Jermain Jackman has been crowned winner of The Voice 2014.

The 19-year-old from Hackney, London, was named the champion of the third series, after singing his way to victory against Christina Marie, Jamie Johnson and Sally Baker.

The singer wowed the audience and the judges with his performance of Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball, and an amazing rendition of Jennifer Holiday’s And I Am Telling You, which received a standing ovation.

Before the voting lines opened up, Jermain’s coach Will.i.am got a call from his pal Cheryl Cole, who pledged her support to the singer.

Cheryl later took to Twitter to congratulate both Jermain and Will.i.am saying, “Yes Jermain!!! Congrats @iamwill love ya #Dopesh** p.s call me.”

The Black Eyed Peas front man got a bit emotional when Jermain was crowned the winner saying, “I hope you know this victory is more than just you singing. This is direction and guidance for the rest of your life.”

Jermain has already clinched a £100,000 record deal so the future is looking bright for the super talented singer.
