Naya Rivera has been arrested on domestic battery charges in West Virginina, following an incident involving her husband, Ryan Dorsey.

According to reports, the former Glee star was arrested on Saturday night after Ryan told police she assaulted him in the presence of their child.

Reporter Kalea Gunderson tweeted: "Criminal complaint states Rivera's husband Ryan Dorsey told police she struck him in the head and bottom lip when they were on a walk with their child."

The same reporter then confirmed that the 30-year-old actress had been released on a $1,000 PR bond and was picked up by by her father-in-law.

The news comes after Naya filed a request for dismissal of divorce paperwork which she originally filed in November 2016.

The couple first dated in 2010 before going their separate ways while Naya rose to fame on musical comedy-drama series, Glee.

They later reconciled and and wed in July 2014.

In their statement about the divorce last November, the couple told PEOPLE, “After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.”

We'll admit that this is a random one, but people on Twitter are totally freaking out about this new couple!

It looks like former Glee star, Naya Rivera, and David Spade are an item.

The Rules of Engagement actor sent fans into a craze when he was spotted in a lavish Hawaiian hotel with Naya.

Half of us feel like it may be an April Fool's joke or for a new flick, but they actually just finished filming a movie together.

An insider told Entertainment Tonight: "They kept to one side of the pool where there was the most covering from prying eyes. Outside of the pool, they sat on lounge chairs and talked.

"They spent about an hour poolside together… They were very happy. They looked pretty comfortable together."

And of course, Twitter lost its sh*t:

Aside from a scattering of high-profile women who deign to admit the reality of the post-pregnancy life, Hollywood would have you believe that A-list stars sail through pregnancy, labour and the months which follow experiencing little more than a subtle stretchmark and a mild case of indigestion.

With that in mind, it's refreshing to hear that one of the entertainment industry's biggest stars is keen to shed light on the various side effects experienced by women after becoming mothers.

Speaking candidly to Elle magazine, Glee star, Naya Rivera, admits that following the birth of her son, Josey, in 2015, she began losing her hair.

Love love loving this updo for @therealdaytime today! Here we go!!!

A post shared by Naya Rivera (@nayarivera) on

"There's a real post-partum hair-thinning issue, and nobody talks about it because women are so embarrassed to admit they're losing their hair. But it's a real problem," the actress told the publication.

In an industry which prioritises appearance over much else, Naya was initially disappointed she didn't experience hair thickening during her pregnancy and then panicked by the sudden hair loss following her son's birth.

"I didn't get crazy thick amazing hair at any point during my pregnancy. I was expecting it, and waiting for it, and it never happened. I was like, "Where is my awesome part of the pregnancy bargain?" I didn't grow some amazing mane," she said.

"On top of that, with the dramatic drop in hormones that comes with breastfeeding, and then not breastfeeding, and the whole birth process, the parts around my scalp were thinning and breaking, and nothing seemed to repair them."

The star, who filed for divorce from Ryan Dorsey in November of last year, sought the help of the Glee crew, but admits there was little they could do for her.

"I would be working 16 hour days, which is normal for TV, and my hair would be in a tight ponytail that whole time. They kept spraying it with hairspray, and when I got home, it looked and felt like dried lasagna."

"Above my ears, it looked like it had been burned off with a hair iron or something. And my scalp was so dry from heat styling," she added.

Nowadays, Naya preempts any damage with a strict routine, saying: "I got to the point where, if I knew I was doing a ponytail day, I would basically coat my hair in coconut oil the night before. And to this day, I'll do that before a ponytail day. Seriously. It requires a lot of prep."

It's pretty refreshing to hear a celeb get real about these issues.

After splitting up with Ryan Dorsey back in 2010, Naya Rivera discovered she was pregnant and made the decision to secretly terminate the pregnancy.

Opening up about the experience in her memoir Sorry Not Sorry, the Glee star hoped her story would come as solace to other women.

"I know some people might read it and say, 'What the Hell?' But I hope someone out there gets something out of it," she explained last month.

"I think it’s always on your mind, and it’s one of those little scars in life," she said. "When I was writing the book, it was really important for me to include that, because this is a part of my story and a part of who I am."

After offering an insight into her take on the situation, Naya has, this week, chosen to share an another aspect of the story – her husband Ryan's reaction to the news.

Having gotten back together and tying the knot, Naya decided to share her secret with Ryan in a decision which she says ultimately brought her much comfort.

Speaking to ET, the actress admitted: "Telling Ryan about the abortion was really nerve-racking.I didn’t know how he would react, obviously."

Without going into too much detail, Naya said: "It had been so many years. He ended up saying, you know, one of the best things that any man in that situation could have ever said."

It seems her husband's reaction to his wife's news confirmed what Naya already knew of their relationship.

"And I think that it’s just a true testament to him and us, and I’m grateful for where we are now."

Naya and Ryan are now parents to one-year-old son Josey.

She became a mum to Josey Hollis Dorsey in September 2015, but this was not Naya Rivera's first pregnancy.

Opening up in her memoir, Sorry Not Sorry, the Glee actress reveals that upon learning she was expecting Ryan Dorsey's child back in 2010, the actress chose to terminate the pregnancy.

While now happily married to Ryan, the actress had, at the time, just ended their relationship and made the decision to seek an abortion without telling Ryan of her pregnancy.

In an incredibly revealing excerpt of her book, 29-year-old Naya reflects on the termination –  which took place a day before filming an episode of the show – and explains that she chose to reveal her decision in an attempt to support other women.

Speaking to People magazine in the run-up to the book's release, she said: "It was very scary to open up about everything, It's not something a lot of people talk about, but I think they should."

"I know some people might read it and say, 'What the Hell?' But I hope someone out there gets something out of it," she added.

Naya, who played Santana Lopez in the hit musical show, married Ryan in 2014 before welcoming their son a year later.

She revealed just weeks before giving birth that she already had an "extreme makeover" style plan for getting back into shape.

And two months on, Naya Rivera's hard work has clearly been paying off. The Glee actress made her first public post-baby appearance in Los Angeles, looking downright incredible in tailored high-waisted trousers and a skintight taupe top.

Naya appeared as toned as ever in her new-mum ensemble, which she topped off with a pair of aviators and her newly-lightened brown hair.

The actress took to Instagram earlier in the week to thank her colourist George Papanikolas for the new look, posting a picture with the hashtag #ThisMamasStillGotIt.

And she couldn't hide her pride last week when she shared the first social media snap of her new son Josey.

Posting a picture of the little one – who she shares with husband Ryan Dorsey – smiling while dressed in a skeleton onesie, Naya wished her followers a happy Halloween.

Trick or treat!

Speaking shortly before welcoming little Josey, Naya admitted she was looking forward to getting back to her old beauty and exercise routine.

"I have an entire post-baby plan that I wrote out and continue to look at every day," she told Yahoo! Style of her motivation for after Josey's birth.

"I definitely need a new hair style – can’t wait for that, my hair has just been so blah – and the workout regimen is gonna be pretty serious.

"I’m just gonna hit restart after, and I think that’ll be fun. It’ll be like an extreme makeover."

Multiple sources have apparently revealed that the actress, 28, gave birth last month. They chose to keep the news a secret for a while as they settled into their new roles. Friends of the couple are reported as saying that the new parents have taken to their new roles with ease:

"Naya was born to be a mother and is doing really great so far," the source says. "And Ryan has amazing paternal instincts and has been waiting on them both hand and foot."

She married Ryan in July 2014 just three months after her engagement to rapper Big Sean was called off. At the time they raised a few eyebrows as they chose to marry on the date that Naya was supposed to marry Big Sean. There were also reports that Naya's friends and family had no idea she was getting married.

The pair then announced their baby news in April with a cute Instagram snap.

The celebrity baby announcements just keep on coming. First up was Joseph Gordon-Levitt, then Kelly Clarkson, and now Glee's Heather Morris has joined the club.

Heather took to Instagram overnight to reveal that she was expecting her second child with her husband Taylor Hubbell.

Posing next to a ruler with the words "The Growing Hubbels" printed on it, Heather cradled her small bump. Dressed casually in a white flowing top and dark jeans, she looked every bit the glowing expectant mum.

Fellow Glee star Naya Rivera was quick to congratulate her friend via Twitter, writing, "SO exciting! Congrats @HeatherMorrisTV #thegrowinghubbells."

Heather and Taylor already have one child together, little Elijah, born in September 2013. The couple tied the knot just months ago with an intimate summer wedding at Old Canyon Ranch in Topanga, California.

The actress started off as a background character in Glee before becoming a lead part in season two. She continued with the show until its fourth season, but decided not to return after her first pregnancy.

However she made a guest appearance in Glee's 100th anniversary episode and also worked with the cast again for the show's final season.

Speaking about motherhood in an interview with E! News last year, the actress said she was enjoying every moment with Elijah. "I love being a mom," she said. "Boys are the greatest."

We can't wait to meet her new arrival.

Rapper Big Sean may have only been dating Ariana Grande for a mere nine months before they cut ties back in April, but he says he learnt a lot from their time together.

Unlike Ariana, who took to Twitter earlier this month to rant about how she hated being objectified and referred to as "Sean's ex", the rapper himself has been reflecting quite positively about their short relationship.

"There are no mistakes in life… there's only lessons," he told Entertainment Tonight reporters at the BET Awards on Sunday night.

When it comes to moving on, Sean says he's happy to take things slowly. "Man, you know, I don't plan relationships," the 27-year-old explained. "They just happen. That's all it is. I'm just…I'm just living it…You know, we just out here doing what we doin'. Feelin' it out."

Ariana and Sean were first rumoured to be dating in August of last year, just a month after the rapper's ex-fiancée, Glee's Naya Rivera, wed another man on the date she and Sean had planned for their own wedding.

Given the messy end to that relationship, it's understandable that Sean and Ariana did not confirm they were actually dating until February of this year, two months before calling it off.

Unusually for a young celebrity couple, the pair made an official statement to the media after their split, with their reps stating that the former couple "both deeply care for each other and remain close friends."

While Big Sean has no set plans for his future relationships, 22-year-old Ariana seems to be going through a pretty steep learning curve at the moment.

Following her message on Twitter about hating being thought of as anyone's "possession," the Problem singer added, "I'm saying this after literally 8 years of feeling like I constantly had to have a boy by my side… After being on my own now for a few months I am realizing that that's just not the case… I have never felt more present, grounded, and satisfied. I've never laughed harder or had more fun or enjoyed my life more."

Brace yourselves, the truth is coming out: Naya Rivera, 28, has managed to land herself a book deal for her tell-all memoir titled Sorry Not Sorry. Set to be released in the spring of 2016, Rivera has promised to spill all the juicy secrets we’ve been dying to hear.

For example (ie the question we've all been dying to have answered), what actually happened between her and her ex-fiancé Big Sean?

Indeed, we've been promised that absolutely nothing is going to be off-limits. Hurrah!

Naya began her career as a waitress with the American restaurant chain, Hooters, before she bagged herself a role on the smash-hit show Glee.

The musical comedy shot Ms Rivera to super-stardom but it also landed her in the headlines because of a reported feud between her and fellow cast member, Lea Michele. So of course we’re dying to see if there’s going to be some insight into that rumoured cat fight.

In a Tweet announcing the book’s release, Naya said she’s going to dish on “Glee, guys, growing up & much more.” Certainly the chapters on her love life are going to be definite page turners.

While happily married and expecting her first child with actor husband, Ryan Dorsey, Naya’s relationships haven’t always ended happily ever after.

Her ex-fiancé Big Sean has called their relationship "craziness" in the past and referred to that period as one of his “darkest times”. Harsh.

He has since apologised to Naya about how he handled the split, according to a source for HollywoodLife.com, who said: “He has some regrets about how everything went down with her, as well as publicly dissing her, and is now trying to make amends.”

Rumour has it that Naya was having none of his apologies though. In a Tweet which the star reportedly later deleted, Naya threw some major shade at her former flame.

Big Sean has also since moved on – dating popstar Ariana Grande for the best-part of a year before their own split earlier this year.

In a statement, Tarcher books announced the memoir will have “candid thoughts on topics ranging from dating… to the challenges of being mixed-race in Hollywood.”

With Naya now starring on the show Devious Maids, she’s definitely going to have even more racy secrets to tell us.

Ariana Grande and Big Sean have been a couple for under a year but they have already parted ways.

The news was confirmed by the pair's reps to Us Weekly today.

"They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” a joint statement from Ariana and Big Sean's spokepeople read. “We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."

A source close to the couple says that the relationship has been over for at least a few weeks, although nothing has been mentioned until now.

As with so many celeb break-ups, the main reason given is their busy timetables. Ariana and Sean "made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year," an insider said.

Both have been quiet about the break-up on social media, although Big Sean did share a cryptic message of support on Twitter earlier this month, writing, "Just know I love you and care for ya."

Could it have been directed at Ariana? She definitely seems to have thought so, as she tweeted herself a few days later to say, "love u babes the most. you just can't imagine."

Before meeting Ariana, Big Sean was engaged to Glee star Naya Rivera, who is currently expecting her first child with Ryan Dorsey. Naya and Ryan married in a shock wedding last July, on the same day she had originally been due to marry Big Sean.

Although rumours of a relationship with Ariana began circulating as early as August 2014, the couple did not officially confirm their relationship until last October.

We're sad to see it's over already!
