Last night saw the Irish premiere of Ex Machina take place in the IFI in Dublin. Niamh Geaney went along to chat to the star of this sci-fi Domhnall Gleeson, along with writer and director Alex Garland, well-known for his writing credits such as The Beach and 28 Days Later. Find out what they had to say.

So what does the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival and Niall Breslin aka Bressie have in common?

The ever popular Fringe Festival has been dominating our streets and theatres in Dublin for the past couple of weeks so we thought we’d better check out one of these productions! The Belle Bottoms is a musical comedy featuring two sassy ladies and their hilarious outlook on what it was like growing up in the 1970’s.

Our Entertainment Reporter Niamh Geaney got chatting to Bressie on his involvement and also to the Musical Director Liam Bates who in the past has worked with the likes of Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi!

As we had Bressie on hand we thought we’d try get him to tell us who is going to fill Dolores’s coaching seat on the Voice, what are these production company rumours we’ve been hearing and if he plans to delve into acting a bit more!

Niamh went along to see the show after and she says if you’re a fan of disco and laughter, it’s for you! The Belle Bottoms is on in the Smock Alley Theatre until Saturday the 20th of September and is also making a spin to Spiegeltent in Wexford from the 29th to the 31st of October.

On this week's Spotlight, Niamh Geaney dropped by the Irish Gala screening of Noble held in the Savoy Cinema in Dublin. Noble has been setting tongues wagging in the film industry since its festival circuit debut so we had to find out what makes this movie so special and why we should see it!

Your Snapshot host and entertainment reporter Niamh spoke to cast members Deirdre O’ Kane (Intermission), Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones), Brendan Coyle (Downtown Abbey), Mark Huberman (Frank) and Sarah Greene (The Guard). She also chatted to the Director Stephen Bradley (Boy Eats Girl) and to the inspirational woman herself, Christina Noble, who has to be one of the most charismatic people she has ever met!

As well as getting the low down on the film we also talked George Clooney on the set of Downtown abbey, what Bradley Cooper is really like and if Dara O' Brian is excited about his upcoming Vicar St. gigs.
