Well, the awkwardness is about to hit a new high. According to reports, Love Island winner Amber Gill has secretly been replaced by Maura Higgins in the line-up for Dancing On Ice 2019.

Maura apparently won over ITV bosses, who were previously scouting Amber for the job. She was thought to be the frontrunner to take part, but now producers may have changed their minds.

A source told The Sun: "Dancing On Ice producers were always going to sign a Love Island star for next year’s series and they wanted a girl this time after having two guys in the past."

"It was looking hopeful for Amber but Maura pipped her to the post with her sense of humour and personality."

Wes Nelson made it to the final of the show last year, while Kem Cetinay competed in 2018, so it wouldn't be the first time that a former Islander skated in the show.

Since Maura has left the villa, the star has landed a role as an agony aunt on This Morning, and secured a huge fashion deal with Boohoo alongside India Reynolds.

Dancing On Ice producers reportedly met with a number of Love Islanders, including Amber, before deciding to focus on Maura after ITV viewers fell in love with her honesty.

Amber is doing well with her aunt's Newcastle salon, and can charge a huge amount for a sponsored Instagram post, so she's not exactly the loser here after winning the cash prize on the show.

The Geordie beautician hit back at claims that she wasn't doing any business deals since leaving the show, compared to Molly-Mae Hague's huge clothing deal with PrettyLittleThing.

"Sis, please don’t tell me you think I’m out here doing nothing," she wrote on Twitter to a fan. "I always do the most. Be patient!"

The news comes after numerous sources have claimed Greg O'Shea and Amber have secretly split after the distance between them became too difficult to manage.

So we've had a dramatic recoupling and Yewande getting the boot.

While Danny and Arabella might be all coupled-up now, there are eight hot new Islanders on their way.

Yes, it's that time again – Casa Amor is set to test the couples as no challenge has before.

For those not familiar with this other villa, it is where the Islanders are split up for several days.

Four new guys and four new girls come in and crack on with each other.

But where does that leave our happily coupled-up pairs?

Every year, the lads have gone to Casa Amor to meet the new girls and the OG girls have stayed in the villa to welcome the new boys.

But not this time – our ladies will be heading to the new villa and getting to know the hot new singles.

WE ARE BUZZING.

We don't know who the new Islanders will be yet but there has been one revealed – and he wants to steal Amy from Curtis.

Builder Dan Rose is rumoured to be entering Casa Amor this week and we just feel the fireworks a-comin'.

In 2018's series, there were scenes when Georgia 'I'm loyal babes' Steel was left on her arse after Josh Denzel came back to the villa with Kaz Crossley.

With Lucie being open someone who isn't Joe and Arabella and Maura not being in a solid couple, could their heads be turned?

Or will it be one of the longer-standing couples that will think, ''I'm happy, but could I be happier?''

Curtis, watch out.

With Casa Amor looming and eight sexy new Islanders getting ready to f*ck sh*t up, we are EXCITED.

And with several couples seeming really solid, could this test break them?

Like Curtis and Amy, the resident Old Married Couple.

But not for much longer, if new by Dan Rose has anything to do with it.

Meet Coventry builder Dan, who works between construction sites and a career as a part-time model.

The 23-year-old reportedly has his set his sights on air hostess Amy.

According to The Mirror, ''Dan is ruthless and will shake things up massively. His usual type is blonde and slim and Amy fits the bill perfectly.''

They continued, ''His arrival is going to cause major destruction in the villa – especially with Curtis. Who knows if Amy's head will be turned."

He has been looking for love for a year and Amy could be the one as they have their love of travel in common.

Dan has been jetting around the world with holidays to  Bali, Budapest, and Romania.

And with rumours that he is confident with women, maybe Amy will leave her ballroom-dancing motivational-speaker half-boyfriend.

We'll be tuning in with bated breath…

After THAT episode last night, Love Island is hotting up.

Between the irritating Danny-Yewande-Arabella love triangle and then Tom monumentally putting his foot in it with Maura, there was a lot going on.

And then the news came that tonight, Monday, there will be a surprise recoupling meaning that someone will be booted out of the villa.

Our nerves.

The clip showed the Islanders getting a message which said, ''Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling. The boys will choose and the girl not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the Island. #ByeFelicia #GirlCrushed."

We know that the obvious coupes are safe – resident motivational speaker Curtis and Amy, Amber and Michael, Anna and Jordan, Molly-Mae and Tommy, etc.

But who will Danny go for?

He's been coupled up with Yewande but since model Arabella arrived, he's been keeping his options open.

Danny told cameras in the beach hut, ''I've got to make a decision. They both want me to couple up with them but I'll be disappointing one.''

He continued, ''I've got to pick one girl and whoever I don't could be leaving.''

Well done Danny, that's kinda how it all works.

Also, Tom and Maura looked set to be a solid couple after they were heading to the Hideaway.

That is, until Tom ut his foot in it and Maura heard him tell the lads, ''Let's see if she's all mouth.''

Vue Maura telling him to go f*ck himself – as she should.

We can't wait to see the drama unfold – roll on 9pm.

This has been the LONGEST time coming but finally, we're heading back to Hawkins.

Stranger Things 3 have released their final trailer ahead of it's July 4 release and it looks even better than we imagined.

The clip shows the whole gang fighting an even greater evil than the Show Monster – and it looks like Billy might be an actual bad guy for real.

Eleven says, ''I closed the gate'…but she realises what if she locked them IN with the monster?

We just got chills.

It looks like Starcourt Mall is where the big battle will take place and if the massive roar and terrified faces of the characters are anything to go by, it's gonna be scary.

A few things from that I am delighted about are:

Murray Bauman is back and hanging out with Joyce and Hopper.

There's a new team of Steve, Dustin, Erica Sinclair and newcomer Robin (played by Maya Thurman-Hawke.)

Billy has a big storyline – think he goes through similar to what Will did in Season 2.

More Dad Steve and Dustin scenes.

If you want to look for clues in what this season has in  store then the episode titles are – “Suzie, Do You Copy?,” “The Mall Rats,” “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard,” “The Sauna Test,” “The Source,” “The Birthday,” “The Bite,” and “The Battle of Starcourt.”

We better stock up on Eggos and get ready for what looks like the best season yet.

Stranger Things 3 premieres globally on July 4, on Netflix.

The next season of Riverdale will begin with a tribute to the late Luke Perry.

Luke played the much-loved character of Fred Andrews and his death in March of a stroke shocked cast, crew and fans worldwide.

Fred was seen in the last episode of season three, advising his on-screen son Archie (KJ Apa).
He didn't feature in the remaining episodes but they were dedicated to him.

Now show creator Robert Aguirre-Sacasa has announced that season four will open in Memoriam, which will honour the actor and his character.

He took to Twitter writing, ''Probably the most important episode of #Riverdale we’ll do this year, if not ever. A tribute to our fallen friend. Thankful for this opportunity to honour Luke & Fred.''

Robert spoke before about how they will address Fred in the show.

He told Entertainment Tonight in March, ''You know, honestly, we are I think all still in shock and are still processing and grieving. We know that we have to address it in some way, but we’re giving ourselves a little bit of time and space before we figure out the best way to honour him.''

He continued, ''Luke was, is, and will always be a big part of Riverdale. We’re kind of a family and when a loss like this happens, you carry it always. It changes and it hopefully becomes a little less painful as time goes by, but you’re changed. When I was with the crew, I said, “it will never be the same,” and that’s true because Luke was such a part of the show.’

We are looking forward to seeing how they acknowledge Luke as the great actor and man that he was.

Tonight's Love Island looks set to be a good one and we cannot wait.

In a twist, the couple had to vote for who they thought was the least compatible….and they chose Joe and Lucie and Elma and Anton.

No big surprises there, right?

However, the public has the power now to kick out their least two favourite Islanders.

Thank f*ck.

Ok, so I know Lucie isn't Miss Innocent and whispering with a guy (Tommy) she was in a love triangle with isn't the nicest thing in the world to do, but she needs to get away from Joe.

Sandwich man Joe started out as alright, few red flags of jealousy and possessiveness…but the last few days, his behaviour is downright not ok.

He's making Lucie feel bad for not being a girlie girl and told her she needs to spend more time with the girls in the villa.

He 's said that her friendship with Tommy is ''weird'' because he's a guy and it's kinda gaslighting.

So bye Joe.

So – Elma and Anton.

Anton's video when he came in had me thinking – Oh ffs, here's an arrogant shit' but he's such a sweetheart.

He's been pied so many times and is still smiling.

He told Molly-Mae how it was, hugged Anna even though he had to recouple with a romantic partner, is funny and just seems like a good guy.

He's not everyone's cup of tea but he's not a d*ckhead, that's for sure.

I initially thought Elma was ok and she and Anton seemed to make sense…but her behaviour the minute (could be just sneaky editing) after Anton chose her, she went cold.

I was like – wtf Elma?

Anton is a CUTIE – I know, I know, keeping her options open…I just feel like she's not and never has been into Anton and I'm not a fan.

So for me, it's an easy choice…Joe and Elma should get the boot.

We'll see how Lucie acts without Joe and as for Anton, throw someone in there who fancies the poor lad, will you?

Love Island has been taking over our lives since it burst back onto our TV screens at the start of the month.

And while we're still getting to know the contestants, Amber just wasn't coming across nice and we weren't fans.

She was rude to Callum (''I'm 28.'' ''So you're old then.'' ''I look quite young, no? Do I have wrinkles?'' ''Yeah you do.'')

She wasn't exactly charming.

But my oh my, how the tables have turned.

The 21-year-old beauty therapist has gone from one of the most slated contestants to the nation's sweetheart.

After starting off on the wrong foot, the Newcastle native has redeemed herself – by not giving a sh*t.

First up, she doesn't have an ounce of desperation in her body as she proved when she saw right through Tommy trying to crack onto her after getting rebuffed by Lucie.

She was having none of it – when most others might have swooned at his attention.

Then, it seemed like she and firefighter Michael were getting close.

She kept her cards close to her chest but anytime they had an interaction together, I felt like I was intruding watching them, you know?

I realised that it was because they had genuine chemistry, they actually *shock horror* fancied each other a bit.

While she didn't shut Michael down, she did keep him guessing and it was obvious that maybe her (sometimes) harsh exterior is a shield for her insecurities – she just doesn't want to get hurt.

And who can't relate to that?

After she was chosen to go on a date with Danny, she came back saying that it made her realise that she does like Michael.

When they kissed for the first time, you could feel the attraction between them, but it was organic and not forced like, ahem, some of the other couples.

Fans of the show seem to agree.

One said, ''Me trying to figure out how I've come to stan amber this much in the space of an episode and a half.''

While another wrote, ''Ambers actually a g – she is not a player and doesn't take shit from anyone – knows what she wants and is self-assured enough to never settle for less.''

As well as that, Amber is coming across as a real girls girl and a good mate.

Her close friendship with scientist Yewande is amazing and she stood up for pharmacist Anna when gym owner Anton was a bit tactless.

She and Michael confronted Anton with Amber putting it bluntly when she calls him ''an idiot.''

We love a girl who tells it like it is.

Amber might be brutal and to the point but tbh, we'd rather that then some of the two-faced b*tches that she's in the villa with.

Here's hoping she and Michael pair up in the next recoupling because we think they could easily knock Curtis and Amy off their thrones and maybe even win the show.

Watch this space…

Here we go again guys – get ready to die.

We meet Charlie along the way who is also stuck in the same loop as Nadia and together they try and figure it out.

The news about season 2 came from Natasha, who posted a video with the infamous song – Harry Nilsson’s Gotta Get Up – in her bathroom.

We're gonna have eight more episodes to devour and we know they will be fantastic as Lyonne is the creator and executive producer of the show, alongside Amy Poehler, and Leslye Headland

Fans were delighted with the news and took to social media to express their happiness.

One said, ''I've been waiting for millions of years. This literally made my day.''

While another wrote, ''I binged season 1 when it first came out, I still have " gotta get up, gotta get out, gotta get home before the morning " so how soon is soon on season 2?''

Agatha Christie fans, we have good news for you.

In the tradition of her works being adapted for BBC One, we have the latest installment – and it's a great one.

The Pale Horse will be hitting your television screens later this year.

So what is the storyline?

Based on the 1961 novel, the plot centres on a mysterious list of names is found in the shoe of a dead woman.

One of the names on the list is Mark Easterbrook, who begins an investigation into how and why his name came to be there and is drawn to The Pale Horse, which is the home of three rumoured witches in the tiny village of Much Deeping.

It all sounds quite spooky – and that is because it is one of the creepier Christie works.

There are rumours that the witches can get rid of rich relatives with the use of the dark arts – but Mark isn't so sure.

The book was adapted for TV  in 2010 with Julia McKenzie starring as iconic sleuth Ms. Marple.

There are no cast announcements so far for Phelps' version but it will be directed by Leonora Lonsdale and produced by Ado Yoshizaki Cassuto.

This is the fourth Christie book Sarah has tackled from page to screen – the first three being And Then There Were None, The Witness For The Prosecution and Ordeal By Innocence.

Sarah said ''Written in 1961, against the backdrop of the Eichmann Trial, the escalation of the Cold War and Vietnam, The Pale Horse is a shivery, paranoid story about superstition, love gone wrong, guilt and grief.''

She continued, ''It’s about what we’re capable of when we’re desperate and what we believe when all the lights go out and we’re alone in the dark.”

We are huge fans of a good murder mystery so we can't wait.

Love Island might be only two episodes in but already we're hooked.

We know it's trash tv and that 90% of the contestants are fame-hungry wannabes but it's just SO ADDICTIVE.

So we have the first pairings and then two new lads walked in – Dancing With the Stars' Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury, Tysons younger brother.

Cue the drama.

The lads had 24 hours to steal a girl from another guy and of course, it was never gonna run smoothly.

The strongest couple – surfer chick Lucie (whose vocabulary solely consists of ''surfing'' ''bev'' and ''bevy'') and Londoner Joe were the ones we were all hoping would be left alone by the ride that is Tommy.

It kinda gives us flashbacks of the whole Dom/Montana thing from Series 3 when Jess Shears came in and nabbed Dom.

This time it was Lucie who was cruelly ripped from Joe, who – we can see in tonight's preview, isn't taking it well.

(Lucie, on the other hand, looks fairly chuffed to be on a date with boxer Tommy – shocking, right?)

But – Tommy wanted Lucie the most – and sure who can blame him for picking her when his other option was Amber aka The Rudest Person On The Planet?

The whole point of Love Island is to find your perfect match – so why wouldn't Tommy go for the girl he fancied the most?

We also have to remember that the show needs storylines and drama – Lucie is gorgeous but it's a bit odd that Tommy wants the only girl who is happily coupled up.

In other news, Curtis and ''international'' air hostess Amy bonded over being dorks and it's actually quite cute.

We were delighted when the dancer picked her, also because it means she gets away from Creepy Anton (those eyebrows are ALL we can see).

Roll on tonight's episode where we are assuming we'll see:

-Joe crying

-Yewande getting no air time

-Sherif and Anna being coyly into each other

-Anton flirting with Tommy

The world was shocked and saddened by the passing of Riverdale star Luke Perry in March of this year.

The 53-year-old suffered a massive stroke and died several days later.

The actor, who had played Fred Andrews for three seasons, had three episodes of the season left to film.

The dilemma then was – how do the creators address it?

Do they write his character out, give an unexplained absence or kill him off?

They decided that for season three, they would just leave it be.

The show said that Fred was away on business and Molly Ringwald came back as Archie's mother Mary so that the teenager had a parent to take care of him.

So, what's gonna happen in season 4 then?

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa revealed what was in store.

He said, ''When Luke passed, it was such a shock, and it was devastating and we kind of have to deal with the emotion of that, and then you have to figure out everything that comes next.''

He continued, ''We will definitely deal with it and address it on the show…we’ll do it at the top of Season 4. We just didn’t want to rush in and do something before we had fully figured it out.''

He added, ''We’d already written basically the end of the season, so rather than try to squeeze in something that’s so monumental and so important, we thought, ‘Let’s take the time to think about what we want to do, and do it right.'”

Image result for riverdale comic con

The good news is that Molly Ringwald looks like she'll be set to step into a series regular role.

Roberto  said, ''[We’ve told her], ‘You’re welcome back anytime, as often as you want and as much as you  want.''

He continued, ''We actually already had her scheduled to come back to Riverdale to visit Archie and Fred. When the tragedy happened, she said, ‘If you need me to stay, I’ll stay.’ And I said, “We’d love you to stay’…We’ve talked about Molly having a bigger presence next year to help her son.''

We'll have to sit tight as we wait for another season – hopefully Fred Andrews will get the send-off he deserves as he was such a beloved character.
