Twitter is awash with tributes today with the news that singer and reality TV star Lil' Chris has reportedly passed away age 24.

Lil' Chris – real name Chris Hardman – found fame at 15 when he was featured on the Channel 4 documentary Rock School, and has since had a number of TV and theatre roles.

The circumstances around Chris' death have not yet been confirmed.

The last tweet from the musician, posted on March 18th, was full of positivity and read, "Good morning everybody! Lovely day! Love you all x"

Chris' friends and fellow musicians have been expressing their sadness at the sudden and tragic loss:
