Jamie Laing

Jamie Laing has been forced to drop out of Strictly Come Dancing. The Made In Chelsea star suffered an injury during rehearsals which has prevented him from continuing her Strictly journey.

The show confirmed the devastating news this afternoon. They stated, "Sadly due to an injury, Jamie Laing will no longer be able to take part in this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing. As the Strictly launch show is pre-recorded, Jamie will still feature in this programme which airs Saturday 7th September."

Executive producer, Sarah James said, "We are so sad that Jamie won't be able to take part in the series, he had already lit up the ballroom during the launch show with his boundless energy and enthusiasm. We all wish him a full and speedy recovery."

The reality star was spotted on crutches earlier this week. There's no doubt fans are going to be heartbroken by this news as Jamie was a firm favourite since Strictly announced this year's lineup.

Strictly season is officially kicking off, and the excitement has been building up every since the announcement that Oti Mabuse's sister will replace Shirley Ballas as a judge on the show.

28-year-old Latin dancer Nancy Xu will take the place of departing pro dancer Pasha Kovalev, which is another change to the regular line-up of pro dancers and judges.

The first three Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestants appear to have been accidentally leaked on TV ahead of the schedule today on Good Morning Britain.

Radio presenter Iain Lee was discussing the upcoming announcement on The One Show when he let slip that Sam Allardyce, Jamie Laing and Anneka Rice would be taking part in the BBC dancing series.

When hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway asked him about the news, Iain replied: "They are going to announce the first three people on a show called The One Show – it’s going to be Sam Allardyce, Jamie Laing and Anneka Rice."

Ben asked: "They are announcing it later and you have already announced it?" Iain wasn't overly worried, turning to the camera and saying; "Sorry One Show! Sorry Alex Jones!"

The show has denied that the Strictly professionals are worried that new judge Motsi will give 'preferential treatment' to her sister Oti Mabuse , who is a member of the dancing cast.

They fear that there will be bias when it comes to dishing out scores and that Motsi will go easy on her younger sister, 28.

Motsi and Oti have already been in a similar position when Oti was a pro on the German show for two series and and has already experienced being judged by her sibling.

“Motsi is totally impartial,” said a source. “She will be scrupulously fair, as she always was with Oti on the German version.”

Nude shots with strategically-placed items we can get on board with, but nude shots with strategically-placed teddy bears? No, thanks.

And it looks like Instagram is with us on that one.

After uploading a shot of himself covering his modesty with a soft toy last week, Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing didn't quite get the response he was expecting.

Teddy Bears Picnic

In response to the image which Jamie captioned 'Teddy Bears Picnic', fans found themselves a little baffled, and wasted no time telling Jamie as much.

"Ew, ew, ew," wrote one while another slammed a friend for drawing her attention to the snap, writing: "Oh god why did you have to tag me in this?"

And his girlfriend, Frankie Gaff, who recently joined the MIC line-up. didn't fare much better when she shared another last night.

A week on from the initial negative response, it looks like Frankie thought she might have a little better luck, but no dice this time around either.

"Not sexy at all!" commented one Instagram user while another ignored Jamie's creepy teddy and asked Frankie: "Is he still cheating on your arse?"

Whether it's Jamie's dazed expression, his perma-tan or the disturbing use of a teddy bear, people just aren't feeling it.

Guys, it may be time to admit defeat with this selection of snaps.

The estranged husband of pop-star Cheryl Cole, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, is reportedly being courted to join the Made in Chelsea cast.

Jean-Bernard has recently been caught up in a MIC love triangle with Nicola Hughes and Alex Mytton, and was spotted leaving a London nightclub with Nicola this week.

And another thing…

Now, Chelsea party boy Jamie Laing is hoping to get Jean-Bernard on the show, so we can all watch sparks fly between himself and Nicola.

Jamie told The Sun that "It would be such a good story line if we got him on the show with Nicola. Nicola’s single so she should just go for it."

Despite being eager to get the French businessman on board, Jamie has never actually met Jean-Bernard.

"I’ve never met him but he sounds great. I love French people and speaking French."

Cheryl wed Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in July 2014 after a brief three month relationship.

However, they ended their marriage in late 2015, and Cheryl has moved on with One Direction star Liam Payne.

Spencer Matthews has been know for his unfaithful reputation, but one of his cast members reckons Vicky is going to break Spencer's heart.

The reality duo only starting dating a couple of weeks ago, but the bets are already on for who will cheat on who first. Not the best way to start a relationship, huh?

While speaking to Closer magazine, Spencer's right-hand man Jamie Laing said: "I think maybe she'd be the one to cheat on Spencer!

"It's hilarious because I don't think anyone cheats on him – he always gets there first."

Even so, Jamie still has high hopes that Vicky and Spencer work out:

"I think she'd be good for him. She's an amazing chick and would be good for anyone! I've met her a few times. She is beautiful and super fun and I am excited to see what happens."

We're excited too, Jamie. Now, hand us the popcorn because we can see drama in our midst.

There’s one more reality TV show that Gemma Collins can cross off her to-do list.

This time however it won’t be because of a much talked about appearance because one Made In Chelsea star has apparently made it very clear that she is not welcome.

A photo posted by jamielaing_ (@jamielaing_) on

Gemma, who has just recently announced her departure from The Only Way is Essex, came under fire when Jamie Laing was interviewed by the Mirror Online.

“We won't just invite anyone to join.” The 26-year old said. He added that Gemma joining their cast was something he didn’t think would ever happen.

Also, Jaime pointed out he is not wild about reality stars who leave their shows once they become famous.

He said that ditching the show that made you famous was “the worst thing you can do.”

"You should stay loyal and true to your roots. Remember where you came from. If you are thinking of leaving then it should be a gradual transition.”

He said that he has no plans to leave MIC for now and is thankful for the show giving him his “place in the media world.”

Jamie was also seriously unimpressed after hearing that Gemma was suspended from TOWIE following her supposed “hissy fit” while filming in Marbella.

The series regular said that “Everyone needs to stop being idiots… We should inspire young people. Keep that in mind.”

Does this mean we won’t get the chance to see the greatest reality TV series crossover of our time? It would appear that if Jamie was in control then probably not.

Uh-oh. Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Spencer Matthews are in trouble.

The boys have been blasted by a charity for their ‘disgusting’ behaviour during a recent public appearance.

The reality stars were booked to appear at a function for the Harry Cunningham Trust in Devon last weekend, but left guests and organisers disappointed when left less than an hour after their arrival.

Event organiser Niki Cunningham was particularly scathing in her comments about the guys, telling the Exmouth Journal: “They spent around 30 minutes mingling with our guests and then they came to me and said they’d need to get the last train home as they had filming in the morning.”

“They said they’d need to leave in about 20 minutes which was halfway through my presentation – so rude,” she added.

Revealing that boys had been paid £4,000 to make the appearance, Niki slammed their behaviour as ‘disgusting’.

Oh dear, that’s not the sort of ungentlemanly-like behaviour we would expect of fine Chelsea men!

Uh oh – what’s happened to Jamie Laing?!

The Made in Cheslea star was seen emerging from a nightclub with a bloody face and looking a little worse for wear.

Bouncers were on hand to help Jamie into a waiting car before driving away – home we hope!

It seems Jamie’s night out took a turn for the worse somewhere along the way and he got himself into a spot of bother!

Jamie is known in Made in Chelsea for his cheeky sense of humour so perhaps he took things a little far this time.

Feel better soon, Jamie!

It could be said that he brought it on himself, but Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing was pretty shocked when he was compared to Celebrity Big Brother’s love cheat Lee Ryan.

This Morning host Holly Willoughby made the comparison on the morning show yesterday, leaving the McVitie’s heir lost for words (for once).

The reality TV star was invited on the show along with his co-stars Lucy Watson, Oliver Proudlock and Marc Francis.

As they discussed Jamie’s love life, Holly said, “You’re also really rubbish at telling people that you love them. You are turning into the Lee Ryan of Chelsea.”

The comment had Jamie’s co-stars in fits of laughter and Jamie’s ex Lucy went to town as she said, “That’s the worst thing someone could say to you as well.”

Holly stood by her remarks and added, “You loosely tell people you love them all the time.”
