London Fashion Week

Una hasn't had an easy few weeks.

Her ex-husband Ben Foden admitting to his infidelity last week, but instead of dwelling on it, the former Saturdays singer stormed the runway at London Fashion Week and turned every head.

The 37-year-old appeared in Oxfam's Fashion Fighting Poverty Catwalk Show at Ambika 3 last night, showing off her fashionista roots.

She captioned her Instagram post;

"It was a real honour to walk the Oxfam #fashionfightingpoverty fashion show as part of London fashion week this evening", showing herself in a black svelte outfit with a plunging neckline. She's looking FIERCE.

The mum-of-two sported gorgeous black boots and loose black trousers, with her hair styled simply and tucked behind her ears. Very Parisian chic, we feel.

She flashed a smile at the end of the catwalk, showing her excitement at representing the iconic charity in their fashion foray.

The glamorous Irish star could easily pursue a modelling career, she looks like she was born on the runway. We're glad she didn't let her ex-husband's confession dampen her moment.

In a recent interview, Ben admitted that he cheated on Una, but also claimed his infidelity wasn’t the only reason for the end of the relationship.

"At the moment anything that’s published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so because I was the one who committed adultery. But at the same time, it wasn’t the only reason for our divorce to go through."

"It’s not ideal, but we’re very amicable, we’re getting through it, we’re not the first people in the world to get divorced. We’ve got two little kids we adore," he concluded.

Una is since loved up with her new boyfriend, Tipperary hurler David Breen, and appears unfazed by her ex.

She's absolutely slaying the fashion runway anyway, and for an unreal cause. Herself and fellow singer Emeli Sande walked alongside supermodels as they took to the catwalk for Oxfam’s show to highlight sustainable fashion.

The musicians joined top models Stella Tennant and Laura Bailey at the Fashion Fighting Poverty event, showcasing Oxfam clothes specially picked by stylist Bay Garnett from the organisation’s online and high street shops.

Fair play, gals.

London Fashion Week 2018 is not know for having breast pumps on it's catwalk but that all changed when model Valeria Garcia stepped onto it.

The mother-of-two took to the runway clad in the world's first wearable breast pump, underneath a black bra and trouser suit at the Marta Jakubowski fashion show.

The pump has been designed to be put inside the bra and enable women to express the milk silently and privately –  no matter where they are.

Valeria, who gave birth to youngest son Anton in June, wore a hi-tech pump which connects to a smartphone app.

It is fantastic that breastfeeding is being normalised in this way and that new mothers don't have to worry about being uncomfortable in public – it's an important step towards the future.

Valeria's statement is not the first of it's kind – model Mara Martin breastfed her five-month-old daughter on the runway while modelling Sports Illustrated swimwear earlier this year.

These two pictures might be my favorite ones of last weekend! There is more than one message that we all can take from these. One being, I hope to normalize breastfeeding because it’s a natural thing women can do for their babies. I think women should be able to feed their babies how they want, when they want and where they want. End of discussion! Another message I hope comes out of this is that women need to be confident in themselves no matter what. There is no one shape, size, age, or ethnicity that defines beauty. We are all beautiful! Look at the final 16 girls that were chosen. All different. All beautiful. Thank you @si_swimsuit and @mj_day for celebrating that year after year. Lastly, never give up on your dreams and goals, even when it may seem like there are many barriers in front of you at times. You are stronger than you think! We can do it all! So my #wcw today is every woman out there!!!! WOMEN CRUSH WEDNESDAY! 1st: @quinn_willoughby 2nd: @theimagesniper #girlpower #siswimsearch #normalizebreastfeeding #bodypositivity

Great news for animal lovers and high fashion fans.

This season, London has become the first main fashion week to eliminate real fur from the catwalks.

According to a survey carried out by the British Fashion Council, none of the designers showcasing their pieces intend to use fur.

Image result for catwalk

PETA urged the British Fashion Council to make the move, saying: 'Nowadays, the majority of people wouldn’t be seen dead in fur.'

'Our poll of designers with a show or presentation at the February 2018 London Fashion Week revealed that 95 per cent – including Burberry and Mulberry – didn’t use fur in their autumn/winter 2018 collections.'

'Many top international designers – including Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Calvin Klein, Gucci, Armani, and others – are 100 per cent fur-free.'

Since 2005, designer brand ASHISH has been a London Fashion Week favourite, breaking barriers with aptly-timed slogans and brash, stand-out collections.

And now, the brand is breaking barriers once again by teaming up with River Island Design Forum for a gender-neutral clothing line.

The 15-piece collection is sure to be a sell out as it includes playful over-sized jumpers, embroidered pyjamas, and sequin dresses.

The creative director and founder of ASHISH, Ashish Gupta, said that he wanted the collection to be "something lazy and a bit dreamy," which we're all for.

With slogans such as 'sick of all this chic' and 'doom and gloom', ASHISH is staying close to its roots for the high street shop's first ever gender-neutral line.

Ashish coined the collection as "something relaxed enough to slouch around the house in, yet stylish enough to be taken out."

The collection will debut at London Fashion Week in September, with the garments being available to buy online straight after.

Prices will start at €40 and go up to €240.

On Monday night, top model Jourdan Dunn was at LouLou’s nightclub in Mayfair to join the likes of Cara and Suki for a star-studded fashion bash.

Unfortunately for this Victoria’s Secret model however, things did not go according to plan.

A photo posted by Jourdan Dunn (@officialjdunn) on

On her way out of the venue a model and her friend were surrounded by paparazzi trying to get a shot of the pair.

As they tried to make an exit from Love Magazine’s Fashion Week party the 25-year old’s pal got on the wrong side of one photographer and the two ended up coming to blows.

In a video posted by TMZ, the model can be seen trying to stop her friend from engaging with the paparazzi but it clearly did not work out well.

While it is not clear from the video what started the fight, it does become pretty clear how it all ended, with one photographer on the ground and Jourdan hopping into a car for a quick exit.

The name of Jourdan’s friend is not known although some media outlets speculate that he could be a publicist.

However he didn’t appear to be at her side earlier in the day when she attended the Burberry show at Kensington Gardens.

Also spotted at the party, but decidedly not in the same video, was Princess Eugenie. The royal was seen arm in arm with Cara Delevingne as they left the party alongside actress Clara Paget.

Last weekend marked London Fashion Week, where Cara and St Vincent were the couple of the moment and plenty of designers showcased their Spring/Summer collections for 2016.

One of our favourite things about fashion week, aside from the celebs and all of the fabulous designs being paraded down the runway, is the street style. The fashion-crowd are pretty easy to spot on their way in and out of shows and there are always so many of them.

Hannah Ewens of Vice realised that it was beginning to feel like anyone with a smartphone who was able to use #OOTD could be a fashion blogger. So, she decided to set herself a challenge at last year's London events:

“Spend €13 a day on the three dumbest outfits I could put together – one each for Friday, Monday and Tuesday – and see if I could get papped by one of those [fashion] people.”

As it turns out, trying to find a LFW appropriate outfit on such a tight budget can be tricky. So Hannah actually resorted to digging through skips at one point.

Her purple fuzz and phone charger ensemble seemed to do the trick though. She caught a few photographers attention outside one venue and they were curious about where she got her ‘pieces’.

“I told them most of my outfit was vintage Vivienne Westwood, because she's the only one I know.

They all nodded enthusiastically, and one man said: "Oh yes, I remember this bag. A big one that year."

She also noted that the posing thing is not as complicated as people would have us believe: “All I had to do was tilt my head down, smile coyly and slump, with my hand resting wherever felt sassiest.”

While she did have her picture taken by plenty of photographs she thought she had fooled, Hannah was only mildly disappointed to discover they didn’t feature on any serious fashion sites.

Just two months ago, model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne was forced to deny rumours of relationship troubles between herself and girlfriend St Vincent.

But today the stunning couple let their actions do the talking, as they sat front row at the Burberry Prorsum SS16 show in London.

The pair, who have been together since last summer, looked completely besotted with one another throughout the fashion show, which they attended in matching black Burberry cut-out dresses.

Whispering into one another's ears, Cara and her girlfriend (real name Annie Clark) couldn't have looked any more in love.

Of course, Cara wasn't only focused on her girlfriend, taking time to chat and laugh with some pretty high profile FROW-mates, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.

Back in June, Cara took to Instagram to tell her followers she was "very much in love" with Annie, after some cryptic messages about heartbreak on her social media feeds led people to think a break-up was imminent.

And she drove the point home in a Vogue interview published just weeks later, describing her relationship with the singer as "a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days."

Despite Cara's contentment now, she admitted it took her some time to embrace the fact that she was in love with a woman.

"It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognised that I had to accept it,” she said.

We're delighted to see the couple looking so happy together.

The all-natural, less is more look can sometimes be a difficult one to master, but this tutorial makes it simple.

As the official make-up brand backstage at the Joseph AW15 show at London Fashion Week, Estée Lauder have offered an insight into how the models' gorgeously fresh look was created.

"The inspiration is very rustic, organic and bohemian," says the show's key make-up artist Lynsey Alexander. "There doesn't appear to be a lot of makeup, but every element is considered. Skin is gorgeous, luminous and radiant. These girls are fresh from New York Fashion Week so great skincare is key."

Lynsey also revealed which products she used to give the models their effortless look.

She began by prepping the skin with the Estée Lauder Cyber White mask and DayWear moisturiser, before applying the brand's Illuminating primer and Perfectionist foundation. "I love this foundation – it mimics skin texture and looks like real skin," says Lynsey.

"We polished it onto the face and the result is a healthy and luminous complexion."

For the models' "young and flirty" glow, Lynsey mixed together two shades of Estée Lauder's Pure Color blush, using Peached Passion and Lover's Blush for the perfect look. For some extra radiance, the BB Glow brush-on highlighter pen was applied on top.

To enhance the cheekbones and brow bones, Lynsey used the new Pure Color Envy lip balm. "With bleached brows, sometimes the look can be quite harsh. But this skin and makeup brings the femininity and beauty right back," she says.

The look was finished with Pure Color Envy in Insatiable Ivory on the lips, and Double Wear Stay In Place pencil in Pearl for the eyes, with the new Little Black Primer applied at the roots of curled lashes for extra definition.

All products are available from Estée Lauder stockists nationwide. We can't wait to try this look out!

It looks like Kendall Jenner is getting in there with the big names of the fashion industry.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star bagged a front row seat next to Anna Wintour at Topshop’s Unique fall 2014 presentation yesterday.

This is a huge deal for the 18-year-old beauty, as it would be for any youngster who aspires to make it in the fashion world.

She even shared her excitement with her Instagram fans as she wrote: “front row at @topshop #excited.”

No one can deny that Kendall is quickly becoming a fashion insider at this stage, as she even hit the runway for Marc Jacobs’ Autumn collection earlier this month.

She’s definitely becoming the one to watch – we wonder how Kim is going to handle this!
