Christmas shopping has left my bank account looking pretty tragic so I’ll be spending my Friday night at home.

Luckily, I’ll be pleasantly entertained with dozens of shows and movies airing on the TV across the weekend.

As usual, I will be tuning into The Graham Norton Show which never fails to make Friday nights that little bit better. The chat show is bound to cheer us up on this quiet Friday with another stellar line-up.

The Corkman will be joined by the legend that is Judi Dench, who will chat about her iconic career.

Hugh Grant also joins Graham on tonight’s show and we’re eager to see what the Notting Hill actor says about those election results. He will be promoting his new movie The Gentlemen.

And that’s not all.

Christmas crooner Michael Bublé is appearing on the show.

And there’s more.

Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey, who stars alongside Grant, will join his co-star to discuss their movie The Gentlemen.

There will be music from Coldplay who will perform their new song Everyday Life.

The Graham Norton Show airs on BBC1 at 11.25pm.

Matthew McConaghey is spreading his wings and branching out by joining his old university as a professor, no less.

The actor and producer is set to start working in the Radio-Television-Film department at the University of Texas at Austin in September and will teach a class on script to screen film production.

He's been teaching the class at the university since 2015 with director Scott Rice after the actor developed the curriculum looking at the stages of film production from behind the scenes.

He said: "It's the class I wish I would have had when I was in film school. Working in the classroom with these students gives me a chance to prepare them.

"Making movies, turning words on paper into film, is both a science and art – no matter the time or generation. The elements of truth and genuine joy for the process are timeless. That will always be our classroom focus."

The 49-year-old graduated in 1993 with a film degree from the university, and went on to win an Oscar for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. The McConaissance is real, gals.

The actor is renowned for his roles in The Wolf of Wall Street, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and TV series True Detective.

Noah Isenberg, chair of the Department of Radio-Television-Film at the university, said: "He has a passion for teaching, and for all things cinematic, that is palpable, even infectious."

Jay Bernhardt, Dean of Moody College, where McConaughey will work, said: "We are proud to welcome Professor McConaughey to officially join our world-class faculty.

"Matthew cares deeply for our school and our students, and we are thrilled that he shares his time and talent to help prepare the next generation of media leaders and innovators."

Hold on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen, because yet another nostalgic movie from the early noughties is coming back with a bang.

The 2003 romantic comedy How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days is returning to our screens in the form of a reboot, and we are LEAPING for joy.

The flick starred Kate Hudson as a magazine journalist tasked with driving a man away, and Matthew McConaughey as an advertising executive who must make a woman fall in love with him respectively.

Writer Guy Branum, who previously worked on The Mindy Project, confirmed he was working on the project as a TV series for new streaming service Quibi.

Branum wrote to his followers on Twitter about the momentous task;

"We were all certain you could not make a good romantic comedy anymore because print media is dead and com-com ladies have to work at magazines (we feel seen).

"…but against the tides of history, Quibi & Paramount have agreed to let me re-write How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days."

He added; "I will be observing and consulting numerous photos of shirtless Matthew McConaughey to properly research this task."

This was the handsome actor's pre-'McConaissance' days, remember?

The show will centre on a “glib young online columnist and an oversexed advertising executive who both need to prove, once and for all, they’re capable of being monogamous.

"They soon discover, however, keeping a relationship is harder than Andie Anderson made it look.” GASP. Inject this glorious 2000s content into our veins, we dare you.

We're gagging to see Branum breathe new life into the iconic rom-com, which cemented Hudson and McConoughey's status as the genre's king and queen.

Plus that yellow dress, how could we forget it? The giant gem on her neck also still slaps.

Alright, alright, alright (sorry, I had to).

In unexpected news of the day, Matthew McConaughey has had a YouTube account for the past TWO years.

For unknown reasons, not a lot of people seem to know about this – until this week that is.

During the week, Redditor user S1icedBread revealed Matthew's account to the world.

He shared a thread titled 'Matthew McConaughey has a Youtube channel that nobody watches' AND HE WAS RIGHT.

AND IT'S GAS.

Matthew vlogs about random things, like his day and what's in his bag (hilarious), but mostly, he vlogs to ask people to help charities.

What a sound lad.

It seems that every celeb in the world is either covering Adele's Hello, or spoofing it – but this spoof may just come out on top of all the rest.

Matthew hosted Saturday night's SNL and was joined by cast members Beck Bennett, Jay Pharoah, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon and Vanessa Bayer in lip-syncing Hello every time an argument broke out in the video.

The sketch soon develops into a full-on parody of Adele's music video, complete with a full-on wind machine:

When it came to Matthew McConaughey's Dolce & Gabbana campaign, he decided to make it a true family affair.

The actor is the face of the new fragrance and appears on the front label of The One Eau de Parfum for Men. But he wasn't the only star of the photoshoot as his two children, Vida and Levi posed alongside their father for the new scent, which "celebrates the joy of family life," according to Dolce & Gabbana's Instagram.

Matthew has been a brand ambassador for The One range of fragrances since 2008 and over the years we've seen him in campaign after campaign (clean shaven or otherwise).

But we think this latest campaign is probably our favourite yet.

32-year old Emily Blunt has passed her US citizenship test and told Jimmy Kimmel that she is now sort of excited to be an American.

Jimmy expressed is delight at Emily was “one of us now”, giving Emily pause to consider their friendship up until now. He explained that he felt like he wasn’t ever proper enough to be friends with her, because British people are super posh, apparently.

"When people come here from England they kind of look down their noses at us,” he explained. To which Emily agreed, but added that now she’s “only half better,” then other Americans.

The talk show host went on to ask the Sicario actress about the big day.

She said it was actually the “most bizarre day,” describing it as “strange and disarming.”

As it turns out, Emily is not sure she is entirely delighted about the whole thing. Possibly because she had to renounce Queen Elizabeth:

“They’re like, ‘Just say it, you don’t have to mean it, but just say it.’”

The hardest part about the whole endeavour was apparently the US citizenship test. “I guarantee most Americans would have no idea how to answer any of these questions," she warned.

One thing that did make her feel more comfortable though, was having some celebrity pals come along for support.

On the same day, Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camila Alves was sworn in too. Emily revealed that Matthew showed up on the day in his typical casual fashion. While his wife looked amazing (when does she not?) Matthew apparently looked like he “was going on a safari.”

Matthew McConaughey was gushing over his wife, Brazilian born Camila Alves on twitter.

While it is not a terribly uncommon occurrence to hear the McConaughey spouses speaking so highly of each other, Matthew had a very special reason to celebrate yesterday.

The usually private actor shared a very cute snap on social media to welcome his wife to the U.S as an official citizen.

The 33-year old model and mom of three children was spotted in a U.S courthouse after she received her official citizenship.

She said: “First day back and look what I just went thru. It is with great pride and honor that I am happy to say I now hold an American passport!”

When Camilla first arrived in the U.S she worked as a maid before she and Matthew married in 2012. The couple are parents to three children; Levi, Vida and Livingston.

In 2013 Camilla said that when she first moved from Brazil she could speak very little English at 15 years old but after years of hard work she managed to get her career in modelling to take off.

The former World’s Sexiest Man Alive titleholder Matthew seemed to be a very proud husband indeed as he wrote his welcome message for his nearly 2 million followers to see.

Not another one! The news of Ben and Jen is still too fresh for us to handle any more celebrity divorces.

But unfortunately, rumour has it that Matthew McConaughey's marriage to his model wife Camila Alves may be in trouble.

The couple have been married since 2012 (they've been dating since 2006) and have three children together.

But, according to OK! magazine there may be seriously trouble in paradise.

“He’d rather she focus on family life,” the insider told the publication. “At this point, they have major problems to work through.”

While Matthew has become one of the biggest and most revered actors in Hollywood, few people know that his Brazilian wife has also been making a name for herself as a fashion designer.

The mother of three is the designer of MUXO by Camila Alves and she has put a lot of time and effort into making a brand for herself.

However, it was only two months ago that the Dallas Buyers Club actor gushed about how happy he is with Camila in an issue of Haute Living.

“Now I get to wake up next to someone who I know loves me the way she does – my wife – who gave birth to our three beautiful, healthy children,” the actor said.

The 45-year-old True Detective star has always been amazingly sweet when discussing his family life so whatever the problems are, we REALLY hope that these two can work them out.

Because we are not looking forward to adding them to the long list of celebrity couples we wish were still together!

Matthew McConaughey has undergone some seriously impressive transformations over the last couple of years – first as AIDS activist Ron Woodroof in Dallas Buyers Club and then as alcoholic former police officer Rust Cohle in True Detective.

His new look makes it easy to forget that Matthew was once just your standard surfer boy hottie. So we're loving this throwback Dazed and Confused audition tape from the early Nineties, featuring Matthew with his long-forgotten wavy blonde locks.

Those were the days!

The audition might seem like a bit of fun, but it's important to remember that Dazed and Confused pretty much kickstarted Matthew's entire career… so we're thanking our lucky stars that he didn't mess up his lines!
