CBB star Calum Best arrested on suspicion of ‘sexual assault’

Calum Best has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of attacking a woman.

According to the Sun On Sunday, a 20-year-old woman has claimed the Celebrity Big Brother star assaulted her after a night out.

“She was hysterical. She ran out of the hotel and didn’t have all her clothes on. Police found a bra and belt in the hotel when they went to investigate,” a source told the paper.

Calum, 34, was arrested at the scene in Manchester, then questioned by police but was ultimately released on bail.

Police in Manchester have now confirmed they were called to the hotel “following reports that a 20-year-old woman had been sexually assaulted”.

“Officers arrested a 34-year-old man. He has been bailed until November pending further enquiries,” they added.

Mr Best, the son of late Man United icon George and a former boyfriend of Dublin model Georgia Salpa, was on a night out with friends. That group included Ex On The Beach star Ashley Cain.
