A photo of Taylor Swift at last night’s Saturday Night Live 40^th Anniversary show is going viral thanks to the rather unusual seating plan.

The pop star was seated next to Sarah Palin, a figure in US politics that is often mocked on SNL and Twitter found the entire situation quite hilarious.

Obviously missing her regular seating buddies such as Lorde, HAIM or Karlie Kloss, Taylor looks less than enthused to be sitting in between Steven Spielberg and Sarah Palin.
