There aren't many couples in Hollywood that we would believe are genuinely madly in love.

But Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are definitely one of those few couples

And the 35-year-old Devil Wears Prada actor spoke about how much she loves her husband when she took to the stage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Emily was accepting her gong for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, for The Quiet Place.

She added, '‘You are a stunning filmmaker. I am so lucky to be with you and to have done this film with you. Thank you for giving me the part. You would have been in major trouble if you hadn’t.''

The couple, who have been together for more than ten years and married for eight, are also parents to two little girls – four-year-old Hazel and two-year-old Violet.

Emily also mentioned them in her speech.

She said, ''Thank you to the two little poems in our life, our daughters Hazel and Violet, who will have to be at least 45 before they see this film. Thank you SAG, I am so honoured.''

They win the most adorable family award for sure.

The 2019 Critics' Choice Awards ceremony was one full of tearful speeches, glamorous outfits and moving moments. What else would happen at a celebrity gathering?

When it came to the Best Sci-Fi/Horror Movie category, most fans were vying for A Quiet Place to snatch the award.

Mainly because we all wanted John Krasinski and his talented wife Emily Blunt to appear on stage as one family unit and make our dreams come true.

The cast and crew both appeared to accept the award, with producer Andrew Form claiming that; "The truth is this movie doesn't exist without the visionary filmmaker John Krasinski."

It was then director and screenwriter John's turn to talk, and from that point on all the air left our lungs.

"Thank you so much. Wow. I don't know what's going on right now. I blacked out about six seconds ago. I want to say thank you to all the incredible kindness that has been shown to this film," John explained.

"The critics, but most of all, everyone out there that's seen or loved this movie. It means the absolute world to our crew and to our cast."

He continued, "I got to make a movie about a love story and a love letter to my kids. I got to do it with the love of my life by my side, so I'm pretty sure it doesn't get much better than that. Thank you so much." DEAR GOD.

We caught a glimpse of John and Emily hugging before walking off stage, and at that point we passed out from the hype.

It's gotten rave reviews and looks set to be a triumphant return for the beloved Mary Poppins.

And now a behind the scenes clip shows the lengths Emily Blunt went to to avoid special effects being used in one of the scenes.

The scene is question is the one with the bathtub where Emily drops toys into it while singing Imagine That.

The footage shows Emily as she sits on the edge of the bathtub, in a scene that shows her being sucked down into the tub – which is precisely what happened.

Cafe Fantasia released the clip on Twitter, showing the 35-year-old getting pulled down into the bath tubs filled with bubbles and sliding down a chute backwards to the safety of crew under the set.

How unbelievable is that?

Emily opened up about the scene in a Q&A when she said, ''Everyone involved was very insistent that as much as possible we would build practical sets that we could very much interact with.''

She continued, ''And so what they did with the bath, which the kids thought was the best thing ever, was that they actually carved a hole in the bottom of the bath and had a slide which went under the stage.''

People were in awe of how the scene was shot and took to social media to express this.

One said, ''Oh wow! This film just keeps getting better and better! Practical effects over CGI everyday.''

While another wrote, ''It's amazing just HOW much they did in camera, isn't it.''

It's another reason – as if we needed one anyway – to go and see it.

They are one of our all-time favourite couples – down-to-earth and real.

So of course, any titbit of information about how the got together in the first place is always welcome.

In a rare joint interview with The Hollywood Reporter, they divulged the details.

It was ten years ago, that much they agree on, but the official start date of their relationship is a bit hazier.

It was in a Los Angeles restaurant when Emily was introduced to John as he ate with fellow actor Justin Theroux.

Emily is insistent that it was her who made the first move but her 39-year-old husband disagrees.

He says, ''No. It was me asking for a while and you took some time and then we finally had a date.”

Their first date was pizza and his West Hollywood apartment – as well as something that neither seems willing to share.

Emily, pulling a strand of hair off John's jumper, calls him ''Kras'' and says, ''It's so precious, I don't want to talk about it. Is that all right?"

The couple is parents to two daughters – four-year-old Violet and two-year-old Hazel.

So what's their secret to juggling their marriage and family life?

Rob Marshall, who directed Emily in Mary Poppins Returns, says it's for a specific reason.

He says, ''Neither of them has a jealous bone in their body. People think marriage is looking deep into each other’s eyes. No, it’s looking out and seeing the same life. Emily and John see the same life.”

Sounds like the dream recipe to us.

Daniel Craig is expected to hang up his tuxedo and end his time as 007 after the next James Bond film, which will most likely be released in 2019.

That leaves only one question then: who will replace him as the iconic spy?

Many people have been calling for a person of colour to play Bond (Idris Elba, anyone?) and others have said that it's high time a woman take on the role.

John Krasinski is among those hoping for a female Bond – more specifically, for his wife Emily Blunt to play the part.

“I think a woman Bond would be amazing … They just did it on Doctor Who and people went ballistic [with excitement]," he told the Evening Standard.

"Emily would be an amazing Bond. Would she do it? I don’t know. But I would love to see her do it. I love to see her do anything, but the Bond franchise for me is so [great].”

To be honest, now that he's saying it we can't think of anyone more perfect.

Sexy British accent? Check. Unbelievably good looks? Check. Suave attitude? Check! Let's just make her a secret agent already.

Her acting cred puts her over the edge, too. From Devil Wears Prada to Young Victoria to Into the Woods, the 35-year-old has chops.

And who knows, maybe if Emily is involved in the project John will be on board, too.

He recently directed and co-wrote the critically acclaimed film A Quiet Place, which he also co-starred in with his wife. The 38-year-old has said that he'd love to work with Emily again, who he praises as his 'favourite actress'.

“I would do everything with Emily. She was just so incredibly supportive with the script and had ideas of how to shoot, and on set with such a great energy. She is the best person to work with," he gushed.

It also helps that John is all about empowering women. The former Office star said, "Female empowerment is vital, it’s a must, it’s not a thing you’ve got to be aware of, it’s an obvious must.

"Women are as heroic — and in my case much more heroic — than men, so I love doing it [creating those characters].”

Fingers crossed we get to see a female Bond on the silver screen soon!

Just in case you needed any further evidence that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were one of the sweetest couples in Hollywood, The Office star provided it during a recent interview with Vanity Fair.

John, who married Emily in 2010, admitted that the first time he heard his wife and the mother of their two children sing, he was moved to tears.

The actor revealed that up until she accepted a role in Into The Woods in 2014, he was unaware of her vocal ability, saying: "I had literally never heard her sing a note."

Reflecting on his thought process as Emily prepared for the role, John explained that he saw the film's merit, but felt a little apprehension on her behalf.

"I thought that was such a cool gig, but, to be honest, I was really nervous for her," he said before admitting he assumed they shared the same 'low mediocre' talent in the singing stakes.

This all changed when John accompanied Emily to one the film's recording sessions and subsequently  told the film's director, Rob Marshall, that he had never heard Emily sing,

"His mouth was wide open," John remembered. "He did not say anything. He just turned to the window, cued the song, the orchestra started playing, and Emily started singing, and I just immediately wept,"

38-year-old John remembers feeling utterly stunned that his wife's talent had until moment eluded him.

"It was really wild. It was like finding out that your wife can levitate," he admitted. "It was just like, '"When were you going to tell me this?'"

If we didn't really love them, we'd probably really hate them…

When it comes to Hollywood couples, we have a real grá for Emily Blunt and John Krasinksi.

Maybe it's the way they gaze at each other on the red carpet or the way John adores The Devil Wears Prada more than anything else, but we could listen to stories about this pair 'til the cows come home.

So, when John recently revealed that he 'pinches himself' over the fact he's married to the actress, everyone here at SHEmazing! HQ fell all over themselves.

During an interview with ET Online, John gave an insight into his relationship with Emily, saying: "I mean, I don't know who meets Emily Blunt and doesn't hope that you get to become her husband."

"Marriage has always been an incredibly sacred thing that you're hoping gets to come your way and something where you get to share happiness with someone else, so I've always respected the idea of marriage and wanted to get married," John said.

Focussing specifically on Emily, whom he married in July 2010, John sounds as smitten as he was when he first met her in 2008.

"But Emily, through any lens, is someone that you just pinch yourself that you even get to be around her, let alone married to her," he said.

And yes ladies, that IS the sound of us collapsing.

If you're making a silver screen adaptation of a best-selling novel, you're going to want to impress the author, right?

Well, it looks like the casting agents for The Girl on the Train forgot to factor in Paula Hawkin's thought process when it came to choosing an actress for the role of Rachel Watson.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Paula admitted that her vision of the character was not quite on par with that of movie execs who plumped for Devil Wears Prada star, Emily.

Explaining that Rachel is an overweight divorcee with an alcohol problem, the author said of Emily: "Oh, she's too beautiful to play Rachel."

"They've done their best," Paula acknowledged. "I mean to sort of make her look a bit sh*t, but you know…"

Despite insisting that Emily's good looks defied her original image of the character, Paula heaped praise upon the actress saying she did 'an extraordinary job' in the highly-anticipated movie.

At the beginning of any relationship, we endeavour to present the best versions of ourselves to our other halves.

Hell, we don't know how long it will last, so no point putting the brakes on too early by revealing our true selves – lure them into a false sense of security and all that.

And it seems it's no different for those in the public eye either.

According to Elle, John Krasinski tried so hard to present the most 'normal' aspect of himself to Emily Blunt, he accidentally made her think he was in the habit of watching porn.

Not wanting to reveal he was an uber Devil Wears Prada fan too soon into their dating days, The Office star attempted to hide his love of the film from Emily who played Meryl Streep's underling in the 2006 box office hit.

"We had just started dating and she had come over to my house. She popped by in between some things and I was watching it," John, who now shares two children with Emily, recalled.

"She opened the door and I flipped the channel and she looked at me like, 'Were you just watching porn?'…I think it was better for me at the time for her to think I was watching porn than watching The Devil Wears Prada for the seventy-fifth time," he explained.

Unsurprisingly, as their relationship progressed, John, 36, felt comfortable enough to reveal just how much he loves and adores the film.

"There was one day when it was on and I said it was so good and Emily said, 'Have you seen this movie?'" John remembered.

"I said, 'A lot of times.' She said, 'That's so sweet, but how many times?' Luckily, we had been dating for about a year so there was a lot of trust built up and I said, 'Like 75.'

75? It's still nothing on us.
