Tinsel lashes are here (and they’re an eye infection waiting to happen)
What could look better paired with your Christmas tree brows? Why, tinsel eyelashes of course.
The glittery look is currently going viral on Instagram, but originated with Regina from alternative beauty page Cool Girls Wear Mugler.
The tinsel lashes are ethereal, beautiful, and look like they belong on a high fashion runway.
We're obsessed with the gorgeous iridescent look, created by taking tiny strips of tinsel, trimming them to lash length, and using eyelash glue to stick them to your lash line.
However, we have to question how safe they would be to actually wear on a night out.
It hurts enough when we get one of our lash extensions stuck in our eye, never mind a scratchy piece of tinsel.
Perhaps we could do it if we just opted for tinsel on the lower lash line?
This look may have to be left to the Instagram experts this party season.
