Among some of our favourite TV shows is Gogglebox; both the Irish and UK versions.

The British version has been with us for years and we feel like we're the TV watchers' next door neighours.

And then there's the Irish version that only came on the scene last year, yet with its Irish charm, it's captured the heart of many.

There's something that can be said for Irish charm, and one of the best TV moments had to be Teresa Mannion's 2015 weather forecast.

Yep, this one:

Well, a little ode was made to Teresa in Gogglebox UK this week when two sisters, Ellie and Izzi retorted her 'don't make unnecessary journeys' speech when they were watching TV.

From the end of last year we've had every storm imaginable, from Barney to Gertrude, it seemed like they just didn't stop.

However, one Irish weather woman became a national hero when she battled it out with Storm Desmond for a once in a lifetime weather report.

Teresa became so popular that many gifs and memes were made, as well as song remixes and even a ceili dance.

Well, one Sky News weather woman is trying to take our very own Teresa Mannion's place by conducting a very similar news cast.

Joanna Simpson became the UK's national hero overnight as she was almost swept away by Storm Katie.

Very much like Teresa's report, Joanna tried to keep a straight face as the wind bashed against her and blew her hair away.

We have to say, we think Teresa's report won by a long shot as she had to battle the rain as well, but who knows, maybe we need a competition to equal things out.

There's only one weather woman able to brave a bristly storm, and that's Teresa Mannion.

*Exclaimer: This is purely for fun and we really feel sorry for Joanna having to work in that weather.*

The nation's sensation Teresa Mannion has just landed herself something spectacular, and frankly, it's a wonder nobody has thought about doing this before.

As we all know the presenter made herself famous following her brilliant weather report last year. She even made it on to Ellen.

"DON'T TAKE RISKS ON TREACHEROUS ROADS."

Teresa has been asked to front a new Road Safety Authority driving campaign.

“What I really love about the whole response to it is that there is an important safety message at the heart,” she told The Sun.

“The mantra is ‘don’t make unnecessary journeys and don’t take risks on treacherous roads’, and it’s a really important safety message, so much so, that the Road Safety Authority have asked me to record ads for them, for radio and online.

“They want me to be a road safety ambassador because they saw the value in it, so I was delighted about that.”

Perfect job for Teresa, don't you think?

If we remember anything about this year, it's that Teresa Mannion became a national hero as she tried to battle #StormDesmond and deliver a weather forecast at the same time.

Yep, we all fell in love with that brilliant weather report; even Ariana Grande couldn't get enough of it.

Now, you may remember this handpainted Father Ted jacket that Irish artist, Hannah Hogan created earlier this year. Well, now she has made an even better one of Teresa.

The detail is #onpoint, and the caption, "Don't take risks on treacherous roads" is something we will never forget hearing.

We're sure it's going to strike up a conversation no matter where you go. All we want to know now is how can we get our hands on it?!

While Teresa Mannion became a national treasure over the weekend, she also became a global phenomenon.

While the RTE reporter was all over social media following the clip broadcast on Saturday, epic weather report was also picked up by news outlets all around the world.

And so it seems that Teresa's storm Desmond reporting is not just hilarious to us Irish, as now we have a bona fide international celebrity enjoying the clip.

Ariana Grande posted several Snapchat stories of herself and a friend enjoying the video before doing an impression of poor aul Teresa.

And it's pretty clear that Ariana finds the whole thing HILARIOUS.

Playing the vid at high speed, she and her dancer Brian can be heard giggling throughout the clip. The next video shows her and Brian doing an impression of Teresa in slow motion.

Watch the hilarious clip below.

Teresa Mannion, you are a legend.

Teresa Mannion became the nation's hero on Saturday after braving the elements in Galway to report live on Storm Desmond.

Never have our TV screens played witness to such a feat of bravery, as Teresa screamed over gusts of wind and rain to tell us, "DON'T make unnecessary journeys!"

As well as spawning a whole load of tweets, a céilí mash-up and some seriously impressive Photoshopping, Teresa's performance has also been immortalised in clothing form.

Irish t-shirt company Hairy Baby were quick off the mark with this "Teresa Says…" option, which we reckon will be flying off the shelves.

The new style has yet to appear on their website, so it seems the lads at Hairy Baby are still weighing up their options, but we hope it goes live soon.

While you wait, here are a couple of our favourite Teresa appearances:

What a woman.

4. Or is this really a cry for help?

5. And then this happened

6. Some were very concerned about her though

7. And others bowed down to her bravery

8. Which might actually happen

9. Because she totally deserves an award
