Bruce Jenner

We all harbour the awkward memories of our very first kiss.

Whether it was absolute teenage perfection or the worst thing that ever happened, the memories still tend to make us cringe (mine was on a school bus for goodness sake!).

Well it turns out that even for the most successful of top models come reality stars, the memories are equally as painful.

Kendall Jenner's first kiss took place in a shower with none other than the son of Bruce Jenner's then co-star.

Yep, the lucky guy was the son of Larry Wilcox who co-starred with Bruce in the 80s crime drama CHiPS

And the whole scenario did actually sound pretty adorable.

The 20-year-old shared the details of the personal moment she shared with Chad Wilcox when she was just 11-years-old in a recent post on her website.

Her and a friend plotted a game of Truth or Dare with the end goal of sealing a kiss with Chad, who she claims she was mildly "obsessed" with at the time.

"Finally, we got to the Truth or Dare kissing, [a friend] and I didn’t want to do it in front of each other so Chad and I went in the shower behind the curtain."

"And that’s how the magic of my first kiss went down!"

We love how cute and NORMAL Kendall's first romantic moment was, but our memories are about ten times worse.

Since splitting a year ago and subsequently divorcing, Kris and Caitlyn Jenner – parents to teenagers Kendall and Kylie – have understandably weathered their fair share of storms.

And while both have previously voiced their criticisms of one another, now the world's most famous momager has REALLY come out fighting – speaking angrily about her former husband's high-profile Vanity Fair interview.

The Call Me Cait covershoot marked the reality TV star's transition from Bruce to Caitlyn.

With the likes of Barack Obama publicly praising her "courage," the publication went on to spark waves of support internationally, as well as better awareness of the transgender community.

Yet the accompanying interview – which was fairly disparaging of the 65-year-old Olympian's marriage to Kris – raised eyebrows… evidently not least in the Kardashian-Jenner household.

Now, in the most recently aired episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Ms Jenner can be seen deeply upset by her ex-husband's words.

"He can go f*** himself!" Kris, 59, sobbed on the phone to her daughter Kim immediately after the July-issue magazine was released.

"I honestly wish I never met this man. I mean, just f*** you Bruce," Kris added. She also wondered: "It’s just crazy to me that Caitlyn would not discuss the years of really happy times."

Khloe, 31, nailed her colours to the mast, chipping in with: "I’m not going to be fully supportive if she’s not fully supportive of mom."

Scott Disick, 32, the former partner of Kourtney, added the former Bruce Jenner only cared about amassing Twitter followers, while even 34-year-old Kim said that she was really "upset and hurt," by what was said.

In the Vanity Fair interview, Caitlyn claimed she was "mistreated," and "controlled" during her 25-year marriage to Kris. "A lot of times she wasn’t very nice," Caitlyn continued.

She went on to say that once Keeping Up With The Kardashians began to air in 2007 and Kris had her own money, "in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me".

Since transitioning to life as a woman, Caitlyn Jenner has had to "reintroduce" herself to various members of her family, from her daughters and step-daughters to her mother Esther.

Now though, the reality star has finally had one of the most anticipated meetings of all, with her ex-wife Kris Jenner. The former couple met in person yesterday at Caitlyn's Malibu home for what was no doubt an emotional couple of hours.

Kris' black SUV was seen leaving the Malibu mansion yesterday afternoon, confirming speculation the exes had met. According to Hollywood Life, "momager" Kris was the one who initiated the meeting, despite being hesitant to see Caitlyn in person immediately following her transformation.

"Kris was super uncomfortable and rigid at first. She definitely didn’t know how to act around Caitlyn. They avoided anything serious for awhile making small talk about clothes and the kids," a source told the gossip site. However the ice was soon broken as the pair laughed about “looking fat in paparazzi photos."

Although Kris was openly distraught and angry about the news that Caitlyn was set to publicly transition to life as a woman, she has come out of the situation with the utmost respect for her ex, who she was married to for 23 years.

Speaking in Cannes last month, following the publication of Caitlyn's now-iconic Vanity Fair cover, the 59-year-old said she thought her bravery was "amazing," adding, "I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy."

And it seems the feeling is mutual, as Caitlyn had nothing but love and praise for her ex-wife in a recent interview.

"You know, Kris is a really good woman and I love her to death," the former Olympian said during E!'s two-part documentary About Bruce. "And the love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming."

The hugely anticipated docu-series I Am Cait had its American premiere earlier this week on E!, but the show hasn't received as many positive reactions as were expected.

It seems like we have been waiting a LONG time for this series to air; certainly, it has been hugely publicised since Caitlyn underwent gender transitioning earlier this year.

Even with all the hype the show received, viewing figures were not as high as the show producers had expected – and some of the reviews have so far been far from positive.

The first episode brought in around 2.7million viewers, which is just above what Keeping Up With The Kardashians usually brings in, but is still well under what was expected.

These numbers are compared to a huge 17million who tuned in to watch Caitlyn's interview with Diane Sawyer and 8million who watched her ESPY's acceptance speech.

Furthermore, many viewers felt it was staged and scripted rather than being true 'reality' TV.

The New York Times reported that "there’s no reason to doubt Ms Jenner’s sincerity when she cites statistics about suicide among transgender teenagers or consoles a grieving parent, but you also can’t help noticing how she seems to be reading from a script.”

Vulture.com was also dismissive, saying "each scene felt as choreographed as a ballet, as deftly applied as the hair extensions we see Kylie and Cait giggle over: Fake, but fake for our behalf."

The programme will air on August 2 in Ireland.

If numerous reports are to be believed, the relationship between Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner has become seriously strained in the aftermath of the former's phenomenal unveiling.

But tonight, Caitlyn took to Facebook to clear up any confusion.

She said: "Reading the Vanity Fair article reminded me of the love & good times Kris & I shared for so many years.

"Wouldn’t trade that time for anything!"

The pair, who were married for more than 25 years before their divorce was finalised earlier this year, have two daughters together: Kendall, 19, and 17-year-old Kylie.

Caitlyn furthermore assisted in the raising of Kris's children from her marriage to the late Robert Kardashian: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob.

She also has an additional four adult children from her two other marriages.

In the high-profile Vanity Fair interview which accompanied Caitlyn's debut, she revealed: "The first 15 years I felt she needed me more because I was the breadwinner."

She went on to say that once Keeping Up With The Kardashians aired and Kris had "her own money," things changed: "I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me."

Caitlyn continued: "A lot of times she wasn't very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money, all that kind of stuff."

She also insisted in the same interview that Kris was well aware that the former Bruce Jenner had taken female hormones in the late 1980s.

Indeed, she concluded that her gender issues were only part of their marital problems: "Twenty percent was gender and 80 percent was the way I was treated."

The world finally met Caitlyn Jenner for the first time on Monday with a beautiful spread of photos in Vanity Fair.

Now that we've seen what she looks like, Caitlyn is ready to share her full story in a new eight-part documentary series kicking off on E! at the end of July.

The docu-series, titled I Am Cait, will show the reality star beginning her new life as a transgender woman, and telling her own story for the first time. I Am Cait will also give viewers an insight into how the transition has affected the people in her life, including her family and close friends.

A first clip from the series premiered on TODAY this morning, and shows Caitlyn discussing her transition with the cameras, and looking downright stunning in the process.

"So many people go through life and they never deal with their own issues," the star says of her decision to go public with her journey.

"Maybe this is my greatest calling in life. Be honest to myself and be honest to my family," she concludes.

While Diane Sawyer's interview with Bruce back in April gave the world an insight into the process that lay ahead, this will be a first in-depth look at Caitlyn's new life as a woman.

Caitlyn Jenner broke the internet yesterday when she officially shed her former male identity with a beautiful Vanity Fair spread.

With the publication of an incredible series of photos by renowned photographer Annie Liebowitz, Caitlyn told Vanity Fair writer Buzz Bissinger that she finally felt "free."

Speaking on Good Morning America earlier today, Buzz gave some further insight into Caitlyn's journey over the last few months, as she prepared to reveal herself to the world.

A hugely important part of that process? Choosing a new name.

Along with the now-iconic Vanity Fair cover, one of the most talked-about topics over the last 24 hours has been Caitlyn Jenner's name, and Buzz revealed that it was picked with extreme care.

"She made a list of names, had a close friend make a list of names. Caitlyn was on both," Buzz told host Robin Roberts.

While it would have certainly been a dramatic gesture to choose a "K" name like her daughters and ex-wife, the reality star was clear that was not something she wanted to do. "Folks, it's Caitlyn with a C," Buzz emphasised.

The Vanity Fair interview also details Caitlyn's uncertainty about whether what she was doing was the right thing, and her massive panic attack in March of this year following her facial-feminisation surgery.

"What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?," Caitlyn told the magazine of her though process after the surgery. With the help of a counsellor Caitlyn says she was able to work through those negative thoughts, many of which were attributed to the effects of pain medication.

What a journey it has been so far for Caitlyn Jenner – we can't wait to see what's next.

It's certainly been a roller-coaster journey for the former Bruce Jenner.

Since announcing that she is a trans-woman a little over a month ago in an emotional interview with Diane Sawyer, she – not to mention the unveiling of her new identity – has been the subject of intense speculation.

But now the Vanity Fair edition which features the reality TV star and former Olympian as 'Caitlyn' has been released.

In the cover shot, which was taken by the renowned Annie Leibovitz, Ms Jenner looks sensational in a cream-coloured bodice. Sitting on a stool against a brilliant gold background, 65-year-old Caitlyn has her arms folded behind her back.

Her softly-curled hair is swept away from her face, and she sports subtle makeup.

Bruce has yet to appear publicly as a woman, although the Vanity Fair cover certainly marks a significant milestone in her transition.

In a minute-long promotional video, the star can also be seen sporting a sleek black dress with an elegant sweetheart neckline. Another snap-shot shows her in a full-length sequence gown.

In the same clip she describes the shoot as being "about my life" and "who I am as a person".

"It's not about the fanfare," she goes on to say. "It's not about people cheering in the stadiums; it's not about me going down the street and people going 'thatta boy, Bruce,' and giving me a pat on the back."

She adds: "Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie. Every day he always had a secret, from morning til night.

"Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out… I'm free."

Caitlyn said in January that she has no plans to undergo gender-reassignment surgery, but that that may be an option in the future. An E! special tell-all featuring her family, Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce, aired in two parts last month.

Her stepdaughter Kim Kardashian, whom Caitlyn has praised as being particularly supportive, revealed to Access Hollywood also last month that she had "just recently met her" and that it was an "amazing" experience.

"She looked beautiful," Kim, who just announced she is expecting her second child, said.

"She was dressed up: beautiful makeup, beautiful hair," Kim went on to say. She further stated that seeing Caitlyn as a woman "felt really natural".

Ms Jenner has already set up a verified Twitter account under her new name, and it quickly amassed hundreds of thousands of followers.

Caitlyn has six children from her three marriages: she has teenage daughters Kylie and Kendall from her third, most recent marriage to Kris Jenner.

Then there are two sons, Brody and Brandon, from a second marriage to actress Linda Thompson, as well as daughter Casey and son Burt from her first union with Chrystie Jenner.

She also has stepchildren in Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian.

Since he finally confirmed the news that he is transitioning into a woman during that emotional interview with Diane Sawyer, the world has been waiting for the moment that we get to meet the new Bruce Jenner.

Now, a source has revealed that plans are already in motion and Bruce will appear as a woman for the first time in a very special issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

According to People, the 65-year-old has agreed to appear on the magazine’s cover, with the images set to be shot by the legendary and acclaimed photographer, Annie Leibovitz.

While no specific details regarding the issue or the date have been revealed as of yet, industry insiders say that the magazine will hit stands later this summer.

This ties in with what Bruce told Khloe when she asked if he was planning on ‘not being Bruce’ very soon. At the time, the devoted dad responded: “That’s quite possible, yeah.”

Keeping Up With the Kardashians recently dedicated a two-hour special to Bruce’s announcement, focusing on how his family reacted to the news of his gender transition.

We are delighted to see so much support for Bruce and his brave decision.

Just last week, a Keeping Up With the Kardashians two-part special showed Bruce Jenner revealing details of his gender transition to his family.

The former Olympian told the world in an interview in April that he was currently transitioning to life as a woman and was undergoing a number of facial surgeries as well as hormonal treatment.

He admitted that he feared his youngest daughters Kylie and Kendall, aged 19 and 17, would take the news the hardest. In last week's episode of the show, Kendall was seen tearfully asking her dad to be honest about his plans, and now Kylie has opened up about her own struggles to cope with the changes.

"My sisters always try and make me talk about everything but I don't want to right now," she told the cameras in last night's new episode. "People deal with things in different ways."

The teenager's life is the envy of many, but it's not all parties and selfies, as she revealed in a painfully honest admission. "I feel like I go through these times where I hate my life," she said.

Later in the show, Bruce admitted he worries the most about how Kylie is coping out of all his children, and fears that she will "emotionally go away" and withdraw into herself.

"Kylie's the one we're really worried about… She's having a hard time dealing with this. I do everything I can to try to stay in touch but she doesn't want to talk about it. She's just shut me out lately," he revealed to a friend.

By the end of the episode, Kylie did seem as if she was coming around to the idea of saying goodbye to the "old Bruce", though. "He's making all of these changes but I want to make sure I keep a close bond with him," she said.

We're glad to see Bruce has the support of his family behind him.

It's been a big week for the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but they are still doing their best to be there for one another.

Over the last two nights, a Keeping Up With the Kardashians two-part special, titled About Bruce, has aired in the US. The two episodes detail the family's reaction to the news that Bruce Jenner is currently transitioning to life as a woman.

Filmed at the beginning of this year, the About Bruce special features some extremely emotional interactions between Bruce, his daughters, his step-daughters and his ex-wife Kris.

While it seems Bruce's daughters Kendall and Kylie took the news that they were "losing" the dad they knew very hard, that does not mean they won't stand by him.

In a show of support for her loving father, 19-year-old Kendall this week changed her Twitter profile picture to a sweet throwback shot of herself, Bruce and her younger sister Kylie.

The image, which shows the three smiling for the camera in a garden, is a clear sign that Kendall's love for her dad has not changed despite the circumstances.

Kendall also took to Instagram late last night to share a sweet message about the relationship between her and Bruce. The series of images, from a home video filmed when Kendall was a baby, show Bruce telling his newborn daughter that even when she's grown up he would still be her "friend."

Bruce Jenner may have openly discussed his gender transition journey during his tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer last month, but until now he has not discussed how his children and stepchildren took the revelation.

The first segment of a two-part Keeping Up With the Kardashians special, titled About Bruce, aired last night, and it shows just how tough the news was for the girls to take – and that more than one of them had always suspected something was going on.

Discussing Bruce's transition, mum-of-one Kim said that she had known since she was a child that Bruce enjoyed dressing in female clothes – and that she first became aware of his plans to change his gender over ten years ago.

"It's been kind of my job to keep this secret for over a decade," Kim told the cameras.

For Bruce's stepdaughter Khloé and his teen daughters Kendall and Kylie, the most difficult part of the process was that Bruce was not totally up front with them about his plans.

During one tearful conversation, filmed in January 2015, Khloé is seen telling Bruce that it is his responsibility to tell the girls exactly what is going on. "I have always supported you, but I don't think it's fair that you won't tell us how close this is in the near future," she said of his reluctance to tell them when he would reveal his female identity to the world.

"There's no right way to do this," counters Bruce.

Pushed by Khloé, Bruce told his daughters that within five to six months, his new female identity would replace him.

Kylie in particular found the news difficult to discuss on camera. "He sat me down. He told me everything," she said, before becoming too emotional to continue.

As for Kendall, she admitted that she had always known something was going on but that she had never realised how far it went. "We'd find makeup, like lipstick, and we'd think he was having an affair and we didn't want our family broken up so we didn't tell anyone," Kendall revealed.

The 19-year-old model also recalled one incident when she saw Bruce dressed as a woman at home. "I woke up to go and get water and I came down the stairs and went into the kitchen and I saw him…. and I just backed up and I ran up the stairs quietly and I went to bed," she explained.

The second part of the KUWTK: About Bruce episode airs tonight.
