Former Disney and X-Factor US star Ricky Garcia is suing his former manager for alleged rape, according to reports by TMZ and DailyMail.com.

The actor and singer found fame after he was chosen by Simon Cowell to form a boyband on the talent show, but the 20-year-old has accused Joby Harte of sexual assault and rape from the age of 12 onwards.

In documents filed by attorney Ben Meiselas of Geragos and Geragos, Garcia claims that Harte and his company Hot Rock Media used the ‘well-worn paedophile playbook of grooming and seduction’ to consistently get him ‘black out drunk’ only for Ricky to wake up in the morning beside him naked.

"Defendant Harte, the ringleader, employed the well-worn paedophile playbook of grooming and seduction. He targeted an economically and emotionally vulnerable pre-teen and his parents. He then groomed and seduced the child’s mother to have her lay down her defences and give him unfettered access to her son, making her an unwitting accomplice to his depravity," the documents reportedly state.

Garcia starred in Disney’s Best Friends Whenever, also alleges that Harte  groomed him into a ‘sexual plaything that could be passed around his friends in the business’, including producer Nils Larsen. The claims have been categorically denied by Larsen and ex-APA agent Tyler Grasham in the ‘malicious prosecution’,

Garcia is suing Harte, Grasham, Larsen, Hot Rock Media, Cohen/Thomas Management and its partners Sheri Andersen Thomas and Paul Cohen, as well as APA. On Harte's Wikipedia page, it states that he helped to lanch ITV show Pop Idol and worked on Strictly Come Dancing.

Ricky wrote to his Instagram to tell fans that "today was one of the most difficult days of my life";

"Sadly I know my experience is just one of many and I hope my actions today will help others who experienced abuse to know that they are not alone and that there are people in this world fighting for them.

"So please if anyone is out there right now going through something even remotely similar to what I went through, please, we all need to speak out about this – yes of course I want justice for the POS that manipulated me, but more importantly this is about saving anyone else who feels like they don’t have a voice," the actor continued.

"YOU are not alone. This can happen to anyone you know. It’s just a matter of talking about this to people and letting your close ones know that it’s not okay."

He concluded the post; "So if anyone knows anyone else that’s going through this s**t as well. It’s so important to speak up for them."

Ricky auditioned for The X Factor US season three when he was just 14-years-old, before being eliminated during the boot camp round.

Simon Cowell asked him to return along with Emery Kelly and Jon Klaasen to form a trio called Forever in Your Mind. They were cut before the final 16 but were later signed to Hollywood Records.

Tyler Grasham was fired from APA in October 2017 amid sexual harassment and assault allegations from Blaise Godbe Lipman, Lucas Ozarowski and Jordan Gavaris.

According to court documents which were obtained by The Blast, 'Fiji Water intentionally created cardboard cutouts for use in a cardboard cutout marketing campaign' one day after the awards.

It is alleged that the following day, after the marketing material had been distributed already, the company attempted to make a deal with the model's agent.

'This lawsuit is frivolous and entirely without merit,' a Fiji Water rep told Bustle.

'We are confident that we will prevail in Court. Throughout our history, we have had a sterling reputation working with talent.'

Cuthberth is reported to believe that she  made up to $12 million worth of brand exposure for Fiji, and is suing for monetary damages.

She has responded with her own statement on Twitter, saying: 'The decision to sue Fiji Water was a last resort for me, and I had hoped to discretely resolve this dispute.'

'Fiji Water used my image without a contract, without consent and without payment, all for their own financial gain.'

Rihanna has now taken legal action against her father, Ronald Fenty, for using her trademark Fenty brand in a "fraudulent effort to solicit millions of dollars" without her permission.

Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, has filed a lawsuit against her dad after he set up the company Fenty Entertainment and apparently acted as her agent.

She claims Ronald and a man named Moses Perkins have been "soliciting business by falsely acting as her agent".

According to legal documents, the duo are allegedly seeking "to profit from her fame" and "although Mr. Fenty is Rihanna’s father, he does not have, and never has had, authority to act on Rihanna’s behalf."

The ANTI singer and beauty mogul also claims they have falsely booked her for a $15 million Latin American tour, two concerts at Staples Centre in LA and a Las Vegas show, worth $400,000.

The documents also allege that her father tried unsuccessfully to file trademark for Fenty multiple times to launch a "resort hotel services" with the hope of "exploiting Rihanna’s name and brand". Yikes.

The 30-year-old star insists that she tried to settle the issues outside of court but that he ignored her cease and desist mail. She's now asking a judge to place an injunction on Ronald.

Fenty has been trademarked by Bad Gal Riri for all business ventures, such as her cosmetics and lingerie collections.

The Umbrella songstress has a turbulent relationship with her biological father; she has maintained that he physically abused her mother and has been addicted to crack cocaine in the past.

Despite the drama, she is still in contact with her dad and they were seen together in Barbados last November celebrating her grandfather's 90th birthday.

Sounds pretty tumultuous to us, it makes our family spats at the dinner table look hella minor.

A statement was read at the opening of a criminal case brought by the Royals over the pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge taken when she was sunbathing topless in France in 2012

Prince William described the decision to publish the pictures as 'shocking'.

He said it brought back awful memories of the 'harassment' similar to how his mother Diana was treated by photographers and has demanded €1.5 million in compensation.

The Telegraph reports that the couple is also seeking a significant fine from France's Closer magazine which reproduced the photos which were taken during a holiday at a chateau in the South of France six years ago.

The case is being played out in a court in Paris where six people are on trial for alleged invasion of privacy.

Here is part of William's statement which was read out in court by the couple's solicitor Jean Veil:

"In September 2012, my wife and I thought that we could go to France for a few days in a secluded villa owned by a member of my family, and thus enjoy our privacy.

"We know France and the French and we know that they are, in principle, respectful of private life, including that of their guests. The clandestine way in which these photographs were taken was particularly shocking to us as it breached our privacy."

The Duke went on to say that the photographs “reminded us of the harassment that led to the death of my mother, Diana Princess of Wales".

The pictures were taken by a long-lens and also showed Kate having suncream rubbed into her by Prince William as well as sunbathing topless on a private terrace at the property.

A representative from Closer magazine revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has demanded €1.5 million damages from his client.

The verdict is expected on July 4th.

She told The Sun: "I’m suing the makers of Celebrity Botched Up Bodies for £750,000 to cover lost earnings."

While she was on the show, the former actress begged to have her teeth redone after a car crash left her relying on dentures.

Doctors were hesitant to do the dental work because of Daniella's 20-cigarettes-a-day habit, but went through with it nonetheless.

Just days later she had to seek urgent medical attention while in the Big Brother house because she had blood poisoning from the newly-implanted veneers.

When she returned to the show she had to explain to Stephanie Davis why she became so angry at her before she went to see the show's doctor.

"I’d just been out to have my veneers done – when that happened. I was worried about infection… I bet you didn’t see that."

In unexpected news, Mel C has threatened to SUE the Spice Girls if they go ahead with a reunion.

The former singer wants to take legal action against Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton if they reunite for the 21st anniversary of the Spice Girls. Ouch.

A source close to Mel told The Sun: "Mel has told the other girls she is consulting lawyers about whether the reunion can go ahead without her.

“She believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her. The other girls are in regular text and phone contact with her.

“There was talk of using the nickname GEM but they’ve decided against that because the strength is through the Spice brand.”

However, the insider added that Victoria is taking the complete opposite approach and told the girls to do their thing.

“Victoria has told the girls to go for it. She’s been really lovely and supportive, which has been a relief to them.”

Uh-oh… We can't see this getting any better anytime soon.

The celebs aren't having the best of weeks… especially in the lead up to Christmas.

Chris Martin arrived back in LA, after doing a number of appearances in Europe, to find out that he is being sued by a photographer who is claiming the singer ran him down with his Jeep.

According to TMZ, photographer Richard Terry is stating that Chris intentionally hit him with his car while leaving a restaurant about a year ago.

The incident was apparently caught on camera by another photographer who was standing across the street at the time.

Richard said that he was outside an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica when he saw Mr Martin and ew-wife Gwyneth Palthrow leaving and getting into a Jeep.

He then states that the Coldplay frontman deliberately turned his car's wheel abruptly to the right, hitting Mr Terry on the path.

In his lawsuit, the pap claims that Chris has "a significant history of repeated and ongoing violent acts against entertainment news people."

He also says that he was upset the rocker didn't stop to see if he was OK.

Vogue Williams has been making a lot of headlines lately, especially with her extremely amicable split from Brian McFadden.

But now something else has put her straight in the headlines, and it doesn't look good.

The model has brought a breach of contract claim to the Circuit Civil Court in Dublin against a popular dental clinic.

Her claim is against the Seapoint Clinic Ltd in Blackrock and is listed for trial in court on January 13.

Vogue alleges that in January 2012, she made an agreement with the clinic for dental treatment – which included the fitting of braces and veneers, replacement of a temporary crown and cosmetic treatment – for an agreed sum of €7,000.

She also claims that she agreed to do an interview with an Irish magazine and a video testimonial promoting the clinic for a discount on the price of her treatment.

The 29-year-old then alleges that after having provided the clinic with the agreed publicity, it sought full payment for her treatment.

But Seapoint Clinic are not backing down and have made a counter-claim against Vogue. They are claiming that Vogue failed to attend a number of scheduled appointments and that it had been put to expense and cost as a result.

The clinic is also saying that Vogue owes them more than €5,000. Ouch.

All is fair in love and war, right? Well, Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, doesn't seem to think so.

Nicki's ex-lover has been very critical about the singer in the past and is not shy about airing his anger towards her. Earlier this year he even released a song, Love the Most, in which he explained how unhappy he was that Nicki hid their relationship from the spotlight.

But now the rapper is claiming that he ghostwrote her 2014 album The Pinkprint. TMZ reports that Safaree is planning to sue the popstar for what he believes is his fair share of profits from the album.

According to the website, Safaree is going to present "a boatload of proof" that he was involved in writing Nicki's music, which includes videos, voice memos and eyewitness accounts.

He also claims that Nicki previously acknowledged his work by giving him credit on her first two albums.

Ms Minaj has yet to respond to the reports, but given their previous history, it won't be long until she speaks her mind.

Taylor Swift is used to making the headlines for her awesome songs and #squadgoals, but if there's something you should really admire about her, it's that she refuses to be disrespected by anyone.

According to the latest reports, Teen Vogue revealed that the singer is demanding a counter-trial against radio DJ David Mueller, who tried to sue the singer after he was fired for allegedly touching her inappropriately during a photoshoot.

For a little bit of background on Mr. Mueller, he had been fired from two on-air radio jobs before this incident and hasn't worked as a radio personality since 2006.

David also admitted that Taylor WAS assaulted that day but claims it was his superior, Eddie Haskell, who groped the singer.

"Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault — it was Mueller — and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit," reads the countersuit.

"Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts."

It sounds like Taylor has already won this one and if she does, she will donate any money to "charitable organisations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard."

How amazing is she?!

Back in 1997, Jennifer Lopez was on honeymoon with her first husband, Cuban waiter Ojani Noa.

During their time together, he shot ‘intimate footage,’ of his new wife – footage which the superstar, understandably, never wanted to see the light of day.

That’s not all, however – Mr Noa is said to have more than 11 hours of personal recordings from their year-long marriage.

Jen has spent much of the last six years (not to mention millions of dollars) legally fighting the release of these videos into the public domain.

But now Mr Noa’s legal representatives claim they have finally found a loophole.

“We are going to produce a DVD and also have a streaming release of the J.Lo home video footage,” Mr Noa’s business partner Ed Meyer stated this week.

“There is revealing video of her with a lack of clothing and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel footage from the honeymoon.”

He added: “The videos contain salacious material and are going to shock her fans.”

According to In Touch magazine, the master tape of all the footage is being held by a court, but Mr Meyer says he and plenty of others have copies anyway.

Almost ten years ago, Ms Lopez also sued her former husband to prevent him from publishing a book about their relationship.

And in 2007, a permanent court injunction was issued forbidding Ojani from “criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging” Ms Lopez.
