News hit the public yesterday that UK rapper Stormzy and TV presenter Maya Jama had split up after four years together, but now another controversy is spreading.

Stormzy, who's real name is Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, has denied rumours that the couple broke up as a result of his infidelity with singer Jorja Smith.

Stormzy's representative, who also manages Smith, told Metro.co.uk: "Yes, I can confirm the relationship has ended and Maya has separated from Stormzy."

"I can confirm any accusations or reports surrounding Stormzy’s infidelity to Maya are categorically not true." 22-year-old Jorja and Stormzy collaborated on Let Me Down last year.

A source close to Maya told The Sun that the 25-year-old had split from the 26-year-old rapper because she wanted to focus on her career.

“Maya has moved out of their home in South West London. The decision isn’t one she has come to lightly, but ultimately the relationship has come to an end."

“She wants to focus on her TV and radio career for now.

The couple met at Red Bull’s Culture Clash five years ago, and started dating in January of 2015.

Maya said of meeting the Glastonbury headliner for the first time: “You know, if I’m really honest, I knew I fancied him from the start."

“But I didn’t want anything yet, because, you know, you’re trying to do the whole friend situation first, and then I’d do, like, obvious hints that I fancied him and then take it back because I didn’t know if he definitely liked me," she continued.

"It was a childish phase. And then one day we just kissed, and that was that.”

The pair temporarily unfollowed each other on social media last year, fuelling rumours of a split.

Irish blogger and stylist Ciara O'Doherty has launched an opulent hair couture accessories brand, Taylor & Rose.

The YouTuber launched her new brand last night, and we were beside ourselves browsing through the ornate, distinct collection.

The stylist has curated a collection of decadent pieces with multiple influences.

Ranging from baroque-inspired earrings to embellished headbands that would be right at home in Blair Waldorf's walk-in closet, the statement pieces are varied throughout the collection.

The trophy pieces are in the premium accessory price bracket, with intricate crowns retailing at up to €145.00, but there is a wide range of prices on site, with stunning gold hair pieces starting at €12.00

'The idea for it started over a year ago when I was putting together an outfit for a fashion event here in Dublin,' said Ciara.

'I was looking for a really special headpiece – I wanted something unique, luxurious and affordable – and after searching high and low I realised that this was a collection that I wanted to bring to life myself.'

'Taylor & Rose is all about hair couture, and creating your own bespoke hair look for that special occasion.'

'So whether it's a soft elegant hair vine or an opulent regal crown, I wanted to bring Irish women a collection of high fashion hair accessories without the designer price tag – because we all deserve to feel like a Queen for a day!'

We adore the ornate crucifix earrings, and the crowns are one way of proving your regal sartorial credentials.

As well as playing host to luxurious Baroque-style accessories, there are also a number of holiday-perfect pieces.

In bright colours and patterns, the textured pom-pom hoop earrings are a SHEmazing fave.

While the idea for the collection was spurned from creative necessity, the name of the brand is personal.

'The name Taylor & Rose is inspired by two very special women,' said the blogger.

'The first is the iconic Elizabeth Taylor (who loved wearing crowns) and the second is my mum, Rose, who will always be my Queen!'

The collection is currently available online

We know exactly where we'll be turning for unique, opulent hair pieces this season…

Ah, the classic beauty pageant.

We all know the drill by now: the beautiful models, the glitzy dresses, the sashes, the super awkward if not creepy hosts, the horrendous talent portion and of course the crowning of the winner as she weeps delicately.

So what happens when you accidently lose the crown? Well, this was the mare faced by the organisers of the Miss Universe Ireland pageant which is taking place tomorrow.

The headpiece, which is specifically commissioned by a company in the US, was reportedly stolen from the studio of the pageant organiser, Evan Doherty. Uh oh!

"The crown was left in my studio and someone broke in and grabbed it. So there’s someone walking around Dublin now with a very nice looking piece."

The pageant was inevitably thrown into absolute chaos and Evan had no choice but to get in touch with the American company in order to request an emergency crown.

Well, you can all breathe a sigh of relief because the company arranged for a replica headpiece to arrive just in time for the grand final. What good luck!

The trauma sounds remarkably similar to a curious incident that befell another prestigious Irish event, the Miss Ireland pageant, back in 2011. According to reports, the crown also went missing the day before the pageant following a photo shoot.

The missing crown miraculously turned up the next day, just in time for the final.

The winner of tomorrow's pageant will go on to represent Ireland in the Miss Universe pageant taking place in Las Vegas in December.

Twenty-two girls will be vying to impress the judges who include Irish model Roz Purcell in order to win a seemingly endless supply of beauty products, a modelling contract and the opportunity to represent Ireland in Vegas.

And she will, thank goodness, have a crown.

Okay, so the Rose of Tralee trended on Twitter for the past two nights so we may as well admit it – we love it.

Whether you love to love it or love to hate it, you’ll love this!

The Philadelphia Rose, Maria Walsh, walked away with the coveted crown last night, and her brother, Kevin’s reaction as he watched from afar has been recorded and shared on the internet (obviously).

Watch as he jumps up, proud of his sister and super adorbs.
