Couple recreate The Notebook in engagement photo shoot

It’s a sad fact of life that we can’t all marry Ryan Gosling, but would you dress up your hubby-to-be so that he looked like him in the engagement photos?

Cindy Gauthier and Jean-Nicola Barile decided they loved The Notebook so much they would recreate some of the iconic scenes in their engagement photoshoot (don’t worry – we didn’t know engagement photoshoots were a thing either!).

We’re not sure how we feel about these photos. They’re kind of great, but they’re also kind of mortifying. What do you think?
