Wife’s dying wish for her family granted two years after her death

When mum-of-four Brenda Schmitz found out she had terminal cancer in 2011, she wrote a letter to a local radio station before she died asking for three wishes to be granted for her family.

She put this letter into the care of a close friend and asked her to send it to the station when the time was right – when her husband David fell in love again.
