Is a reunion on the cards for this Hollywood couple?

Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have been split up for over a year, but new photos suggest there may still be some feelings there.

The couple were pictured on a family day out at the beach with their children Apple, eight, and Moses, ten, over the weekend, and they looked very cosy as they walked on the sand together.

Gwyneth was pictured linking arms with Chris and rubbing his left arm as they walked:

Now, we're not making any assumptions here, but we DEFINITELY would not be that affectionate with any of our exes!

The couple were also snapped sitting close together as they watched their kids play.

Coldplay frontman Chris has reportedly been in a relationship with Jennifer Lawrence since late last year, and the pair even attended Harry Style's 21st bash earlier this month as a couple, according to partygoers.

As for Gwyneth, she has been linked to Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk, whom she worked with during her time on the hit show as substitute teacher Holly Holliday.

The actress spoke in a recent interview with Marie Claire Australia about her current relationship with Chris, which she says is platonic. "We've worked really f***ing hard to get to [this] point. But we're very, very close, and it's so nice….I feel like it's, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have," she told the magazine.

Whatever's going on, we can't imagine Jennifer or Brad were too happy to see these most recent pictures!
