DART users assured earlier DELAYS will not impact the entire service

Following an unforeseen suspension of service on Southbound DART and Commuter services earlier today, Iarnród Éireann had initially advised passengers to allow for 25-minute delays today.

Taking to Twitter this morning, they explained that a temporary suspension of service had been put in place after a passenger was taken ill at Tara Street.

Iarnród Éireann have since advised the public that while service has resumed, delays are to be expected.

"Southbound services through Tara Street Station now resuming with delays up to 25 minutes," they initially tweeted.

Following on from this, they have updated passengers and advised the public that delays are currently easing off.

"Delays are easing, up to 15 mins at present. Not expected to impact for rest of day."
