Taylor Swift is allegedly intending to re-record new versions of her old songs after Scooter Braun bought her entire back catalogue of music.

Swift revealed back in June that the masters of her early music had been sold to the manager by her former record label, Big Machine Records, and claimed she wasn't informed about it.

The Lover singer accused Braun of  "incessant, manipulative bullying", which he has denied. Braun manages stars like Justin Bieber, who controversially leapt to his defence, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.

Swift has said that she "absolutely" plans to re-record music from her first six albums, which were massively successful.

During an interview with the CBS Sunday Morning show, she was asked whether she planned to re-record the old material so she could own the rights to new versions.

"Yeah, absolutely," she replied. The singer began her career as a teenager, and released six albums with the Nashville label. Braun's Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Records in June.

Swift accused him of attempting to "dismantle" her "musical legacy". Braun was later supported by Lovato and Bieber, who claimed Swift was just out "to get sympathy".

Taylor signed with Universal Music last year, writing: "I am now signed to a label that believes I should own anything I create." Halsey and Kelly Clarkson both stood up for Swift online, saying that women like Swift deserve to control their own art.

Artists including Squeeze, Def Leppard and ELO have previously re-recorded their hits so they can own the rights to the new versions, meaning they get control over how they are used, and get paid if they are sold or used for things like TV adverts.

You okay there, Kelly?

Just hours after she hosted the Billboard Music Awards in Vegas for the second consecutive year, Clarkson underwent surgery to get her appendix removed, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The Broken & Beautiful singer tweeted a message to her fans confirming the news on Thursday, saying she had "broken down in tears after the show from pain" and was flown home the second the ceremony wrapped.

"Thanks to all the amazing people at Cedars-Sinai, I flew home directly after the event, nailed the surgery early this morning and feeling awesome now! Bye bye appendix," she wrote.

She shared that she underwent the procedure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles straight away on Thursday morning but is feeling great.

The woman has reinvented the phase, "The show must go on", after experiencing intense waves of appendicitis pain over the entire week.

Disney moves can be our saviour when it comes to being a parent.

Plonk them in front of one of the classics and you'll get some peace and quiet – as well as a brilliant story to your kids to enjoy.

Which is exactly what Kelly Clarkson does with her daughter, four-year-old River Rose.

The 36-year-old told  Entertainment Tonight that she tried to tell her daughter about the mechanics behind voicing an animated character – and it backfired.

She said, ''I was explaining to her, because she was confused, and I said, ‘It’s my voice. Like, you know, like how Elsa and Anna, there’s a person that plays Elsa and Anna?’ And I didn’t get what I was doing!”

She continued, ''I pretty much crushed her dreams. I didn’t really realise what I was doing.''

She added, ''But she’s very clever. She would’ve figured it out, after finding out that I’m [a voice in UglyDolls]. I’m justifying it to make myself feel better.”

Kelly says how awful she felt when she realised her blunder and how she ruined the fantasy for River.

She said, ''I saw her little face, and I just saw the wheels spinning and I was like, ‘Oh no!…But isn’t it exciting that you can meet the real girl that plays Elsa?’”

She continued, ''I was like, ‘Let’s flip this into a positive!’ It was so sad.”

Kelly is also mum to three-year-old son Remy, and we're sure she won't be making any more slip-ups when it comes to iconic kids movies again.

With access to the best costume departments and makeup artists in the world, if there’s one thing celebrities do well, it’s Halloween.

As Amy Schumer impresses Instagram with her personal take on Stranger Things, Kelly Clarkson has taken to Facebook to channel her inner Sia.

Adopting an oversized white wig for the entire seven minute clip, the first American Idol winner used the social media site to livestream herself singing Chandelier to over 300,000 people this Friday.

The Stronger singer dedicated the unique performance to the 40-year-old Australian, who has previously been involved in writing Kelly’s songs Invincible and Let Your Tears Fall.

While Kelly's costume was pretty basic, the wig certainly offered the star and her fans a glimpse at life as Sia.

Let's be honest, if Chrissy Teigen wasn't so damn hilarious, we'd probably hate her too.

Instead, however, we fan-girl all over ourselves every time she posts something on Twitter and we coo like good things whenever she gets her Instagram game on.

In saying all that, we kind of see where Kelly Clarkson is coming from when she joked that she 'hated' Chrissy after seeing a stunning snap of the new mum on Instagram over the weekend.

Uploading a shot of Chrissy getting her Mother's Day breakfast on which her husband John Legend shared with fans this week, Kelly tweeted: "Okay, what?! She just had a baby!"

"My train of thoughts…#hateher #justkidding #kindofnotkidding #jealouslikeJonas," the Because of You singer continued in a post which has been liked more than 1,000 times.

34-year-old Kelly, who gave birth to her second child in April, was inundated with like-minded comments, with one fan of the star tweeting: "I had my daughter 9 mths ago and still haven't found the way to my make up bag or kitchen to cook!! #keepingitreal." (sic)

Come on now ladies, we're sure John had ALL of us in mind when he penned All Of You…right?!

Two snaps of an adorable baby are EXACTLY what you need if you're suffering from The Fear this evening.

And Kelly Clarkson came to all of our rescue today by uploading two super-cute snaps of baby Remington Alexander Blackstock, and we can't thank her enough for it.

Having given birth two weeks ago, the Because Of You singer decided it was time for some introductions, writing: "Meet Remy, our newest addition to the family!"

Kelly confirmed the news today on Twitter, writing: "Our little baby boy has arrived! Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love."

Aw, we're so happy for her. And, the name isn't too wild either!

We hate to be the ones to ruin your fun but Kelly Clarkson fans are in for some bad news.

The singer has been forced to cancel her remaining tour dates, including her performances at Dublin’s 3 Arena.

Under doctor’s orders the singer has had to cut her tour short. The Piece by Piece tour also had remaining dates in Canada and six concerts in the UK scheduled for November.

She had previously had to cancel six American dates due to illness. Doctors appear to have adivised her again that she should not continue her tour.

The 33-year old announced to crowds in LA this summer that she was pregnant with her second child. After the birth of her first daughter River, who is now one, she’s been outspoken about how difficult her pregnancy was:

"I had the worst pregnancy ever but I love her so much I want another one in, like, two years.”

She took to Facebook to announce that her doctors are ordering she be put on vocal rest and not bring her tour any further:

"I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates. I was looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the U.K. Unfortunately my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible."

It's a bad day for Kelly Clarkson fans!

Kelly announced through Twitter that she has to cancel at least six tour dates due to doctor's orders.

She gave her fans little or no notice as one concert is scheduled to be taking place this evening.

"So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice," the 33-year-old tweeted.

The scheduling affects dates from today and up throughout the next week, ending on September 20.

The cancellations include two stops in Vienna, Virginia, two in Florida – including Tampa and West Palm Beach – one in Raleigh, North Carolina and another in Camden, New Jersey.

That's a lot of disgruntled fans to deal with!

"I can't wait to get healthy and see y'all back on the road soon. I hate canceling," the songstress wrote in a second tweet.

Congrats are in order for Kelly Clarkson today, after she revealed last night that she is pregnant with her second child.

The singer announced the happy news live on stage at the Los Angeles Staples Centre, much to the surprise of the audience… and to herself.

"I was totally not planning on announcing this, but I’m pregnant. I’m having a really hard time," she said, while struggling to hold in her emotion.

"I’m gonna nail the s*** out of this song. That was not how I wanted to announce that…I hate this song right now. My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk or something."

33-year-old Kelly has spoken before about her difficult first pregnancy with her daughter River Rose, which saw her "vomiting over the porcelain throne for seven months". Now that River is 13 months old, it seems Kelly is ready for another child, despite her apprehensions about going through pregnancy again.

"I had the worst pregnancy ever but I love her so much I want another one in, like, two years," she said earlier this year.

While the audience loved Kelly's annoucnement last night, her husband of two years Brandon Brandstock might not have been quite so pleased with the very public revelation.

"I’d like to apologise to my husband," Kelly said from the stage. "We haven’t even told our [extended] family! That was not planned. I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or anything. I’m just so hormonal today. I haven’t vomited yet – that is a freakin’ win."

Huge congrats to Kelly and Brandon.

The Grammy award winning singer Kelly Clarkson has been delighting her fans of late as she covers everything from Bryan Adams to Miley Cyrus with serious talent.

On Tuesday night, she appeared on the popular Jimmy Kimmel Live show and put on another incredible show.

This time thought it was a performance with a twist. Rather than cover some of her much-loved peers hit tracks, she opted for a more romantic approach.

Well, if you consider finding love with a right swipe and a dating app romantic that is.

The sometimes sweet, but mostly bizarre and sometimes creepy profiles of Tinder users were Kelly’s lyrics.

A foot fetish and a hairless cat lover became the basis for some amazing tunes. No seriously, she nailed it.

We’re not sure if anyone aside from Kelly could actually pull this off, but she did a seriously impressive job.

Trainer and fitness blogger Cassey Ho has made a successful business out of her healthy diet and active lifestyle, but in a recent video she showed that she isn’t immune to cruel online comments about her weight.

In the video, Cassey imagines exactly what would happen if she took every piece of negative feedback on board. In the end she might end up with a body that will please everyone, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be any happier in herself.

Cassey’s not the only one who has been taking a stand against cruel weight shamers of late. Here are a few other inspirational celebs who have spoken out against their haters…

Selena Gomez
Selena might have been having the time of her life on her holidays in Mexico last week, but that didn’t stop online trolls from making hurtful comments about her weight. The singer refused to stand for the negativity, and responded on Instagram by saying, “I love being happy with me y’all #theresmoretolove.”

Giuliana Rancic
E! presenter Giuliana has been the subject of endless criticism in recent months for being “too skinny”. She finally spoke out last month to set the record straight about her low weight, which is the result of ongoing cancer treatment. “I’m doing the best I can… I refuse to be broken,” she told People magazine.

Kelly Clarkson
The American Idol singer has had to defend herself and her weight numerous times, most notably after Katie Hopkins asked if she had “eaten all her backing singers.” Kelly’s epic response? “I’m awesome! It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will.”

Pink
Fierce as always, Pink was having none of it when some cruel comments began appearing online after she attended a red carpet event recently. In an open letter to her haters, Pink wrote, “I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off.”
