SHEmazing! caught up with Sue to get  the insider track on her secrets, tips and love of all things beauty.

What is your best budget beauty buy?
My top budget buy has to be Collection Concealer. It's the only budget product I've bought consistently for close to three years now. You'll pick it up for just €6.49 but it works like a product five times its price. Trust me.

What is your top make-up tip?
My top tip has to be to remember that there are no rules. Sure, follow the instructions printed on your product, then go ahead and do whatever the hell you want with it – it's yours. Lippie as blush? No problem. Blush as eye shadow? If you like. We can tend to take make-up far too seriously, the truth is we're playing dress up, it should be fun.

Most girls have much-loved lipstick – what's yours?
My fail safe lippie is from one of the most underrated brands in beauty today – Clarins. My lipstick of choice: Rouge Prodige in Fig. The rich and creamy formulation gives flattering shine and colour for hours on end. I tend to concentrate more on eye make-up so the muted fig shade is the ideal colour for me.

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
My first perfume was '90s superstar fragrance, Fuzzy Peach from The Body Shop. I could make peoples' eyes water from 90 paces with the copious amounts I used but dognammit I was obsessed. Today I'm a little more subtle. Perfume du jour is L'Occitane's Frisson de Veveine, a fresh, green citrusy burst of scent – perfect for the summer months.

You're only allowed use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
Firstly, how cruel! Having gathered my thoughts though, my top three would have to be: Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream – it's a budget base that punches well above its weight in terms of evening skin tone, coverage and finish. I LOVES it; Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara – Toddlers have been known to be blown over with the sheer gusts generated from batting my lashes with this luxe mascara on and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette – or as it should be known – Photoshop For ALL. Everyone should have this palette of witchcraft and wizardry in their arsenal. Everyone.
