Former rugby star Mike Tindall is now a proud dad-of-three after welcoming the birth of his third child, a bouncing baby boy last week.

Opening up about their new addition to the family on the most recent episode of his podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, Mike shared an adorable update on his and Zara’s new baby.

“It's been good actually, I can't complain,” the 42-year-old dad explained, adding, “He's pretty good the wee man, he loves his Umbro Lord's work stash, that we've already got him in but he, no, he's been great so far.”

Zara Tindall, the Queen’s eldest granddaughter, welcomed the birth of her third child on Sunday, March 21 at home, weighing 8lbs 4oz. The happy parents decided to give their tiny tot the beautiful moniker Lucas Philip Tindall.

Discussing Zara’s quick labour and delivery in last week’s episode of his podcast, Mike explained how he didn’t have time to get his wife to the hospital and that she ended up giving birth on their bathroom floor.

“Arrived very quickly. Didn't make it to hospital. On the bathroom floor. So yeah, it was running to the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get the mat on the floor, towels down, brace, brace, brace,” Mike recalled.

Describing the eventful birth, he added, “Fortunately the midwife who was going to meet us at the hospital wasn't that far away so she drove up just as we had assumed the posit (position) and the second midwife arrived just after the head had arrived”.

Zara and Mike are also the loving parents to their two eldest daughters, seven-year-old Mia and nearly three-year-old Lena.
