Seamus Finnegan in Harry Potter who everyone knew and loved – But now, the HP star is being sued by his former agent.

Devon Murray is being sued for €286,000 by Neil Brooks of Neil Brooks Management, Cape Town, South Africa.

The Irish Times claims that Devon, as well as his parents, Michael and Fidelma Murray are being sued for breach of contract with the management company.

However, the family have made a counter claim looking for a return of around €98,000 which they claim was already paid to Neil.

In the documents, Neil says that he was hired to represent Devon in 1998 where it was agreed he was entitled to 12.5%of the actor's film and TV earnings, 15% from his TV ads as well as seven% from theatre work.

But in January 2003, Neil claims that the agreement was changed, so he would receive 15%of Devon's full earnings and 20% of all Harry Potter earnings.

Devon's parents say that the increase in payment was agreed in 2003, yet they negotiated Devon's pay for Harry Potter with Warner Bros. and that had nothing to do with Neil.
