Michelle is already mum to 14-year-old daughter Matilda from her relationship with the late Heath Ledger. It is believed her daughter played matchmaker to her mum and the Broadway star.

There's no doubt 2020 is going to be quite the special year for Michelle.

Hollywood is notorious for it's lack of consideration for the importance of equal pay. Actresses have continuously lost out on wages to male co-stars who are contributing the exact same or less to the project than them.

Robert Pattinson has now weighed in on the gender pay gap in Hollywood, claiming that he'd work without pay if it meant securing great actresses. Um, we heart?

The actor signed a #MeToo 'behavioural contract' before signing onto a Netflix original project out later this year. The King also stars Lily Rose-Depp and Timothée Chalamet.

Most famously, Michelle Williams was paid EIGHT TIMES less than Mark Wahlberg for All the Money in the World, and earned just $1,000 for the reshoots. Bear in mind that Mark isn't exactly Oscars material, yet he was given $1.5 million.

The highest-paid actress of last year, Scarlett Johansson, made $198.5 million less than the highest-paid actor, George Clooney.

High-profile Times Up activist Jessica Chastain was given roughly $1.75 million for The Martian, while Matt Damon allegedly earned as much as $25 million. Wow.

Pattinson, who found fame after starring in Twilight, told The Sunday Times;

“If it’s a question of me being paid more and getting a worse actress, or me being paid less and getting a better actress, I’ll do it for fucking free." We stan a Times Up supporter.

He also divulged why he never speaks openly about his romantic life, saying;

"If you let people in, it devalues what love is," he says. The actor is currently dating Suki Waterhouse.

We're guessing he keeps his cards close to his chest, love-wise, since the whole Kristen Stewart cheating scandal. He sounds like a sound feminist lad, one you'd bring home to your granny for sure,

Mental health is a topic that's – thankfully – being slowly but surely unstigmatised in society and the media.

With more people speaking out about their experiences, it is making it easier for us regular folk to ask for help when we know something's wrong.

Former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams is one of those trailblazing celebrities.

A post shared by Michelle Williams (@michellewilliams) on

Taking to Instagram, the 37-year-old shared a post detailing her struggle with depression.

She wrote, ''for years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognise when it’s time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your wellbeing.''

She continued, “I recently listened to the same advice I have given thousands around the world and sought help from a great team of healthcare professionals. Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need.”

Her fans applauded her for sharing with one writing, ''sending you love and light! Thank you for sharing. love love and appreciate you'' while another said, ''take care of you. We will always be here for you.''

Friends of Michelle's quickly responded with messages of love and support for her, with Missy Elliot tweeting out, ''I want to lift our sis up in prayer because there are so many people battling this & many trying to deal with it alone. Please No jokes this is REAL & as human beings let’s keep the ones who are openly dealing with it uplifted & be encouraging to them!''

Michelle has previously spoken out about feeling suicidal during her time with the girl band.

While guest-hosting American chat show The Talk, she revealed that she was depressed from her teens to her 30's.

“I’m in one of the top-selling female groups of all time, suffering with depression,” Michelle said. ''It got really really bad… to the point of I was suicidal […].''

“I was at that place where it got so dark and heavy because sometimes you feel like, ‘I’m not supposed to be feeling this way – what do I do?’ I wanted out.”

Well done to Micelle for highlighting that, pop star or not, no one is immune from mental heath issues.

Huge congratulations are in order as Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams is engaged to pastor Chad Johnson.

The singer revealed that she got engaged last month on March 21, she tweeted, "That time I got engaged March 21st and People is telling y’all alllll about it!!"

People shared her joyous news, sharing intimate details about their relationship. Michelle and Chad are planning on tying the knot this summer.

It's safe to say fans of the Destiny's Child member are happy about her news.

The pair, who have been together for just over a year, met at a spiritual retreat back in the March of 2017.

Chad popped the question last month with a gorgeous 5-carat ring.

Speaking about finding the one, Michelle shared that it's important to remain hopeful, "I do think you should not focus so much that if you’re not in love that you get depressed about it. … Just don’t lose hope. But definitely, be doing what you can do to make yourself a better person for the person that possibly is on the way for you.”

We are thrilled for the happy pair!

Earlier this week, it was reported that Mark Wahlberg was paid $1.5 million for a 10-day reshoot of Ridley Scott's All The Money in the World, while his co-star, Michelle Williams, was paid just $80 a day.

Some 22 scenes needed to be reshot after Kevin Spacey, who was originally lined-up to star in the film, was accused of sexual harassment by a number of young males.

Ridley made the immediate decision to re-cast Christopher Plummer in the leading role, resulting in a 10-day reshoot at the cost of $10 million.

However, reports of a huge pay discrepancy between the male and female co-stars sparked huge backlash online and across the media.

In the wake of the controversy, Mark Wahlberg has pledged to donate his earnings from the reshoot to the Time's Up campaign – an initiative fronted by some of Hollywood's most influential female stars to help those that have suffered sexual abuse or harassment in the workplace.

The actor made the announcement in a tweet posted on Saturday, saying: “Over the last few days my reshoot fee for All The Money in the World has become an important topic of conversation.”

“I 100 per cent support the fight for fair pay and I'm donating the $1.5M to the Time's Up Legal Defence Fund in Michelle Williams' name."

The tweet has since been liked and shared over 40,000 times.

In addition, talent agency William Morris Endeavor, who represent both Williams and Wahlberg, said they would donate an additional $500,000 to Time’s Up.

Gender pay gaps in the entertainment industry (or any industry for that matter) are sadly nothing new, but the sheer scale of the latest discrepancy has left people furious.

It's been reported that Michelle Williams was paid just $80 per day to reshoot scenes for Ridley Scott's All the Money in the World – less than one per cent of Mark Wahlberg's reported fee of $200,000 per day.

The film had originally starred Kevin Spacey, however after a series of allegations emerged claiming that the star had sexually harassed a number of young males, Ridley made the immediate decision to re-cast Christopher Plummer in the leading role.

As a result, a total of 22 scenes needed to be reshot over the course of 10 days at the cost of $10 million.

An report published in The Washington Post last November reported that Mark Wahlberg had been paid “at last $2 million” for the extra work, while Michelle Williams was paid “a figure in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

This claim was later rubbished by the director to told the publication that “everyone did it for nothing,” adding, “they all came in for free.”

However, a tweet from Melissa Silverstein has raised the question of payments once again, with claims that Michelle took home a tiny fraction of her co-star's salary.

“On the day after display of female power at the #goldenglobes, I learned that there was an egregious pay gap between Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg for the All The Money In The World reshoot,” she wrote.

In an article published today by USA Today, three people “familiar with the situation but not authorised to speak publicly” said Wahlberg was paid $1.5 million in total for the reshoots and Williams was paid just $80 per day, less than $1000 in total.

Needless to say, the news has sparked outrage across the Twittershpere.

Last Sunday marked the 9th anniversary of Heath Ledger's untimely passing in January 2008, and with almost a decade to reflect on her partner's death, Michelle Williams reveals that her outlook on life has altered considerably.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, the acclaimed actress, who starred opposite Heath in Brokeback Mountain, explained that in the aftermath of Heath's passing, she understandably struggled with the implications of moving on with her young daughter, Matilda.

"At that time, I was inconsolable, because I felt, 'How will he be able to find us?’" she told the publication. "This is where we lived, and he won't know where we are. And now I can't believe I thought that."

Turning her attention to the future, the star, who rose to fame on Dawson's Creek, reveals that the heartbreaking experience has left her with a practical view of relationships and motherhood.

"It's hard to romanticise romance when you're 36. When you've been a parent for 11 years and you've done it alone, you don't have romantic ideals, because you have a practical understanding that you can do it by yourself."

Having lost Heath at the age of 28, the mother of one explains that his passing eradicated certain ideals she had internalised from a young age.

"The romantic idea of meeting your person and having a storybook family life that looks like the model you grew up with – that doesn't really exist for me."

Heath and Michelle began dating in 2004 and their daughter was born the following year.

They are rarely seen together, in fact the last time all three members of Destiny's Child were together was at the Superbowl half-time show in 2013.

But last night, the gal pals were out in force for Kelly's 35th birthday.

Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams all wore their Sunday best as they posed for pictures in Sunset Tower Hotel, Hollywood.

Also at the birthday gathering was Bey's mother, Tina and her sister Solange as well as PLL star Bianca Lawson and Rob Kardashian's ex Adrienne Bailon.

Kelly shared all the fab snaps on her Instagram page, and we just love seeing the girls let loose and having a good time.

All we're hoping for now is a Destiny's Child world tour. High hopes, we know

It's official. Beachy blondes are out and cool platinum tones are in.

Instead of trying to emulate sunkissed golden hues when the Irish summer lasted all of five seconds, why not embrace winter and go for an all-over icy blonde?

Jennifer Lawrence stunned on the red carpet this month as she unveiled her new blonde 'do, but she is just one of a long list of stars embracing the high-maintenance colour change this year.

Here are the girls who did it right. Could you join the pack?

Jennifer Lawrence

Bye-bye brunette Katniss. Jen said goodbye to her work on The Hunger Games by totally changing up her look, opting for a new platinum shade instead of her usual sandy blonde.

Caroline Flack

Thank you @gemflossy for making funny wonky face not as wonky as normal

A photo posted by caroline (@carolineflack) on

Halfway through this year's X Factor, Caroline surprised us with a peroxide blonde 'do. Posting pictures of herself in the hair salon, she described the look as "fully fledged non rooted blonde."

Considering a copycat look? Head to the salon. As the style requires an all over intense bleach rather than just highlights, going to a professional will ensure your hair stays in tip top condition.

Rita Ora

Rita's trademark has always been her platinum blonde hair and a red lip, but even so she has often embraced her natural dark roots as part of her look.

This year, however, she ditched the dark tones and chose an all-over intense blonde.

Naomi Watts

Naomi debuted this very high fashion look at the Armani Privé show in Paris this summer, giving up her natural highlights for a striking peroxide finish.

Michelle Williams

Michelle always favoured blonde tresses, but when she stepped out with this intense almost white blonde shade back in May, we absolutely fell in love.

Kim Kardashian

How could we forget the shocking, albeit short lived, hair transformation of Kim K earlier this year? Arguably the look that started it all, we definitely lost our minds over this drastic change.

Attention all shoppers:

If you can fly over to London any time soon, then you just might be able to get your hands on some Louis Vuitton – for absolutely nothing.

That's thanks to their Series 3 Exhibition, which opened last night and saw stars Selena Gomez, Michelle Williams, Alexa Chung and Poppy and Cara Delevingne on the guest list.

The real star of the night though, was a wall full of stickers – but these aren't your ordinary children's playbook stickers.

Each one is branded with a LV logo and features a designer bag or shoe.

These are the Vuitton goods that are up for free, but the exhibition is quite strict on handing them out and only two stickers can be given to one person.

So if you have any free time between now and October 18, fly over and raid their free-for-all wall.

After all, if you can't afford a real speedy, a giant sticker one will have to do!

Is she or isn’t she? It seems to be the question on everyone’s lips – is Beyoncé pregnant with her second child?

The singer sparked rumours of a pregnancy when she shared a photo of herself buried in sand with what looks like a baby bump on Instagram.

A photo posted by Beyoncé (@beyonce) on

The snap soon hit headlines and everybody assumed this was her way of announcing the exciting news.

But now Beyoncé’s friend and former bandmate, Michelle Williams, has all but burst our bubble, denying that her friend is pregnant on The View earlier today: “You know when she was pregnant people said she wasn’t pregnant and you know, it’s just truth to it. Sorry!”

However, the ladies on the panel weren’t giving up hope just yet, and drew Michelle’s attention to the clear bump made out of sand that may have been Bey’s big hint.

However, the former Destiny’s Child singer wasn’t having any of it, saying: “First of all, if you look at the picture, the baby bump is like where her knees probably really are so that it really. All these allusions, just stop it, stop it, too many things.”

Alright, alright Michelle, we’ll stop…but it really does look like a hint, doesn’t it?!

It has been reported that Michelle Williams and Jason Segel are seeing each other again!

The cute couple ended their one year relationship in February of last year as Michelle felt Jason wasn’t ready to commit.

However, it looks as if this may all have changed as the pair were spotted at a restaurant in Rome, Italy recently.

Jason was also said to be very close to Michelle and Heath Ledger’s daughter, with many photos of them out and about together.

Hmm, we really loved these two together, we hope they reunite!
