Joanna Chimonides has posted a tearful video online after watching Michael Griffiths admit his feelings for Amber Gill on last night's Love Island.

The ex-Islander was dumped from the show on Monday, and reacted to the firefighter confessing that he can't get his former flame out of his head.

Drama ensued after Michael recoupled with Joanna Chimonides following Amber's stint on Casa Amor, where she remained loyal to him.

Amber was heartbroken after the blow was dealt, and had to experience him treating her like dirt over the next few days while cuddling up to new partner Joanna.

Michael stayed in the villa after Joanna was sent home, which left both the Islanders and viewers confused. Joanna didn't hesitate to call him a "snake" as she walked out the door, without him in tow.

The Essex native took to Instagram Stories to reveal that the episode was "hard to watch".

The firefighter spoke to Joanna's close friend Belle last night about how Joanna was "stand-offish" to him. Belle told Michael that Joanna won't waste her time waiting for him at home, rightfully so.

It's the same trend where as soon as the woman is gone, Michael starts bitching about them behind their backs and acts as if it's totally their fault that the relationship has problems.

Michael later decided to tell Amber how he feels, interrupting new Limerick lad Greg O'Shea's chat with her. The rugby player and solicitor also has his eye on Amber.

As the 27-year-old walks over to tell the Newcastle beauty how he feels, Joanna says;

"So obviously I've had to just pause the TV purely because for me being stand-offish is more me having respect for those in in the villa because someone else is hurting in there," Joanna told her followers during the show, referencing Amber's heartbreak.

"It's hard for me to watch this right now I'm not gonna lie."

A few months ago, Will Smith appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly alongside the stars of Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin, and people had something to SAY.

Basically, he wasn't blue, and this deeply offended the general public. Like, DEEPLY offended. Scuba diving in the Pacific deep.

He took to Instagram to defend himself, writing; "I’m gonna be BLUE! This is how the Genie is in human or disguise form. My character will be CGI most of the movie."

However, during the Grammy's ad-break last night, a new trailer for the movie was released and once again, fans ain't happy.

Disney managed to sneak in a minute-long trailer featuring Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Mena Massoud in the protagonist role. Will Smith's turn as the Genie has EVERYONE talking.

The 50-year-old actor is under a lot of pressure, taking over the reboot role from Robin Williams' iconic performance.

Sharing his own reaction to the trailer release, Will wrote on Instagram: "I told y’all I was gon’ be Blue!! Y’all need to trust me more often!"

When he accepted the role, the actor said: "Whenever you’re doing things that are iconic, it’s always terrifying. The question is always: Where was there meat left on the bone? Robin didn’t leave a lot of meat on the bone with the character."

The 1992 animation starred Robin Williams, and became especially iconic for his role in the voice acting and music.

The memes have already begun flowing in, and we are entertained to say the least.

Even Judge Judy was dragged into the hilarity:

The reactions are pure gas:

Paul Giamatti from the iconic Frankie Munez flick Big Fat Liar was even used:

Viewers weren't READY:

The poor man is getting dragged, by his own Shark Tale character:

We feel a bit sorry for him…

Do you think he deserves all this slagging? We don't think so, but by GOD are we enjoying the memes. Keep 'em coming, people.

Aladdin is set for release on 24 May, so we'll see what the reaction is to the full flick in due course.

With the current charged political climate of #MeToo, which is bringing issues of consent, sexual violence, abuse and harassment to light on a daily basis, it's the PERFECT time for a show like Sex Education.

Netflix' new series is already critically acclaimed with it's standout teenage characters, incredible acting talents and refreshing humour, but what's just as important is the need to face sexuality and it's trials and tribulations at a young age.

The show is tackling imperative issues and somehow manages to be laugh-out-loud funny at the same time, how does it achieve this unique, charming quality?

Sex Education follows Otis Milburn, a socially awkward but sweet-natured sixteen-year-old (Asa Butterfield) and his sex therapist mother, played by the amazing Gillian Anderson.

Otis' school life is filled with iconic characters like Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa), the most GAS LGBT+ character of all time, and misunderstood punk and resident badass Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey).

Middle finger Maeve= our 2019 mood. You heard it here first:

Earlier today, we reported on Kristina Cohen's Facebook post in which she alleges she was sexually assaulted by Gossip Girl actor, Ed Westwick, three years ago.

In a lengthy and hugely detailed account, the actress recalls being held down and raped by the British actor after he digitally penetrated her without her consent in his apartment.

'I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f*ck me,' 27-year-old Kristina wrote.

The post has been widely circulated today, and social media users were quick to use Twitter as a platform to express their thoughts on Kristina's accusations.

Opinion on the post is divided, with some insisting that Kristina's decision to come forward guarantees Westwick will endure a trial by media while others have shown support for the American actress.

For every one tweet supporting Kristina, there is another reminding the public that the issue is a matter for the judicial system.

The actor's Wikipedia page has been edited constantly throughout the day, with contributors branding him 'a rapist' in his biography before others revert it to its original form.

Gigi Hadid found herself at the centre of a social media storm this morning when she was hit with a wave of abuse for her impression of Melania Trump.

While hosting the 44th American Music Awards ceremony in LA last night with impression expert Jay Pharoah, the 21-year-old model openly mocked the future First Lady by impersonating Melania’s “face”, adopting an exaggerated European accent and poking fun at the plagiarism accusations waged at Ms Trump after she appeared to borrow parts of a Michelle Obama speech in July.

“I gotta do the face right,” began Zayn Malik’s girlfriend.  “I love my husband, President Barack Obama and our children, Sasha and Malia.”

Members of Gigi’s star-studded audience laughed quietly at her joke, but those watching the event at home were less than amused.

Many took to Twitter to voice their grievances, with some going as far as to suggest that the impression was “racist”.

“Its racist when Trump says illegals should leave, but not when Gigi Hadid makes fun of Melania Trump’s European accent? #DOUBLESTANDARD (sic),” wrote one person.

“Idiot.  If someone did that to Moochelle they’d be called a racist.  Sorry you’re not as pretty as Melania, Gigi,” said another.

Others criticised the Californian for lacking class in choosing to portray Trump’s third wife.

“A model making fun of a model.  Not classy @GiGiHadid, not classy.  Just silly #AMAs #disappointed,” read one Tweet.

While another group focused on comparing Gigi with Melania through tweets like: “Dear @GiGiHadid, @MELANIATRUMP is 100 percent more beautiful and smart than you will ever be.  How dare you, boycott the #AMAs.”

Since the controversy surrounding Gigi's performance is still gaining pace, we think it'll be a while before this blows over.

As women, we’re advised to be on full alert at all times.

Don’t walk home alone, don’t take shortcuts, don’t accept drinks from strangers.

Like meerkats, we’re meant to be able to spot danger from 50 feet and do our utmost to avoid it.

Instead of providing men with handy pamphlets reminding them not to stalk, attack, rape or murder, women are regularly offered pamphlets on how to stay safe against the men who see us as a handy platform to exert power or express anger.

And for those of you who have given these leaflets even a cursory glance, you'll know we’re told how to raise the alarm and defend ourselves.

We are, in other words, told to do exactly what Gigi Hadid did earlier this week when she was lifted off her feet by a stranger and put in a position of supreme vulnerability.

And despite the 21-year-old reacting in a way which has undoubtedly been drummed into her from an early age, debate has been raised as to whether her response was justified.

Had the incident taken place to a nameless young woman on Dublin’s Middle Abbey St or Cork’s O’Connell St, would radio stations be debating the woman’s actions? No, they wouldn’t.

But because Gigi is in the public eye, makes a lucrative living out of her appearance and leads a life of considerable privilege, she was expected to giggle, bat her lashes and ask to be returned to her feet.

The subtext of today’s debate is as clear as day – Gigi has enough going for her, so what’s the big deal?

Couldn’t she have simply had a laugh with this random man and gotten on with her day? And sure, weren’t her security right there?

Oh, they were there alright, but they were about as much use as Beyoncé in an elevator.

While surrounded by people who were meant to protect her, the model was manhandled, momentarily disabled and ultimately forced to grapple with a strange man in order to ensure she didn’t come to any further harm.

And people are asking if she reacted accordingly? You can be damn sure she did.

And while we'd like to hope Gigi’s actions would have been applauded had they been carried out by a nameless, faceless woman, one can’t help but wonder whether her status as a female celebrity – as opposed to a male celebrity –  played a part in the media’s judgement of her reaction.

Had Jamie Dornan, Ryan Reynolds or Adam Levine been manhandled by a stranger and responded in kind, nobody would be asking if they had behaved accordingly.

Despite the media’s condemnation of rape culture and victim blaming, there is a distinct undertone in today’s narrative that suggests –  when it comes to the crunch – women are still expected to behave in a certain manner.

Nameless woman making her way home, faceless woman on an evening jog, international model leaving a fashion show, if a strange man grabs you you're entitled to lash out – end of debate.

Yesterday the Internet exploded upon learning that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from her partner of 12 years Brad Pitt.

And with early reports suggesting that Brad had been cheating on his wife and that Angelina had grown anxious of her spouse’s approach to parenting, the world quickly began to crave the answer to one other very important question: What does Jennifer Aniston think of this?

Sources close to the former Friends star have reportedly told Us Weekly that while Jen doesn’t wish anything bad on Brad, the news of his latest split has left her feeling a little “satisfied”.

The source alleged that the Mother’s Day actress said “Yeah, that’s karma for you” when discussing the news with a close friend.

And while the 46-year-old did believe that her ex-husband loved the Maleficent star, the source claims “she always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually”.

“She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with,” they continued.  “She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him.  He’s a pretty simple guy.”

Brad and Angelina have been together since 2004 after famously meeting on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

At the time, he was still married to Jennifer who the source says “admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split”.

From her powerful speeches to her admirable charitable efforts Michelle Obama is pretty much First Lady goals and it seems no one is more aware of this fact than Donald Trump’s wife Melania.

The First Lady hopeful gave her first big speech at the Republican National Convention last night and while it was very well received by her audience, critics have since noticed that a number of lines in the address seem to have been lifted from a speech given by Mrs Obama back in 2008.

Speaking in Cleveland, Melania said “from a young age, my parents impressed on me, the values that you work hard for what you want in life. That your word is your bond; that you do what you say and keep your promise. That you treat people with respect” in a statement which sounds suspiciously similar to Michelle’s:  “From a young age, my parents impressed on me, the values that you work hard for what you want in life. That your word is your bond; that you do what you say and keep your promise. That you treat people with respect.”

And in the same part of the speech Michelle said “because we want our children — and all children in this nation — to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work hard for them,” Melania continued:  “Because want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength to your dreams and your willingness to work for them.”

According to The Guardian, this morning Trump’s team denied that the speech was plagiarised with the chairman of the Trump campaign telling CNN that “there’s no cribbing of Michelle Obama’s speech”.

But it seems not all of Camp Trump are on the same page as last night Trump’s speechwriter admitted Melania’s speech contained fragments of other speeches which “reflected her own thinking” before stating that the speech was produced by a team of writers.

This statement is in stark contrast to Melania’s claim that she wrote the speech herself.  Awks.

As with all things Trump, the incident has spurred on some powerful hashtags with #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes in particular throwing up some serious gems.  Check out our favorites below.

Unless you’ve been living under a giant impermeable rock for the last month, you will have been bombarded with PDAs by Taylor Swift and her new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston.

Between “I LOVE T. SWIFT” tank tops and jetting around the world to meet their other halves' parents it feels like TayTom have been together for years – rather than the mere month it’s actually been.

If you’re totally fed up with the happy couple then you’ll be happy to hear you are in very good company as a new picture of Ryan Reynolds has emerged in which the star looks totally tiddled off with Hiddleswift.

The image – which was uploaded to Instagram last night by the Bad Blood singer’s childhood friend – shows Taylor sitting on Tom’s lap looking totally loved up (as usual) while Blake Lively gazes happily at the couple.

But sitting beneath Blake is a very uncomfortable Ryan Reynolds whose face literally says what that world is thinking: “How the hell did we get to this?”

As with all picture perfect moments the Internet is having an absolute field day over the snap.

Take a look:

This video has just brightened up our day as we think we may have come across the Internet's coolest dad.

One California dad has shared a video in which he shows the toy his son chose in the toy store and it is going viral.

In the video, Mikki Willis explains how his son was given two birthday presents which were exactly the same so they went to the return one and choose something else.

His son chose an Ariel from The Little Mermaid doll, and he couldn't be happier. “Now how do you think a dad feels when his son wants to get this?”

Mikki sends a strong message to other parents in the video, saying his sons can choose whatever life they want and that he promises to love and accept them no matter what.

“Choose your expression, choose what you’re into, choose your sexuality, choose whatever,” Willis said.

There is officially nothing cuter than this little girl realising that her dad has created Frozen's Queen Elsa and Princess Anna on a pancake.

As her dad lifts her plate over to her she sees his amazing creation and her face just brightens up in surprise – so adorable!

He then goes on to make Tiana, Jasmine and other Disney favourites using nothing but pancake batter and a squeezy bottle.

We reckon every dad needs this skill – if not just for a reaction like that!

Don't you just wish that some weekday mornings someone would come up to you and say, 'hey, you don't have to go to work today, we're going on holiday instead!"

Well, for this lucky wife it was real as her husband told her to get a bag packed as they were off to fulfil a trip of a lifetime to Europe.

Naturally in disbelief that rather than heading to work she actually has an hour to get packed and grab a plane, she cries and asks her husband for a hug before the video ends.

So. Cute. Can we borrow him?
