Following a number of serious allegations levelled against Harvey Weinstein in recent weeks, the 65-year-old movie mogul was dismissed by The Weinstein Company – a production company the New York-native founded with his brother, Bob, in 2005.

Yesterday, Weinstein filed a lawsuit against the company to gain access to emails which he argues 'exonerates' him from a number of the accusations levelled against him.

Weinstein reportedly believes that the emails contain information which will ultimately help him to find a wrongful dismissal case in court.

The claim reads: "Mr Weinstein believes that his email account – which is the primary, if not only, account he used during the term of his employment by the company – will contain information exonerating him, and therefore the company, from claims that may be asserted against him or the company."

"Mr Weinstein seeks no more than to be able to have access to the same information as his brother does to prevent further harm to the company," the claim continues.

Dozens of high-profile women have spoken out against the Hollywood heavy-hitter this month, with many claiming they had been sexually harassed, assaulted or raped by the father-of-five.

They were only married for 18 months, but it seems Cheryl still has her claws dug in to Jean Bernard Versini.

The singer is in the middle of a legal bind with the restaurateur which forbids him to talk about their relationship to anyone.

The former couple are going through a "protracted separation," and Cheryl was afraid Jean Bernard would start to talk about her to the media as she's taking on numerous projects at the moment and it would be bad for her rep.

The Sun reports that the French businessman wants to tell his side of the story.

"JB just wanted to have the freedom to speak but he knew that he couldn't fight against Cheryl's lawyers," an insider told the publication.

"He doesn't have the money for a long drawn out legal battle and Cheryl is adamant she doesn't want him to speak about their relationship."

It doesn't look like easy days are ahead for Irish airline Ryanair and tech giant Google.

Ryanair announced that they are taking legal action against the Internet firm as well as their sister online travel website eDreams, accusing them of misleading customers to wrong prices and not offering the best deal.

“We’re launching legal proceedings in the Irish High Court with Google and eDreams,” airline boss Michael O’Leary said at a London press conference.

He also revealed that he and his company started legal proceedings yesterday.

Michael said Google was not providing correct Ryanair prices and also claimed that eDreams was making-up websites which included the word “Ryanair” to mislead its customers.

“It’s the deception we have a problem with, not the advertising,” said Mr O’Leary.

It's good news for Taylor Swift this week as she has finally settled one of her major lawsuits.

In May, fashion retailer Lucky 13 claimed that Ms Swift copied its trademark look onto a collection of cotton t-shirts sold by the singer.

But now, Tay Tay has avoided any legal depositions which means the scheduled trial date in January 2016 has been cancelled.

Lucky 13 argued that Taylor's "permanent or temporary tattoos and her marketing herself as liking fast cars and dangerous men who drive them inappropriately, as demonstrated by her I Knew You Were Trouble music video", "undeniably and squarely fits within the exact consumer demographic to whom Lucky 13 markets and sells its Lucky 13 goods," reports The Fashion Law

Sounds a bit silly, right?

In August, Taylor claimed that Lucky 13 was harassing her, which seems to have resulted in this week's agreement.

But it's not the end of Ms Swifts legal battles as she was accused of infringement last week for her song Shake It Off, as well as a sexual harassment claim made by Taylor last month.

Oh dear, it has not been a good week for Taylor Swift.

First, the singer became the latest victim of the celebrity nude photo hacking scandal, and now she’s reportedly being sued.

According to TMZ, Taylor’s company is being sued by a chauffeur service after they supposedly backed out of a pre-arranged deal to take the 22 singer around New York during the summer.

The company suing claim that the deal involved them having to lease two brand new cars especially for Taylor, leaving them out-of-pocket when her people backed out of the deal three weeks later.

Details of the action against Taylor reveals that her security team had planned every part of the deal down to the very last detail – including when the driver could and couldn’t speak to the singer!

We’ve never had Taylor down for a demanding diva, so we’re sure there was a perfectly good explanation behind the legal action.

This latest report tops off what has been a bad week for the 24-year-old, who has been dragged into the notorious nude photo hacking debacle. A topless photo, allegedly of the singer, appeared on the 4Chan website on Sunday but was removed shortly after.

Taylor has always set a good example for her fans, so we hope she’s doing okay!

Rita Ora landed herself in hot water with Italian trainer brand Superga – when she was snapped wearing shoes by a rival label.

The pop star, who inked a deal as the face of the shoe label, agreed not to wear trainers by rival companies during her time as the label’s ambassador.

She was reportedly paid £180,000 to stay loyal to Superga, taking over from Alexa Chung.

But last April, the Hot Right Now singer was spotted at a London nightclub wearing a pair of Converse, with celebrity pals Cara Delevingne and Ellie Goulding in tow.

This led to the Scottish firm who own Superga to withdraw her last two payments for breaching her contract.

The singer was caught up in a hefty legal battle with the brand as she demanded to be paid her fee and asked for £90,000 extra for her troubles.

The case has now been settled out of court, and while the outcome has been kept hush-hush, it seems both parties have moved on!

Rita is rumoured to be collaborating with Adidas, and Superga have snapped up model Suki Waterhouse as the new face of their brand.
