The sun is shining (for the moment, anyway) and spring is officially in the air – but for those famous folk residing in celebsville, summer never really ends. Yes, as well as attending fabulous parties and being, well, generally fabulous, internationally-renowned names also get to go on holidays; lots of holidays.
Whether it’s Selena Gomez sunning herself in Mexico, or Rochelle Humes in Miami sipping cocktails, even a courtesy glance at social media is giving us a serious case of sunshine-envy. Here, we wrap up Instagram’s best beach bodies of 2015 so far.
Georgia Salpa
The Dublin model and reality TV star seems to never be far from a beach – much to the delight of her 350,000 Instagram followers. The locations are usually warm, sunny, and expensive-looking. Georgia gets married next month in Italy to her businessman fiancé Joe Penna, and being particularly toned and tanned already, it’s unlikely that she’ll need to bother with a spray tan for her Big Day. We can’t wait for the honeymoon pics too.
Demi Lovato
She recently blasted the trend for thigh-gaps, and says she’s always been proud of her curves. But the 22-year-old singer still looks to be in the best shape of her life right now. Last month, she shared a snap of her holding a white puppy – and donning a neon bikini which perfectly showed off her pert derriere. If that’s not enough she’s currently sunning herself again – this time in Australia, where she’s on tour.
Selena Gomez
Her fuller figure caused a stir last week while she holidayed in Mexico with friends, but Selena Gomez is clearly feeling defiant. She laughed off any criticism with a simple message: “I love being happy with me y’all #theresmoretolove,” complete with an image of her sprawled out on a sun lounger. We think Selena looks spectacular – and evidently her 28.3m followers on Instagram agree.
Rochelle Humes
One-fifth of The Saturdays, 26-year-old Rochelle and her husband Marvin love to visit the Maldives – where they got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2011. They’ve been back several times since, usually bringing their adorable two-year old daughter Alaia-Mai along with them. Right now the pair are in Miami enjoying pool-side parties, with Rochelle showing off her gorgeous figure in some seriously colourful swimwear.
Kylie Jenner
Still only 17, Kylie certainly isn’t suffering from any teenage crisis in confidence: she’s happy to show off her figure in an array of selfies posted online to her millions of loyal fans. A recent shot of her in a black halter-neck bikini caused a flurry of 1.4m likes on Instagram – and got everyone talking. And suffice to say that there will be plenty more scantily-clad images over the course of the summer.
