While we would love to take our time applying our makeup in the morning, getting ourselves ready to face the day at our leisure, sometimes we just need to get up and go. That’s why we were so happy to hear that Clarins are launching some new products that are seriously going to cut down on time.

Their Easy Looks collection features two new duo products to enhance the eye area, perfect to keep with you if you're rushing out the door.

Eye-shadow palettes (six versions) – €43

Firstly, they are launching a selection of four-colour eye shadows with an integrated primer. Find the one you love among the six different collections, from the lightest palette to the darkest. The colour-combinations include: Fairytale Nude, showcasing natural neutrals; Rosewood, which includes shimmery shades of pink and dark brown; Flame, giving us vibrant oranges, and sunset tones; Brown Sugar, offering deep gold and bronzed browns; Jade, which incorporates matte and shimmery, earthy shades and Midnight, which includes hues of sparkling blue.

The best part about these eye-shadows is that there’s no need to apply a base! These 2-in-1 eyeshadows have an integrated primer and promote perfect adhesion to the eyelids. For 12 hours, colour is even and instant, it won’t budge.

Brow2Go – €24

Because eyebrows are a major player in achieving expressive eye contours, Clarins have developed Brow Duo: the promise of perfect brows in just two steps. Available in 5 shades, it sculpts and creates full brows while setting and intensifying them. On one end, an applicator makes it possible to take up the innovative and long-wearing texture: a coloured powder that turns into a fresh, water-based gel as soon as it is applied. It’s like magic!

On the other end, a brush which grooms brows with a tinted gel mascara with lasting results. In just two steps, Brow Duo enhances eyebrows for a more intense eye look!

Precision Eyeliner

Continue your eye make-up with Clarins 3-Dot Liner. Its unique three-pronged applicator makes it possible to fill in, dot by dot, the area between the lashes to naturally highlight the eyes and create fuller-looking lashes. A fun and easy way to apply eye make-up.

Add Volume

Continue with a hint of Supra Volume Mascara. It intensifies the eyes and adds volume and thickness to the lashes thanks to its cocktail of vegetal waxes of carnauba and cassie flower.

Joli Rouge Lacquers – €24

Apply one of the three new shades of Joli Rouge Lacquer. They include: Sandy Pink, Woodberry and Deep Red. This intense-colour lip balm delivers ultra-lacquer shine, smoothing comfort and high dose colour pigments. Thanks to organic marsh samphire extract and 70% hydrating oils, lips are smoothed and softened day after day.

Make-up Corrector Pen – €20

Big make-up goof? That happens… No need to panic, here is a way to fix anything, anytime. To make your life easier, Clarins imagined this Make-up Corrector Pen, a gentle make-up erasing brush you can use anywhere. Thanks to its precise felt tip, it removes unwanted traces of make-up from the eyes and the lips without touching the rest of the make-up on your face. It's enriched in jojoba oil which is known for its ability to nourish the skin without feeling oily.

Also, it comes with three refills for around 300 uses in total… which almost makes you want to make a mess on purpose!

Clarins Easy Looks autumn collection is available from selected Clarins stockists nationwide from August 31 and currently available on clarins.ie.

A Southampton based beauty studio has shared the dark side of the microbladed brows trend.

The treatment has gained massive popularity in recent years, however, not all therapists are apparently equal in skill and talent.

Moss Brows posted to their Facebook page last week, revealing some less-than perfect finished products from unknown therapists.

A post shared by Laura Moss Brows (@moss_brows) on

'These poor ladies asked for the natural hair stroke effect but what they were left with was the complete opposite,' reads the post.

The brow specialists finish with a warning to 'do your research,' essential for anyone considering the treatment.

The Facebook post has since gone viral, with thousands of reactions and shares.

The images were originally shared by The Brow & Beauty Boutique, based in Hertfordshire.

'However I am coming across lots of these images of real women who have had their eyebrows “microbladed” (butchered),' reads their post. 'This is happening up and down the country damaging trusting women’s faces! Causing permanent scaring!'

The boutique advises asking the following questions when looking for a microblade technician, and to look at previous work and reviews.

  • Are they qualified, insured and licensed by their local council?
  • Are they using correct the sterile equipment?
  • Are they clean?
  • Do they use correct numbing cream to meet standards? (Max strength 5%)

There are always plenty of odd Instagram beauty trends doing the rounds online, and the latest involves a set of very bold brows.

Feather eyebrows have taken the online beauty community by storm, with tonnes of posts in the hashtag showing off the daring look.

A post shared by Stella Sironen (@stella.s.makeup) on

The response has been very love-hate, with some hailing it as the ultimate festival eyebrow, and others hating on the face-framers entirely.

Talented makeup artist Stella Sironen started the trend, after posting an up-close photo of her feathery brows to Instagram.

"So i'm starting this new brow trend please recreate it and wear it everyday, " she jokingly captioned her Instagram post.

The MUA gave full credit to her pal who accidentally stumbled upon the look while brushing her brows

The look has since spread all over the internet, with multiple MUAs recreating the feather brow.

While the look is pretty cool, unusual and artistic, it may have to be reserved for the uber-cool festival fashionistas, rather than being a day-to-day brow.

Kudos to these MUAs for their creativity.

As any beauty junkie will tell you, the perfect Christmas party look starts with impeccably groomed brows.

While you might be thinking a trip to the salon is in order, at-home HD brows are more than possible if you have the right kit.

We've teamed up with the crew at AYU Make Up Brushes to put together this simple four-step guide to perfect brows.

AYU, a name derived from the Indonesian word meaning ‘beautiful’, is an Irish-owned company set up by make-up artist Suzanne O’Neill and her sister Laura Maher.

Their aim is to deliver professional quality brushes at seriously reasonable prices. All brushes used in this video are available online on AYU's website.

We're massive fans of the strong-brow look around these parts: in fact, we say the fuller the better.

However, we had to raise, well raise an eyebrow to Lauren Goodger's makeup-free look when we spotted snaps of her leaving the gym earlier today.

Without her usual layers of slap – her brows were visible in all their natural (so to speak) state.

And wowsers are they seriously FIERCE.

However, it seems that online commentators we're not entirely supportive of the 29-year-old's striking style.

"Liam Gallagher called, he wants his eyebrows back," said one – with another suggesting: "Her eye-brows make her look as though she passed out at a stag party."

Of course, the former Towie star and businesswoman has lost a significant amount of weight throughout 2015, an achievement a third observer reckoned she could easily build on.

"She would lose another stone if she wiped them off!" they said lightheartedly.

If you love a strong-brow look (and yes, pretty much everyone does), then you're probably already coveting the incredible arches of one Zendaya.

Yes, the singer and actress might just about have the most perfect eyebrows we've ever seen (sorry, Cara).

She usually pairs her statement brows with a complementing cat-eye and a soft nude or rose-hued lip.

However, whether she's dressed up or dressed down, those on fleek brow are still very much there present and correct.

So now the only question is… how do we too get our hands on Zendaya's brows?

OK, so the 19-year-old was definitely given a major helping hand genetically, but certainly the LA-native is giving us all-sorts of browspiration.

Here, SHEmazing! examines the five best products for fabulouso eyebrows.

1) Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo: Priced at €20.20, this product is fab for filling in gaps and inconsistencies.

2) Benefit Speed Brow: Set in lightning-quick time and gives a gorgeous, natural finish that Zendaya would be proud of.

3) RevitaBrow Advanced: Yup, it's €75 BUT if you're desperate and have serious case of over-plucking, this is brilliant to re-growth.

4) MAC Brow Set: Another quick 'n' easy product, this is perfect for a sleek look and ramains a stable of bloggers and makeup artists. Priced at €18.

5) Ottie Natural Drawing Auto Pencil: A steal at just €7.50, this flat pencil can twist and turn to do just about anything.

When it comes to eyebrows, not everyone can pull off the same shape. While full brows seem to be working for Cara Delevingne, it doesn’t mean they’ll do you any justice.  The key to having nice eyebrows is having the RIGHT eyebrows.

Here’s how you can play with what you have and craft luxurious and perfectly groomed brows:

  1. Make sure the start of your brows are lined with the upper bridge of your nose.
  2. Give yourself some guidelines by filling your brows in with a brow pencil before you pluck. Remember your arch should be two thirds of the way across your brow.
  3. After drawing on your brows, brush them upwards.
  4. Fill in any gaps with brow powder that’s one or two shades lighter than your natural hair color if you’re a brunette and two or three shades darker if you’re fair haired.
  5. Trim any unwanted hair and then apply a wax so that your brows will stay in place.
