Kirsten Dunst

Actress Kirsten Dunst has at long last set the record straight about those pregnancy rumours in the most glamorous way possible: through an ad campaign.

The mum-to-be posed for fashion line Rodarte's Fall Winter 2018 portrait series of inspirational women.

Rodarte is run by two sisters, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, and we could see why they'd take inspiration from Kirsten.

We adore this first photo, where the radiant 35-year-old looks like Mother Nature.

This will be Kirsten and her fiancé Jesse Plemons' (of The Post fame) first child. According to E! News, the Mulleavy sisters are designing her wedding dress.

We are so thrilled for them! Between the impending nuptials and a baby on the way, this must be such an exciting time for the couple.

When asking Kirsten's representative about the photos, The Los Angeles Times received the simple reply, 'The photos speak for themselves.'

Instagram users were ecstatic to find that The Beguiled star had finally confirmed her pregnancy.

'Truly beautiful…So happy for all of you,' a fan commented.

Kirsten Dunst is expecting her first child with fiance Jesse Plemons, a source told Us Weekly

The expecting mum mentioned she was in baby mode an interview with Marie Claire U.K. this summer, saying, 'It’s time to have babies and chill.'

The Beguiled star confessed that she didn't always feel overly maternal.

'I wasn’t one of those 'I need a baby!' people until my goddaughter was born. I love her so much,' she shared.

'That love is just like… you can’t experience that unless you have a kid. I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, 'Where’s Kiki?' I just love that love. That’s what I want.'

The Little Women actress and her 29-year-old beau started dating last year when they were playing husband and wife on the TV show Fargo.

She called Jesse her 'best friend' and her 'favourite actor' to work with when speaking with Marie Claire U.K.

The two are expected to marry in Austin this spring.

There still aren't any details on when to expect the precious bundle of joy's arrival.

Celebrities have such extensive wardrobes that wearing the same thing twice is probably mathematically improbable.

However, Kirsten Dunst just made the ultimate argument for outfit repeating by recycling a dress at a Chopard party in Paris.

The recently engaged star previously wore the vintage Christian Lacroix applique lace dress in 2004 to the Vanity Fair Oscar's after party, which she attended with then-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.

Thirteen years later, the dress (and Kirsten) look as amazing as ever.

Other celebrities have also taken their most beloved garments out of retirement.

Kiera Knightly famously wore this petal pink Chanel dress on the red carpet, before re-purposing it five years later to wear as her own wedding dress.

The star then wore it again to another event, this time with an embellished top underneath.

We all remember the teenage fear of not having something new to wear to the disco, but these ladies are clearly well over that.

However, feeling the need to get something new for an event sometimes spills over into adulthood, at the expense of both our bank accounts and our sanity.

Kirsten and Kiera clearly prove that rummaging through your own wardrobe rather than the shop rails can produce absolute gems you'd completely forgotten about.

When Kirsten Dunst was a teenager, her role in Bring It On pretty much made her a household name.

In fact, some people still recognise her more for that role then many of her more recent projects. Which we can’t exactly blame them for, because there were some fantastic lines in that epic cheerleading tale.

Like many other actresses enjoying their time in the spotlight, Kirsten was asked to be on the cover of a popular magazine. Remember when 18-year-old Kirsten Dunst appeared in Maxim magazine topless bar a denim jacket?

Well she certainly does, and apparently not with fond memories.

The Maxim cover

In an interview with Stylist, Kirsten said she felt forced to do the photo shoot with less clothes than she was ever comfortable wearing.

She then followed up by admitting that she was “bullied” into that particular cover shoot —in order to promote the release of Bring It On.

“I was too young, I didn’t like it,” she added, “Not good. But then I got a whole new team of people!”

That’s the kind of experience that gives us the super creepy feelings.

Kirsten, who is doing press to promote her role in the series Fargo, said that at the time she didn’t feel confident enough or understand how to say “no” to the shoot.

On a lighter note, she revealed that she is still pretty close with her former co-star Tom Cruise:

"He sends me cake every Christmas. I call it the Cruise Cake," Dunst added. "It's so good—a coconut cake with white chocolate chips. It gets eaten within a day in my house.

When the Cruise Cake gets delivered, it's like, 'Cruise Cake's here!' My friends know what that means."

Still totally bitchin', and still with really great hair!

The stars of Bring It On reunited for the ultimate flashback experience to 15 years ago when cheerleaders were the absolute queens of the teen universe.

Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union, Eliza Dushku and Jesse Bradford sat down with Entertainment Weekly to talk about how the low-budget 2000 movie was transformed into a complete cult classic.

"Even when I’m promoting different movies or my TV show, people still want to talk about Bring It On," Gabrielle said.

Joining a cheer-squad was not necessarily fitting with their off-screen personas.

"I was a tomboy growing up and kind of an anti-cheerleader in real life," Eliza explained.

"But I begrudgingly showed up for the audition, probably a little hungover. There were girls doing flips in the lobby, and I kind of cringed and dodged them and went in, and I guess Peyton [Reed] just found that hilarious. He asked me if I could do a split, so I got onto the ground into a split, and that was it."

Kirsten Dunst admitted that she remembers "not being super sure about it."

"I was like, ‘A cheerleading movie?’ It sounded like it could have been just a cheesy teen movie, but what sealed the deal for me was talking to the director," she explained.

Gabrielle added that while she played plenty of sports in school, nothing had ever prepared her for how intense cheerleading was going to be:

"Those rehearsals were some of the lower points in my life — I questioned my very existence. Everything hurt. That’s probably why there are a lot of close-ups of me, not wide shots."

Well, that sounds delightful, truly.

It was defintely worth it in the end as while Bring It On cost €24 million to make, it has grossed almost €90 million across the globe since it was released, accoording to Box Office Mojo.

Kirsten Dunst stars in a great new video about how the selfie culture affects a familiar face.

The video shows two girls who, without even asking, take photos with her and then don’t even talk to her.

Kirsten tells the girls “you can ask me a question” but as they already have their selfie – all they want her to do is tag them.

As the girls drive away they remember all of the great movies Kirsten has been in – but didn’t bother to talk to her about.

Has the selfie culture gone so out of control that we don’t even treat celebrities like real people anymore?

This certainly makes it seem that way, doesn’t it?

We’ve always loved Kirsten Dunst’s style, and it turns out it’s not just her wardrobe that oozes vintage class and elegance. Her home does too, and it’s up for rent! At a whopping $12,500 a month….

That studio flat in Ranelagh isn’t looking so extravagant now, is it?!

If you were lucky enough to be able to afford to have Kirsten as your landlord, you’d find yourself with a view of the Hudson River, a large library and sitting room, a brand new kitchen and a master suite. Oh, and your neighbours would be Casey Affleck and director Gus Van Sant. Sound good?

You can rent the apartment furnished with Kirsten's vintage furniture, or you can have her stuff removed. After forking out for the first month's rent, we think we'd be holding onto the furniture!

Kirsten spent $3.09 million on the place back in 2007, as she wanted a break from Los Angeles after a stint in rehab. We don’t know why she’s putting it up for rent seven years later, but what we do know is that whoever gets it is one lucky tenant!

Kirsten Dunst recently shared her views on sexual harassment in Hollywood and the film industry.

Kirsten was questioned was she ever “pounced” on by a director while working on film, Dunst laughed and said “no”.

The actress then went onto to imply that actors usually bring on that behaviour from colleagues, on themselves.

“I don’t give off that vibe. I think that you court that stuff, and to me it’s crossing a boundary that would hinder the trust in your working relationship.”

Kirsten has previously raised eyebrows when she spoke about gender roles in relationships. Dunst said it was important that men still feel masculine in relationships.

Kirsten Dunst has shared her thoughts on what she thinks makes a relationship work.

The 31-year-old actress believes a relationship will only work if a man has a more masculine in a relationship, while women should take on more of a feminine role.

“I feel like the feminine has been a little undervalued. We all have to get our own jobs and make our own money, but staying at home, nurturing, being the mother, cooking—it’s a valuable thing my mom created. And sometimes, you need your knight in shining armour. I’m sorry. You need a man to be a man and a woman to be a woman. That’s why relationships work.”

Maybe that’s why her relationship with fellow actor Garett Hedund is still going strong.

The couple started going out after working together on the film, On The Road in 2012.

Dunst has revealed that she hopes to direct someday but says it isn’t something she will consider for a long time.

“I would love it. I love getting immersed in things and being busy all the time. It’s just that I’m not going to write my own script. Maybe in three years. Who knows? Maybe I’ll have children then. I probably will – one day – want to try it.”
