Has Zoe Saldana found the perfect man? Definitely!

Actress Zoe has been speaking of her husband Marco’s decision to take her surname upon their marriage – rather than the other way around.

Oh, and did we mention he is really really ridiculously good-looking?

The Guardians Of The Galaxy star sits beaming on the cover of the July issue of InStyle magazine, in which she reveals how Italian artist Marco Perego took her name after the two secretly married back in the summer of 2013.

Zoe explained that she even tried to talk him out of taking her name, despite being "proud" of him.

She stated: "I tried to talk him out of it. I told him: 'If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world,'" she told InStyle.

"But Marco looks up at me and says [she puts on a cute Italian accent]: 'Ah, Zoe, I don’t give a sheet'.”

Ms Saldana recently posted a Facebook status about her husband's decision to take her name, urging men to defy gender stereotypes.

"Fathers, sons, brothers, men everywhere: Your legacy will not perish if you take your partner's surname, or she keeps hers.

"I’ve been made aware that a comment I made regarding my marriage has garnered some attention. I felt proud that my husband decided to take my last name as his own… and I his.

"Why is it so surprising, shocking, eventful that a man would take his wife's surname? Women have never been asked if its OK for them to give up their names – why doesn’t that make the news?

"Men, you will not cease to exist by taking your partner’s surname. On the contrary — you’ll be remembered as a man who stood by change. I know our sons will respect and admire their father more because their father lead by example."

The couple had twins boys back in November 2014, and Saldana has furthermore spoken about the challenges and changes that motherhood brings.

Cheryl, Cheryl, Cheryl…

Or should we say Cheryl Fernandez-Versini?

The X Factor judge has been hitting the headlines for all of the wrong reasons this week – and today is no exception!

Cheryl has now hit out at people not using her full and correct title in a new interview with Marie Claire.

The singer, who looks stunning in the shoot, branded people who cannot get her full name right as “ignorant”: “People are so ignorant about it, they just start calling me Cheryl, but I’ll take that, whatever.”

Hmm, doesn’t sound like she’ll take it very graciously though – does it?!

Cheryl was born Cheryl Tweedy before taking on the married name of Cole, but chose to keep the ‘Cheryl Cole’ moniker following her divorce from footballer Ashley Cole in 2010.

However, following her marriage to Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini during the summer, Cheryl chose to take on the name Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and has hit out at anyone still calling her by her old names.

The pop star told Marie Claire that changing her name just seemed like the right thing to do: "It's come quite naturally, you know."

It has been reported that James Corden and his wife, Julia, welcomed a baby girl into the world on Monday night.

The Sun have revealed that the overjoyed couple have chosen to name the little girl Carey – though we’re sure it has nothing to do with Halloween being just around the corner (or at least we really hope not!)

In fact, it is thought the name came from Julia’s maiden surname – which makes a lot more sense really.

James and Julia are already parents to three-year-old Max.

The news of their exciting arrival comes not long after James was announced as the new host of the US The Late Late Show replacing Craig Ferguson.

Congratulations to the happy family on their exciting news!

Jessica Simpson has revealed that she is planning to change her surname.

The singer was married to Eric Johnson during the summer and has said that her marriage has brought them closer together as a couple: “We are a little more addicted to each other. There is a level of love that has reached the highest of highs.” Sounds intense!

Jessica told the Today show in the US that she is going to change her name to Jessica Johnson: “When I renew my licence that’s very expired, I’m going to be Jessica Johnson.”

The singer also joked: “Doesn’t Jessica Johnson sound like the best stripper name ever?”

While she didn’t say whether the change would be on a professional level also, we have to say that ‘Jessica Johnson’ has a great ring to it! And not in a stripper way either, Jess!

However, Jessica has said in the past that the name ‘Simpson’ tends to have a bit more pull when it comes to the world of fame, so perhaps not: “If it’s a hard restaurant to get into, I will definitely say ‘Simpson.’ It helps a little bit.”

Jane Fonda has revealed what her real name is – and we can’t believe she changed it in the first place!

The Monster-In-Law actress told Jimmy Kimmel that she was actually born Lady Jayne Seymour Fonda.

No, not from a royal genealogy – her parent just chose Lady as her first name!

However, the actress revealed she changed it, as well as the spelling of Jayne to Jane, as she was a tomboy and didn’t like her unusual name.

Well, we have to say, if there was ever a celebrity name, Lady was it!

We’re sure she has no regrets as she made it to the top without a fancy name!

Okay, this is insane!

Kim Kardashian has finally revealed the reason she and her husband, Kanye West, decided to name their little girl North.

The truth is…it’s all Pharrell William’s fault! Oh, and Anna Wintour too!

The reality TV star told this month’s edition of GQ magazine, on which she graces the front cover, that the name never occurred to them until the media picked it up!

Kim said: “It was a rumour in the press and we’d never really considered it seriously. But Kanye and I were having lunch and Pharrell came over to us and said, ‘Oh my God, are you guys really going to call your daughter ‘North’? That is the best name.’ Then a little while later Anna Wintour came over and asked the same thing. She told us: ‘North is a genius name.’ Kanye and I looked at one another and just laughed. I guess at that point it sort of stuck.”

Though it may have seen a little bit ludicrous when they ACTUALLY named their daughter North West, we can’t imagine it any other way – so kudos to Pharrell and Anna Wintour!

Actress, Maggie Gyllenhaal, has revealed that Maggie is not her real name!

Maggie, who is the sister of Hollywood hottie, Jake Gyllenhaal, had located her birth cert before her marriage in 2009 and was shocked to find out her real name is Margalit and not Maggie, or even Margaret!

The actress said: “Maggie’s on everything! Maggie’s on my driver’s licence, my passport, everything!”

However, her mother has insisted that Margalit was not the name she gave to her daughter after her birth.

While she says she likes the name Margalit, it isn’t something she associated with herself: “I actually really love that, but it’s not my name.”

Sounds as if we all better double check those birth certificates!

Would you change your surname if you got married?

Game of Thrones hunk Kit Harington didn’t know his real name until he was 11 years old.

Yep, true story!

When the actor – whose real first name is Christopher – was asked why his parents didn’t tell him he wasn’t actually called Kit – he was stumped.

“I haven’t got a clue! I think they could see that I wanted to be Kit, but Christopher was a bit of a tradition. My brother’s name is Jack, but his real name is John. Kit is traditionally an offshoot of Christopher, it’s just not used that often. My middle name is Catesby,” he said.

He went on, “It’s cool, isn’t it? It’s also my brother’s middle name. Jake Catesby and Kit Catesby. It’s my mom’s maiden name, actually.”

He added that he thought of using Kit Catesby as a stage name but decided against it.

“I nearly did, but I thought it sounded too much like a 1950s talk-show host. I was close, actually! Sometimes I think, that would have been a cool name, but Kit Harington works,” he said.

We have to agree there!
