Irish First Dates star Daphney Sanasie has pleaded guilty to harassing celebrity TV chef, Dylan McGrath.

The disturbing texts included messages about "demons and souls," as well as unwanted graphic pictures.

Before Daphney appeared on First Dates Ireland last year, she had been on two dates with Dylan, after meeting him through a mutual friend.

However, after the dates went downhill, Dylan stopped texting the model and that's apparently when the harassment began.

According to the Independent, Mr McGrath felt "threatened" by the texts and at first tried to ignore them, but after they reached a "crescendo" he had to tell the guards.

In 2014, the pair went out on two dates, on February 7 and 14, but after that Dylan wanted no more contact.

When Daphney persisted in texting him via SMS and Whatsapp, he told her "stop texting me" and mentioned "not having the patience for the silliness in the text messages."

Then, Ms Sanasie turned up at Dylan's Dublin restaurant with security guards and a photographer. When she arrived, Dylan told her to not to come to his restaurant and that he had "family issues" to deal with and "didn't want drama right now."

However, things went from bad to worse when Daphney continued to harass the chef by text, and on September 9, things "reach a crescendo."

On that day, she sent over 120 Whatsapp messages to the Masterchef star, along with three of graphic content.

When the accused was arrested on December 1, she told gardaí that she didn't think Dylan meant it when he told her to stop.

As Mr McGrath left the Criminal Courts of Justice, he said: "I'm glad it's over."

Inspired by New York's hip Meatpacking district, it's often been touted as one of the capital's most chic eateries since launching close-to four years ago.

And certainly, Fade Street Social – part of celebrity chef Dylan McGrath's string of restaurants – draws in a seriously cool crowd, including the likes of Beyonce and Jay-Z, who ate there in March 2014.

However, the Food Safety Authority Of Ireland has today revealed that Fade Street Social was last month ordered to CLOSE DOWN by environmental health officers.

Shut for a full day on July 15, the FSAI ordered the closure because it "deemed that there is or there is likely to be a grave and immediate danger to public health at or in the premises".

On its website, Fade Street Social boasts that it serves "the very best of homegrown produce," adding that "freshness is the real hero".

When Beyonce and Jay-Z visited the spot two-and-a-half years ago, the Irish Independent reported that Queen Bey tucked into the pumpkin flatbreads garnished with fresh rosemary, parmesan, onion purée, sliced chestnut and fried mushroom, while her rapper husband opted for a classic strip steak and a serving of chips.

Masterchef Ireland is returning to our screens tonight.

With the high standards that have been shown in the last few years, we can’t wait to see what this year’s amateur chefs have in store.

During the launch of the TV programme, Dylan McGrath addressed why he enjoys doing the show and the growing awareness of food in Ireland: “We do the show because we have a ball making it and also because it is giving restaurants the boost they need. I think it is an incredible time for restaurants in Ireland … Ireland has become a real food nation.”

Dylan McGrath runs the famous Rustic Stone restaurant on George’s St  as well as Fade St. Social on Fade St. in Dublin. He will be joined on Masterchef Ireland once again by Nick Munier, co-owner of Pichet restaurant in Trinty Lane, Dublin.

Masterchef Ireland will air Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8.30pm on RTÉ  One.
