Today marks the one year anniversary since the world became a much more, erm, interesting place – since Donald Trump became President of the United States.

The business mogul has officially spent 365 days in the White House, but in actuality, many of those days were spent else where.

According to reports, Donald Trump has spend 91 days of the last year on the golf course.

While on the campaign trail, Trump told his potential voters: ‘I’m going to be working for you. I’m not going to have time to go play golf.’

Clearly, he’s not that overworked.

According to trumpgolfcount.com, Trump spends the majority of his golf trips shmoozing with athletes and business execs.

The website also details that the cost of transporting the POTUS on these golf trips has amounted to over 22 million dollars.

Here’s to a 2018 full of more golf instead of nuclear warfare.

All the fecking lols.

Rory McIlroy decided to take some time our of his, er… downtime, to play a round of golf with controversial president Donald Trump.

The Irish golfer has been out of the game recently after suffering a stress fracture to the ribs – but didn't say no when good 'ol Donnie asked him out.

According to a website called No Laying Up, Rory rode around in a golf cart for the day, and said that the POTUS isn't too bad a golfer for a man of his age.

"He probably shot around 80. He's a decent player for a guy in his 70s."

Of course, Rory's fans were livid on social media, and didn't hide it, either:

What did you get yourself into, Rory?!

Niall Horan has been focusing a lot on golf since the One Direction hiatus began, and he certainly showed it in his first magazine cover without the boys.

Instead of being with the 1D lads, Niall teamed up with golfer Justin Rose to pose on the front of Today's Golfer magazine.

Standing side by side, the singer is totally kitted out in golf gear and "How pop star Niall Horan and Justin Rose are changing the game," is printed beside him.

Niall teamed up with Justin back in June to host the Horan & Rose Gala Event which raised €1m for charity.

With the title, "The Cool Issue" we're sure a lot of 1D fans people will go out and buy it to find out a little more about Niall's Modest! management company and what he's been up to since the split.

In the past, there had been some controversy over whether Holywood-native Rory McIlroy would represent Ireland or Britain at the Olympics later this year.

However, and after announcing to much fanfare that he would compete alongside his fellow boys and girls in green, the 27-year-old has withdrawn from the event entirely.

Citing health concerns, a statement released by the professional golfer read: “After much thought and deliberation, I have decided to withdraw my name from consideration for this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero.

“After speaking with those closest to me, I’ve come to realise that my health and my family’s health comes before anything else. Even though the risk of infection from the Zika virus is considered low, it is a risk nonetheless and a risk I am unwilling to take."

The statement, as published by irishtimes.com, continued: “I trust the Irish people will understand my decision. The unwavering support I receive every time I compete in a golf tournament at home or abroad means the world to me.

“I will continue to endeavour to make my fans and fans of golf proud with my play on the course and my actions off it.”

Last month, Rory had hinted at his uncertainty of travelling to Brazil, stating: “As it gets closer, I am relishing the thought of going down there and competing for gold.

"But I have been reading a lot of reports about Zika and there have been some articles coming out saying that it might be worse than they are saying. I have to monitor that situation.”

The Olympic Council Of Ireland has now expressed its disappointment at the news.

However, it also reflected: “Rory was set to be one of the big stars of Rio 2016, but now there is an opportunity for another Irish golfer to take up the chance to become an Olympian and participate in golf’s historic return to the Olympic Games after a 112-year absence.”

Rory and a gaggle of mates yesterday travelled by private jet to France to see Northern Ireland take on world champions Germany – a game they sadly lost 0-1.

Here at SHEmazing! we're big sports fans. And while right now the Rugby World Cup is definitely giving us a sufficient dose of athletic action, it's nice to stumble upon unexpected extras every so often.

Case in point: the recent Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at the famed St Andrews course in Fife, which took place on Wednesday.

In attendance were the likes of Ronan Keating and Brian O'Driscoll, but the man who really caught our eye was the very lovely Jamie Dornan (whose beard also looked to be in perfect shape).

The 33-year-old actor hails from the same Down town as Rory McIlroy – Holywood – and clearly there's something in the water: the Fifty Shades star is a dab-hand with a golf club.

In fact, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly his eagle on hole 18. "It's a shame Rory wasn't here to see that," Dornan said afterwards about the putt.

"But I'll be texting him to let him know."

Away from the course, Jamie has now wrapped up war drama, Jadotville.

In it he plays Kerry commandant Pat Quinlan – who led a group of lightly-armed Irish UN troops against rebels in the African Congo during the 1960s.

Netflix has already bought the rights to the film in preparation for a release next spring.

And, of course, Fifty Shades Darker – the second instalment in the trilogy – will hit cinemas in February 2017.

It is rumoured that Mr Dornan is currently negotiating a seven-figure sum for the gig.

As granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Zara Phillips is used to a life in the spotlight.

And while she certainly seems to lead a relatively normal existence with her former rugby player husband, Mike Tindall, and their toddler daughter, Mia Grace – earlier this year she experienced some of the downsides of fame.

In January on a Sydney beach dressed down in shorts and a t-shirt, online commentators called her 'chunky'.

Meanwhile, just last month, the 34-year-old was at the receiving end of numerous pregnancy rumours. Wearing an ill-fitting yellow shift dress to Royal Ascot, the resulting photographs seems to show the hints of a baby bump.

Such was the fervour, in fact, that her publicist was forced to issue a statement saying that Zara was certainly not expecting.

It didn't help, of course, that at the time a streamlined Duchess Kate was looking incredibly slim mere weeks after giving birth to her second child, Princess Charlotte.

Indeed, public comparisons between the two women was almost inevitable.

But while Ms Phillips, an Olympic silver medallist, has never seemed like the type to get upset over the odd bit of bad lighting and or bad angles, turning up at the K Club in Kildare yesterday, she nevertheless looked incredibly fit and slim.

Wearing a tiny black playsuit and black strappy sandals, the mother-of-one looked stunning posing alongside Mike.

The high-profile duo jetted into Ireland to attend the swish Marks & Spencer Ireland Marie Keating Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic.

Now in its 16th year, the event is definitely one of the highlights of the golfing calendar – and certainly always attracts an A-list crowd.

Raising much-needed funds for the cancer foundation, the likes of actors Dougray Scott and Stephen Graham, rugby legend Shane Byrne, and former footballers Ian Wright and Ronnie Whelan were all spotted on the famed Kildare course.

Also in attendance was Ronan Keating and his fiancee Storm Uechtritz, Keith Duffy, who brought along his handsome son Jay, stylist Suzanne Goggins, and Chanel marketing manager Ciara Hughes Dunleavy.

Guests enjoyed a drinks reception followed by a four-course meal in The Arnold Palmer Room with wine and champagne from M&S.

Entertainment was provided by comedian Stan Boardman and singer Cole Page.

Brothers Ronan and Gary Keating also hosted an auction with items such as golf merchandise signed by Rory McIlroy going under the hammer to raise funds for the worthy cause.

In the space of a single weekend Paul Dunne has managed to become a household name in Ireland, and undoubtedly around the golfing world.

But just exactly who is this mystery man who has experienced a meteoric rise to fame?

Here is what we know so far.

Paul Dunne is a 22-year-old Irish amateur golfer from Greystones, County Wicklow.

He is the only amateur golfer that qualified to play in this year’s widely renowned Open Championship in St Andrews golf course in Scotland.

Mr Dunne is a past pupil of Blackrock College. He also played college golf at the University of Alabama where he obtained a degree in business finance.

The rising star actually qualified for the 2014 Open but was knocked out after his two opening rounds.

Now, he currently sits amongst the best players in the world at the top of leader board.

The Open will finish today and although Paul is in the lead, bookmakers are sceptical that he can pull off the win as he is closely followed by golfing heavyweights including Jordan Speith, Jason Day, Louis Oosthuizen and Adam Scott.

If Paul does win today, he will be the first amateur to win the Open in 85 years. But unfortunately there is a downside. If Mr Dunne secures the win he won't get to take home the €1.8m prize money because of a rule that states amateurs who win don't get to keep the cash.

But with the his new found success and an inevitable flurry of endorsement deals, we think he'll manage just fine!

She'd just been knocked out of the fourth round of Wimbledon (despite being a former world No.1 – she's never made it to the London tournament's quarter-final stage).

So understandably, Caroline Wozniacki probably wasn't in the best form during the post match press conference.

Then – in a move that could be described as the very definition of adding insult to injury – a final question pops up.

"Do you have any messages for Rory McIlroy who sustained an injury to his ankle today?" comes the rather inappropriate query.

Cue Ms Wozniacki putting on her fiercest face; looking to the left, then looking to the right. She next stares intently at a moderator who is prompted (while also probably terrified) to tell the gathered media: "We'll stick to tennis questions."

The Dane was beaten in straight sets yesterday by Garbine Muguruza.

She and Mr McIlroy dated from 2011. They became engaged over New Year's Eve in January 2014 and were due to marry last November.

However, a week after the wedding invites went out last summer, Rory famously broke up with her over the phone.

The past has come back to haunt Tiger Woods, again.

Not only is the 39-year old have a miserable first round of gold at the US Open championship in Chambers Bay, Washington, he is also being very publicly reminded of his shameful romantic history.

After the troubled athlete had four bogeys in his first seven holes – golf speak for; he was playing terribly, the tormented Tiger had to deal with a plane following his every move around the course. The plane also had a banner, which read in very large red letters “CHEATER”.

Not an unfortunate coincidence considering in 2009 he and now ex-wife Elin Nordegren were found arguing in the drive way of their Florida home. The cause of the argument being that Tiger had shamelessly strayed outside their marriage, numerous times.

The two, who have two children together, divorced later that year, but it seems the professional golfer will not be escaping his past mistakes any time soon.

Clearly ruffled by the airborne taunting, at once stage Tiger actually lost his grip on his golf club completely and sent it flying into the air as he tried to get himself out of the rough.

There are no reports that this was Tiger attempting to knock that pesky plane out of the sky… yet.

In February 2010 Tiger said at a press conference that he “thought I could get away with whatever I wanted” and that he “deserved to enjoy all the temptations” surrounding him.

He later admitted “I was foolish.”

You don't say.

Following yesterday’s disasterous round Tiger’s probably not feeling oh-so great about himself, especially if he considers that 15 years ago he led the Open by 15 strokes.

Now? He trails the leaders by 15 strokes.

Rory McIlroy had a bit of an embarrassing moment the other day when the celebratory champagne he was holding popped open a little too soon and took him and his fellow golfers by surprise.

The Northern Irish golfer was waiting for US golfer Zach Johnson to finish up his game so they could celebrate the European victory.

However, Rory took to Twitter to react to the incident in possibly the funniest way he could have.

Sharing a vine of the “popping incident” he tweeted: “I swear this usually never happens!!! #premature #sorryzach.”

All we need now is a tweet from Caroline Wozniacki and our lives will be complete!

He may be a household name in Ireland, and now it looks like it won’t be long before Rory McIlroy is known all over America too!

The Holywood native, who’s pretty handy with a golf club like, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night alongside Tiger Woods.

The show features a hilarious game called Facebreakers, in which Jimmy and his two guests must be the first to break the glass that has their face on it…you’ll get it.

Needless to say, the winner was predicted long before the show aired and his name was actually already engraved on the trophy…!
