Why you’ll shortly be seeing A LOT more male nipples

by

Several celebrities are unhappy with the fact that men can go topless on social media but women can't.

In a bid to overcome this, female A-listers have began posting shirtless selfies with men's nipples photoshopped over their own –  a move which evidently keeps the likes of Instagram happy (which bans ladies' nipples).

Model Chrissy Tiegan recently brought the #FreeTheNipple campaign back into the lime light when she posted images from a recent photoshoot which included a nip slip.

The wife of John Legend was not impressed when her photo was removed, and even posted it more than once in an effort to get the #FreeTheNipple message around.

She then posted a near nip slip with a can of hairspray that just barely covered her lady lumps.

This prompted hundreds of women to jump on the bandwagon to spread the message.

A generic picture of a male nipple was even shared around, which people could then simply crop before adding it to their picture.

One of our favourite OITNB actors even joined in on the fun saying "these are the nipples of Miley Cyrus and Chrissy Tiegan (I hope you don't mind me borrowing them".

Matt McGorry said in his post: "It should be up to the individual woman to decide if she wants to show them, just like men have the choice.

"Part of the stand of #FreeTheNipple is about the right of women to claim what their breasts and nipples mean to THEM, and not have that be defined by how men and much of society decides what their boobies mean."

Matt continued saying: "If you have breasts, you might think, 'I’m not interested in showing my niplets on social media or in public,' in which case you should feel free to keep ‘em swaddled! But shouldn’t you support the freedom of CHOICE."

He then signed off: "At the heart of it, it’s simply about gender equality and equal rights."

It's safe to say he is a new favourite feminist celebrity, so.
