Yes! This adjustment to the Luas is about to make life so much easier

by

While we may all be moaning about how long it's taking to build the new Luas lines, we can't deny that the Luas is an oh-so handy way of getting around the city.

However, if your Leap Card often pulls a Houdini and escapes from your clutches at the crucial tag-on moments, you may be partial to paying by card at the machine.

Since the dawn of the Luas era, there has been a minimum spend on card transactions, which has forced people to pay for a full line route when they only wanted to go a few short stops.

Now, the Luas is doing away with the rule and we're definitely happy about it.

"There is no longer any minimum limit for Credit or Debit Card transactions at Luas Ticket Machines," reads a statement on the Luas information page.

"You can now use Credit or Debit Cards for purchases from €0 to €150 at any Luas Ticket Machine."

Oh, and while we have you; don't forget to have your say in the inaugural SHEmazing Awards this May! It's time to vote, and you can do it right here!
