If there's anywhere in the world you wouldn't expect to see a major Hollywood star, it's probably in a remote part of North Dublin.

The iconic Friends actress Courtney Cox has been spotted in Lusk this morning as her musician partner prepares for tomorrow's Snow Patrol gig.

The 54-year-old was snapped picking up a coffee in Applegreen station in the Dublin location, and looked relaxed and chilled out in blue jeans, a navy jumper and sunglasses.

You almost wouldn't recognise her, but these Freshii staff members couldn't miss out on the chance to snap a photo with her.

Applegreen tweeted the snap with the message: "We had a very special ‘Friend’ drop by to Applegreen Lusk North!" Gas.

Courtney's partner Johnny McDaid plays a concert in Bangor, Co. Down tonight as part of the Snow Patrol 'Wildness' tour, and plays Malahide Castle in Dublin on June 7.

The actress, who is famed for playing Monica Geller on the hit TV show, was snapped hanging out with The Hunger Games star Woody Harrelson and X-Men actor James Marsden in Los Angeles earlier this week at Wiltern Theater where Johnny was playing a gig.

Courtney posted a picture to Instagram of herself with three famous friends on Tuesday, captioning the snap; "Great night with this lovable misfits at Snow Patrol concert."

Johnny's band are heading on a string of dates across Europe, and said that the public's obsession with his and Courtney's romance is 'bizarre'.

The couple announced their engagement in 2014, but have yet to tie the knot. He commented: “I think people are curious. I’m often approached from a perspective of people thinking they know something when they don’t.

He continued:

“I think people are curious. I’m often approached from a perspective of people thinking they know something when they don’t. But often it’s just funny. I think I’ve gotten married 15 times in the last year.

“There is a missing part of that equation, I’m on tour at the moment and Courtney is in LA. So it would be really difficult for me to get married unless I do it by proxy or over Skype or something.”

He spoke to the Belfast Telegraph: “It is a bit bizarre but it comes with the territory. I expect the curiosity but I also respect my relationship and my love.”

Courtney and Johnny apparently split up in 2015 but later rekindled their relationship. The Derry rocker was introduced to Cox by Ed Sheeran in 2013, who is a mutual mate.

The actress is already mum to 14-year-old Coco, with ex-husband David Arquette. When she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show, she denied that Johnny was her fiancé.

“We were engaged to be married, but now we’re just together. We broke off our engagement and he moved to England. Then we got back together, and it’s actually better than it was before."

Courteney Cox says she and her boyfriend Johnny McDaid prefer not to put a label on their relationship.

The long-time partners have been dating for nearly five years and are in no rush to get married anytime soon.

The Friends star told People that the word husband is just “a label”. What really matters is their devotion to one another.

“We’re not married. I’m married in my heart,” she said.

The actress, who was previously married to David Arquette, has already done the whole wedding ceremony and said she has realised where the value lies in a relationship.

“We have [a ceremony] every morning when we look at each other,” she explained.

Johnny added to his girlfriend's words, calling her his “best friend” and “partner in everything”.

“When I write her poems, it’s just an extension of how I feel every second anyway, and that’s true for me,” he told the magazine.

Love is all about quality time and the gestures ones show each other, according to the happy couple.

In fact, that is how the pair plan on spending the holidays this season.

Courteney’s 14-year-old daughter Coco will be joining them for a fun, family Christmas – a tradition where the three “hang out, sing songs, play music, eat and drink…and be together.”

Courteney and Johnny are still as head over heels as when they first met and are prioritising what really matters in their love life.

Snow Patrol have announced a huge Irish concert and we can’t wait to go. The popular band are due to play the 3Arena on 11 December 2018.

Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday, June 8, at 9 am, so make sure you set your alarm.

The band recently released their first album in seven years called Wildness.

Wildness taps into something raw and primitive. Lead-singer and songwriter Gary Lightbody says of the album: “There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all its confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness.

Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centered around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it.”

We cannot wait for the band, who are behind songs including Chasing Cars, Run and Just Say Yes, to return to Ireland. They’ll certainly be given a warm welcome at the 3Arena.

The band will also play a string of gigs across the United Kingdom, including a show at Belfast’s SSE Arena on December 7, 2018.

Snow Patrol are officially making a comeback!

The band members have been working on solo projects for the past six years, but now they have their mojo back as a collective.

The Northern Irish quintet are working on a new album, and lead vocalist Gary Lightbody took to Instagram to update fans.

"For the folks asking about the new snow patrol album, #SP7. here’s the news. we had a breakthrough recording session in feb and are on the home straight," he said, captioning a shot of the new album's song list.

"The awesome Jacknife Lee is in the producer’s chair as usual and we have more time with him in the studio in May/June and will be finished at the end of June."

"Hopefully that gives us plenty of time to bring the album out this year. That is the plan. Plans are fallible but we'll damn well try our best."

"There have been a few false starts so I didn’t want to post something until i knew we were on the right track. We are. It’s sounding mighty.

"I’m very proud of what we’ve done so far and cannot wait for you all to hear it. thank you all for your patience and support."

"Six years is a bloody eternity between albums we know so the fact people are still asking when it's coming means a lot to us. We’ll post updates from the studio from late may onwards," finished the post.

We're delighted that the lads are making a comeback, and we can't wait to hear the album this year.

Now, if only they would announce a tour…

Now, this is a wedding we'd want to go to.

We all know wedding bands can be totally hit and miss; some people are into the music and some aren't – but we'd say there wasn't ANY room left on the dance floor at this Irish wedding last weekend.

In one of the greatest musical combinations ever, Ed Sheeran played with Johnny McDaid and his band Snow Patrol on Saturday.

Johnny's younger sister tied the knot in Derry, and Beech Hill Country House Hotel shared a video of the musical stars playing together on the night.

Johnny brought his girlfriend (and rumoured fiancé) Courteney Cox along to the big day, which sparked the news that they were the ones getting married, but the Friends star was simply there to wish Johnny's sister well.

According to Belfast Live, Courteney and Johnny stayed at the family home in Culmore,Derry, and were spotted strolling at Queen’s Quay over the weekend.

It's set to be the Irish celebrity wedding of 2016, but it looks like Courteney Cox's nuptials to Johnny McDaid might be off the cards.

The Friends actress is said to be single again after her Snow Patrol rocker fiancé suddenly "decided" he wanted to end things.

According to Hollywood Life, Johnny has even reportedly moved out of Courteney's Malibu mansion, where he had been living full-time with her and her daughter, 11-year-old Coco.

"They [Courteney and Johnny] were going to counselling because they were having issues and fighting a lot, about everything," an insider alleges.

"He just decided he wanted to separate. He hasn’t really given a reason, but mainly said he wants to focus on his music and can’t take the fighting."

It's true that Johnny has indeed been giving music a lot of attention of late, as he's been back in the studio with his Snow Patrol bandmates to record their seventh album. The Northern Irish rockers took some time in Topanga Canyon at the end of October to lay down tracks with Irish producer Jacknife Lee.

As for Courteney, she is reportedly struggling to stay positive about things after the unexpected split.

"She is really depressed about it…extremely upset. She truly is just miserable about it," the insider says.

The pair were due to marry at the luxurious Ashford Castle in Cong Co. Mayo, although no wedding date had been officially set, with the actress saying things were still in the "planning" stages.

Courtney was apparently very taken with the five-star hotel when she and Johnny visited it as a possible wedding venue in August 2014.

"Johnny took Courteney to Ireland to meet his family and they fell in love with Ashford Castle," a source told The Sun at the time.

"They want to get married there… and have a big bash in LA on a Malibu beach afterwards."

The couple, who were introduced by singer Ed Sheeran, got engaged last summer during a birthday party for the actress' daughter Coco, held at Jennifer Aniston's house.

There's still no news of an official date for Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid's upcoming Irish nuptials, but we're loving all the rumours so far.

And while this latest piece of news might seem a bit off-the-wall at first, we reckon it could definitely be likely to happen.

Singer Ed Sheeran has reportedly signed on to officiate Courteney and Johnny's wedding, standing at the alter on the big day to lead the ceremony.

Having a BFF (or just someone very famous) officiating your wedding seems to be the done thing of late – in fact Courteney's close pal Jennifer Aniston was married by Jimmy Kimmel just a couple of months ago.

And last month Girls actress Allison Williams had Tom Hanks on hand to oversee her wedding to Ricky Van Veen.

Fans of Courteney will know that Ed was in fact the one who set her and Johnny up back in 2013, having introduced them while he was living rent-free in Court's Malibu beach house.

Just last month it was reported that Ed would be present to sing at the wedding, strongly rumoured to be taking place at the luxurious Ashford Castle in Cong, Co. Mayo.

Cougar Town star Courteney is said to have been very taken with the five star hotel when she and Johnny visited it as a possible wedding venue last August.

"Johnny took Courteney to Ireland to meet his family and they fell in love with Ashford Castle,” a source told The Sun at the time.

Usher, officiant or wedding singer… Which is it gonna be, Ed?

Awh! Courteney was spotted out with a huge diamond last night and speculation was rising about whether or not they were actually engaged – we’re delighted it’s true!

The pair were on holiday in Amanyara in Turks and Caicos to celebrate Monica’s – sorry – COURTENEY’S 50th birthday. An eye witness saw the pair out together:

“It was very romantic and a beautiful setting. Courteney looked like there was nowhere else in the world she would rather be and just so happy to be doing what she was doing. Johnny was doting on her, rubbing her leg and passing her a cold towel when she got hot. They seem very happy together and totally in love.”

Courteney and Johnny were first spotted out together at Jennifer Aniston’s party in Bel Air, California, and Ed Sheeran revealed that it was actually him that introduced them!

“I wasn’t allowed to talk about this, actually, but it’s just gone public so… My housemate [McDaid] who I’ve lived with for a year, I introduced him to Courteney Cox. They started dating and [are] crazy about each other.

“I ended up spending a lot of time living in her beach house and therefore bumping into all these random people. We spent Thanksgiving eve at Jennifer Aniston’s before spending the day at Courteney’s.”

Wow, Ed is really hanging out with the right kind of people!

Cougar Town star Courteney Cox has only been dating Snow Patrol‘s Johnny McDaid for about two months, but the couple are apparently already talking about getting hitched.

According to reports, Courteney, who recently opened up about her divorce from David Arquette, “is already talking marriage” and “gushes about Johnny all the time” – we’d gush if we were going out with him too.

The pair are said to be very serious about each other and have been spotted several times looking very loved up.

The handsome couple were set up by no other than Ed Sheeran, who is currently living with McDaid in LA while they work on Ed’s album. T

The Lego House singer said: “They started dating and are crazy about each other and I ended up spending a lot of time living in her beach house and therefore bumping into all these random people. We spent Thanksgiving eve at Jennifer Aniston’s and Thanksgiving day at Courteney’s.”

Wonder if the wedding will take place in McDaid’s hometown of Derry – we’ll keep an eye on the postbox, just in case.
