Keeping Up with the Kardashians

Kim Kardashian has opened up about her 2019 Met Gala look, and the tortuous pain it brought her.

The Thierry Mugler dress involved waist-shrinking, tight undergarments which left "indentations" on her back and stomach, with the star saying of the corset; "I have never felt pain like that in my life."

The high fashion soirée often involves uncomfortable looking couture outfits donned by celebrities aching to reach the Best Dressed lists, but the reality star seemed to go too far with her own look.

In a recent interview with WSJ. Magazine, the beauty and fashion mogul opened up about the impossibly painful Mr Pearl undergarment, and shut down rumours that she'd had ribs removed to fit into the frock.

Regarding those ridiculous whispers online, she said to the publication; "I don’t even know if that’s possible." Wearing the outfit sounds like tough going, though.

"I’ll have to show you pictures of the aftermath when I took it off- the indentations on my back and my stomach," she added, referencing the horrible effect the garment had on her body.

How long the indentations lasted wasn't said by Kardashian, but they don't sound like a party. Corsetier Mr Pearl created the body-hugging piece, which was met with criticism for promoting "unrealistic beauty standards" and "an unnatural figure".

Kim's personal trainer, Melissa Alcantara, defended her after the gala, and emphasised the work which the reality star puts into her body.

"Kim trains her ass off 6 days a f*cking week, she wakes up early AF and is dedicated," she wrote in on her Instagram Story.

The entrepreneur has also just released her first shapewear range, controversially named Kimono despite having nothing to do with Japanese garments.

The KKW Beauty founder launched a 'solutionwear' line but had to rename the venture after backlash against the culturally insensitive name.

The new moniker hasn't been revealed yet, but she has announced her Sooo Fire make-up range featuring a 10-pan metallic eyeshadow palette, three eyeliners and three lip glosses with a new formula.

Kim Kardashian has won $2.5 million in damages after accusing fast fashion brand Missguided of imitating her outfits.

The reality star and fashion mogul has won her lawsuit and $60,000 in lawyer fees after taking the brand to court in America.

TMZ reports that Kardashian claims Missguided was "using her name and likeness" without permission in order to sell knock-offs of her Yeezy dress.

The win was allegedly as a result of Missguided failing to respond to the suit, and as a result the star was awarded the millions in damages by default. The mum-of-four originally sought $10 million

According to the US publication, the court ruled in favour of the 38-year-old because the Missguided website features "entire pages dedicated to selling and knocking off dresses inspired by Kim."

The issue is their use of images to falsely pretend that Kim Kardashian endorse the brand.

Kim took to Twitter in February to slam the brand's copycat ways, writing;

"It’s devastating to see these fashion companies rip off designs that have taken the blood, sweat and tears of true designers who have put their all into their own original ideas."

Fans were quick to point out that her younger sister Kylie has taken ideas from young designers too, but that's a whole other story. Kim is known for wearing clothes from some of the world's most revered designers.

The affordable fashion company responded Kim's frustrated tweet to by writing, "The devil works hard but Missguided works harder. Kim Kardashian: You've only got a few days before this drops online."

The brand is apparently now permanently banned from using Kardashian's trademarks and likeness to market it's merchandise.

Missguided, founded in 2009 in Manchester, has never been shy when it comes to replicating looks of celebrities and certain images to promote it's website.

Stormi Webster, daughter of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, has appeared on her first major magazine cover at the tender age of one.

The little girl has covered Harper's Bazaar alongside mum Kylie and grand-momager Kris Jenner.

We were only nine-months-old when we covered Vogue, so really Stormi's no big deal. At all. It's fine, we're not jealous of a one-year-old's success. We could never be that petty…

“When I became a mother, my perspective on life completely changed, and so did how I look at my own mum and appreciate all the things that she’s done for me,” Kylie said.

She added; “Now I can understand the way that she feels about me, the way that she loves me, and how strong her love is for all her kids, because of how obsessed I am with Stormi.”

"But there are definitely moments when I get stressed out. I’ll take the week off and spend more time with Stormi, or I like to go on trips when I’m feeling overwhelmed," she continued.

Stormi is 100 percent the centre of Kylie's world; "I just have my little message in life. I feel that we all do, even if you’re not famous. As human beings, we get stressed out and we all have our little way of coming back together.”

She added that having Stormi has changed her views on what it means to be a role model: “Mentally, for me, I try not to focus so much on being a role model and still be myself.

"But I do understand how many young women look up to me and that I have to think about everything that I put on the internet or what example I want to set for my daughter. Especially now that I’ve had her, I think about that a lot more," she finished.

Khloe Kardashian has now admitted her guilt at launching a scathing social media attack on Jordyn Woods after hearing about her kiss with then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

Woods has been a long-time family friend, surrogate sister and BFF to Kylie Jenner, and Khloe was clearly heartbroken to learn that she'd crossed the line with the basketball player.

The reality star shares 14-month-old True with Tristan, and has confessed that she "felt bad" after going so hard on Jordyn online.

You may remember that she called Jordyn "the reason her family broke up", which is mad harsh considering Tristan was allegedly unfaithful for their entire relationship.

In a preview for the second part of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians finale, Khloe cries as she tells her sister Kim that she quickly regrets her tweets about Jordyn;

"I realise that the world took that so literally. ‘I would never blame solely one person for that. There’s a multitude of things.

"So, I feel bad – even though Jordyn played a part – I do feel bad if anyone would think I was putting the sole blame on her, because that’s not the truth and I only like to speak my truth."

Kim reassured her younger sister that her online actions were understandable given how hurt she was at the time.

"Here’s the thing — I think that we’ve always taken the high road and I know you have this aggression towards so many people that you trusted that were in your life for years at a time.

And it was the most f***ed up situation. It should have never happened that way. But I think you just had had it on everyone taking advantage of you," she added.

"I feel like being in Palm Springs, and us getting you all worked up, just seeing all these different perspectives, I guess you have to go through the motions."

35-year-old Khloe also confessed that she was struggling with having her personal issues filmed and displayed to the world.

"Emotionally you have to be really, really strong for this environment that we’ve created.

"And I know, as much as these people hurt us, I also know that, if this can make them better and if I can be that person then… I know I’m strong enough to do that," the star continued.

"It just sucks it has to be so public, because no one understands… I’m not just a TV show. This is my life and it breaks my soul and it’s happened so many times."

Khloe wrote a tweet aimed at Jordyn after the model appeared on the Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith to discuss the scandal between herself and Tristan.

The Revenge Body host wrote:

"Why are you lying Jordyn Woods? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGISE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!"

She backtracked the next day and firmly blamed Tristan for the infidelity. Her tweet garnered a lot of negative attention from online users.

"This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have," she tweeted.

"Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time," she scribed.

"What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family," Khloe added.

"This was Tristan’s fault. I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True." She seems to have changed her tune, that's for sure.

Another day, another Kardashian doing something culturally inappropriate.

Last week it was Kylie's absurd Handmaid's Tale-themed party, this week it's Kim Kardashian West's new body foundation AND her kimono range.

The reality television star and beauty mogul has been accused of cultural appropriation after releasing her new shapewear collection, which is named 'Kimono'.

No, it has nothing to do with actual kimonos, or Japan for that matter.

She wrote on Twitter about the launch, saying;

"Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years. Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work."

Social media users, however, were having NONE of it. Kim was blasted for adopting a term which bears strong significance in Japanese culture, while only using it for the play on her name in the title.

A user named Yuko Kato on Twitter criticised the name, explaining the confusion which Japanese people have regarding the inappropriate choice;

"As a Japanese woman who loves to wear our traditional dress, kimono, I find the naming of your products baffling (since it has no resemblance to kimono), if not outright culturally offensive, especially if it’s merely a word play on your name."

They added; "Basically, what you’re doing is creating a line of underwear and calling them, ‘traditional Japanese garments’. Is that what you’re aiming for?

"Or, are you intentionally taking a Japanese word of specific and extreme cultural significance, stripping away its meaning, and appropriating it for your brand?

"I do hope not, but intentional or otherwise, that will be the result. That’s why many Japanese are crying foul," Yuto concluded.

It appears that Kim didn't do her homework when it came to the cultural importance of the word 'kimono'.

Another person tweeted;

"Please be respectful with Japanese culture. The word 'kimono' shouldn't be something that any one company can take advantage and making profit out of cultural appropriation."

The range was also described as "absolutely tasteless and awful" and lambasting Kim for having "zero respect to the Japanese culture".

"I feel very sad that the name “Kimono” is being used to something completely different from what we Japanese know about it. Kimono is Japanese traditional clothes and we are very proud of its history and culture.

"I’m sorry but I feel this name choice is simply ignorant," wrote Twitter user @bunkaiwa.

US reports stated last year that Kardashian West filed to trademark the name "Kimono Intimates".

The "kimono", was originally worn by commoners in Japan and as an undergarment for members of the aristocracy. It became a widely-worn item of clothing by the 16th century for all classes.

This isn't the first time that the businesswoman has been called out for cultural appropriation, remember her 'Bo Derek Braids'?

Kylie Jenner has been slammed online over quite the growing array of tasteless things, as of late, and this latest stunt is being added to the pile.

The make-up mogul knows how to throw a lavish party, but the theme of the soirée she held for her best friend Anastasia Karanikolaou is landing her in hot water.

The billionaire incorporated the totalitarian regime of Gilead to Los Angeles, hosting a Handmaid's Tale bash for her BFF. It's fair to say that people online are more than a bit p*ssed off…

The intimate gathering was attended by Scott Disick's girlfriend, Sofia Richie, and included the infamous red cloaks for all guests, and caterers and staff dressed up as 'Marthas'.

There were also cocktails called 'Under His Eye' tequila and 'Praise Be Vodka'.

Kylie's Instagram Story shows herself calling a male friend Commander, and using tropes from the famous dystopian series to show ownership of handmaids.

"Welcome to Gilead," Jenner said in a social media video.

The 21-year-old was slammed for turning a show that depicts the oppression of women and rape as something to be mocked, referring to the party as 'disturbing' and 'tone deaf'.

The party comes at possibly the worst ever time, considering that numerous states over the last few weeks have passed a bill essentially banning all forms of abortion, which is highly dangerous.

A user named @anamgom tweeted;

"Kylie Jenner throwing her friend a Handmaid’s Tale themed birthday party complete with robes, Gilead flags … is so tone deaf, at any time, but especially when women’s rights and autonomy are particularly under attack. Disheartening."

Margaret Atwood's notorious novel appears chillingly close to the bone recently, with the Trump administration rolling back women's rights across the board.

Many are seeing Jenner's apparent ignorance by throwing the party as a prime example of 'privilege'. The iconic red robes have become a feminist symbol of protest against women's oppression and sexual violence.

@QveenMai tweeted. "Does anyone wanna tell her that handmaids are literally raped, stripped of their freedom and treated as cattle?" I mean, does she even know?

Unsurprisingly, Jenner hasn't addressed the online backlash. Season three of The Handmaid's Tale premiered on Hulu last Wednesday.

Not that much time has passed since the Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson scandal, which rocked celeb-land to it's hollow core.

The formerly inseparable pair stopped talking after Jordyn kissed none other than Khloé Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson, and it was MESSY.

About four months ago, the drama flipped the Kardashians upside-down, and presumably boosted their reality show ratings.

It appears that Woods and Jenner have offered each other olive branches of friendship forgiveness, and are reuniting as pals once more.

The sources clarified that Kylie and Jordan won't ever be as close as they once were, with collaboration lip-kits and luxurious holidays together.

The model moved out of Kylie's home and into her own place, and is joining the acting industry. News recently broke that she will guest star in this season of Grown-ish.

Many of us couldn’t hide our surprise when news broke that Kim Kardashian is in training to become…a lawyer.

The make-up mogul and businesswoman is basically turning herself into Elle Woods, as she studies to become a fully-fledged attorney, but she has now revealed that her Dad was less than supportive.

Robert Kardashian, who passed away in 2003 when Kim was just 22, worked on high profile cases such as that of OJ Simpson’s murder trial in 1995.

The famous lawyer advised his daughter to steer clear of the profession, instead of following in his footsteps.

In a preview for the new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the 38-year-old said: “I told my dad years ago that I was really into criminal justice and he was like “This will stress you out so much, you do not really want to take this on.”‘

It seems Kim never quite forgot her desire to dive into law;

“I think now having gotten so deep in helping Alice Marie Johnson, I’m really motivated to get to know the law more and fight for people who deserve a second chance like her. ‘It really is overwhelming how much people do write. I do want to read and see if there are the right cases and what I can do to help.”

Kris Jenner has a totally different view of Kim’s profession wishes. In the clip, she is seen telling Kim; “I’m super proud of you Kim, you take this all seriously and I think that they’re lucky that you listen.”’

Her husband, Kanye West, is also extremely supportive of Kim’s choices. Kim’s studies over the next few years means that she has less family time on her hands to enjoy her personal life with North, Saint and Chicago, as well as their new arrival, who is due this month via surrogate.

The make-up boss gushed that Ye has been an absolute pillar of compassion.

“The fact that he is supporting me in this journey, knowing that for the next 4 years it would take time away from him and our kids, means a lot to me. And, gives me the confidence that I really need. ‘And that, like, extra push of someone around me to be like, “I know you can do it. You got this!”‘

Posting an image to Instagram a few weeks ago, Kim elaborated on her choice to register with the California State Bar to study law for the next four years, with 18 hours a week required;

“As my first year is almost coming to an end I am preparing for the baby bar, a mini version of the bar, which is required when studying law this way. I’ve seen some comments from people who are saying it’s my privilege or my money that got me here, but that’s not the case.

“I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams, and the accomplishment of new goals. You can create your own lanes, just as I am. The state bar doesn’t care who you are. This option is available to anyone who’s state allows it,” she continued.

“My weekends are spent away from my kids while I read and study. I work all day, put my kids to bed and spend my nights studying. There are times I feel overwhelmed and when I feel like I can’t do it but I get the pep talks I need from the people around me supporting me,” she said, referencing her support system.

She also went into detail of the commitment which she has towards achieving her goal; “I changed my number last year and disconnected from everyone because I have made this strict commitment to follow a dream of mine – It’s never too late to follow your dreams.”

Damn right, Kimmy. We support a #GirlBoss (just a general boss, really).

Kylie Jenner's recent skincare launch hasn't been without its controversies, mainly revolving around walnut scrubs.

Fans are now DRAGGING her name to the dirt because of how she washes her face in a new Kylie Skin video. People are calling her a scammer thanks to the whopper foundation stains on her towel.

People have serious thoughts about this kerfuffle, to say the least. Kylie can be seen rubbing her new face wash onto herself for about a millisecond before rinsing it off and patting her face dry with a fluffy towel.

The fluffy towel then becomes basically a cesspit of foundation stains, and now everyone's busy calling Ms Jenner out as total 'scammer'.

Comments are claiming that the billionaire make-up mogul doesn't even use the products she's selling, and that she's lazy in her attempt to pretend to use them.

"Kylie Jenner washing her face for seven seconds reminds me of that girl pretending to rub the makeup wipe on her face," wrote one Twitter user.

Another pointed out that using cleanser for under five seconds does absolutely nada for your skin, and her new product doesn't work effectively as a result.

"Love you Kylie Jenner but if you’re showing people how to wash their face with your products, do it properly," wrote Heidi Schneider.

Another wrote;

"Kylie Jenner is real dumb for thinking she can fool anyone with her skin care brand?

"Sis is out here washing her face on camera using a filter not even letting the interested people see how it looks when she uses it AND there was foundation on the towel when she was done? No thanks."

An especially angry fan called her a rich b*tch "who goes to expensive dermatologists".

To be fair, she does have access to the best plastic surgeons and dermatologists in the world, so selling skincare products in the first place makes minimal sense…

People also pointed out that putting a filter on the video meant that the skincare product was shown in an even MORE inaccurate light as a result…Ah Kylie. Make more of an effort, hun.

"How do you live with yourself knowing you're a scam…" wrote another Twitter fan. Yikes, she is losing fans left, right and centre.

It's only a short demonstration video that Kylie threw up on her Instagram, it's not official branded content.

Mayyyyyybe she does use her own Kylie Skin face wash but does it better in real life? Maybe?

You can choose whether to give her the benefit of the doubt or not…

It’s safe to say Khloé Kardashian has had one whirlwind year already and we’re not even at the halfway point yet. The mum has been adjusting to life as a single mum after the Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods scandal.

The businesswoman shares one-year-old daughter True with her former partner and has been trying her best to ensure that True has a normal, happy childhood.

Khloé said co-parenting is the best option for her and Tristan as she doesn’t want her negative love life with the sportsman to impact True.

“I do everything in my power to not put just any sort of heavy energy around her. Maybe that sounds are a little too bohemian to some people,” Khloé added.

Fair play to Khloé for rising above the toxic drama and focusing on what is best for her baby girl.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians have just released the latest trailer for Sunday's episode, and it's absolutely excruciating to watch. Honestly, we're cringing extremely hard right now.

The video shows the family throwing a party for Kylie Jenner and her former BFF Jordyn Woods, before the whole Tristan Thompson scandal, and Khloe herself makes a toast.

The emotional toast is given to Jordyn specifically, which makes the entire thing about 1000 times more awkward. If that was even possible.

In the clip, Khloe addresses Jordyn directly and says how proud she is of both Woods and her younger sister Kylie.

"Jordyn, for you to be turning 21. I've known you forever, and I'm so proud of you and the woman you have grown into and you're growing into. To see you guys just stick together and be best friends through thick and thin, it's such a blessing."

She mentions Kylie's generosity while she's at it; "I know how hard you have worked on your company and everything."

"You're so generous to share that with me and Kourtney and Jordyn, and it's such a blessing because you don't have to share your blessings with us, but you kind of do.

Watch the clip above in full to see the whole speech, and to perhaps go unconscious from the sheer awkwardness of the whole thing.

The part about the duo sticking together through thick and thin really slapped us across the face, good Lord. The friendship seems well and truly dead in the water since Jordyn was embroiled in a scandal with Khloe's ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

News broke that Woods had shared a kiss with the notorious womaniser, and then appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk to defend herself and ask the public to calm down. The public, predictably, did not calm down…

You may have noticed while rifling through the Instagram photos of this years amazing Met Gala, fashion's biggest night, that the full Kardashian clan did NOT attend.

Allegedly, Anna Wintour isn't exactly Khloe's number one fan, as RadarOnline.com has exclusively discovered that she was the only member not to receive an invite to this years ball. Yikes.

The insider said, “Khloe and Kourtney have never been invited to the Met Gala, but Kourtney was invited to this one and chose to stay home with Khloe because she didn’t want to leave her alone.”

Khloe's sister Kim Kardashian, as well as Kylie and Kendall Jenner and their momager Kris, all attended the event alongside Kanye West and Travis Scott. Khloe and Kourt seemed pretty far away from the gossip:

Khloe's Instagram story depicted the mum at home with her daughter, True Thompson. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is recently single following the  crazyTristan Thompson cheating drama from February.

People reported that the TV star has moved on; “Khloé is great. Her heartbreak seems to have passed and her mood is much lighter. Although she really wanted Tristan to come around, grow up and be a man, she seems to have realised that she’s much better off now. Everyone is happy to see her happier.”

Kourtney looked like she was busy hanging at a resort last Sunday instead of snuggling up to Anna Wintour like Kim. Kourt and Khloe were miles away from the NYC bustle.

37-year-old Kim is very close with Wintour, and has appeared on Vogue. She also hasn’t missed a Met Gala in over five years, and her husband Kanye is equally involved in fashion through his brand, Yeezy.

“Kim lives for the event and she would never want her Kardashian sisters there because that would take the attention away from her,” the source told Radar. “Everyone in the family knows that it is Kim’s night. She literally talks about it all year long.”

Kim was the first family member to bag an invite to the prestigious event when she attended as Kanye's plus one back in 2013. She opened up about her feeling of intense insecurity, but she's never looked back.

"2013 Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy. I was Kanye’s plus one & so nervous! I didn’t know anyone & I’m sure no one wanted me there lol. I did my own lipstick & the colour is so off. I went home & cried after insecurity," she Tweeted.

This year, the beauty mogul pretty much ignored the theme, Camp: Notes on Fashion and enticed Thierry Mugler out of retirement to create her dripping water drop dress.

The design looked painted on to Kim's insanely hourglass figure, working the wet latex look. She later changed into a turquoise-blue dress and crystal wig:
