The rumours are true… Singer is expecting baby number two!

Colombian singer Shakira is expecting a second baby with footballer boyfriend Gerard Pique.

The Hips Don’t Lie singer confirmed the wonderful news in an interview with Cosmopolitan Mexico, saying, “The truth is that yes, I am pregnant.” Congratulations!

There’s no word yet on the due date, but Shakira was already showing subtle signs of a bump when she performed at the World Cup closing ceremony last month. She looked spectacular in a revealing red dress, but many speculated it had been designed to hold in her growing tummy:

Shakira and Gerard already have one son together, 18-month-old Milan, who appeared in the music video for Shakira’s 2014 World Cup anthem along with his daddy Gerard.

Although she made an incredible body transformation after her first birth, the singer revealed recently that it wasn’t easy. “It was a shock, the first time I looked in the mirror after giving birth,” she told the German edition of Women’s Health magazine. “You wonder whether it’s even possible to look the way you did before.”
