Liam Hemsworth has made his first statement regarding his break up with Miley Cyrus, which was announced last weekend.

Posting to Instagram, the actor wrote that this will be the only statement he will make on the matter, and wished for only positivity for his long-time lover;

Cyrus and Hemsworth announced their split seven months after they wed, after dating on and off for almost 10 years after meeting on the set of The Last Song.

Hemsworth has maintained a silence on social media since the frenzy began worldwide over the news. The 29-year-old's comments came after it was reported that he told Daily Mail Australia;

Cyrus has been posting to her Instagram followers, writing cryptic notes about progress and personal change;

"Don't fight evolution, because you will never win," she wrote, adding that "change is inevitable."

"Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once underwater, connected with Africa, change is inevitable."

The Mother's Daughter singer added; "My dad always told me; 'Nature never hurries but it is always on time'….It fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. A rep for the singer said last Saturday;

"Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.

"They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus like to keep things chill and casual, by the sounds of things.

The adorable couple married in a quaint living room ceremony at the end of last year, and surprised us all. Miley only had ONE request for the special day, and it's pretty unconventional.

Miley is a woman of simple taste, and we'll take ANY detail at all about their low-key nuptials. They're a relatable couple, seemingly, but we'd definitely be more picky about the dress than dumplings.

"That was my only rider," she said. "I would do anything for dumplings. You could add nothing else. I didn't even need a dress. I was trying to wear leggings and a hoodie. I just wanted dumplings, that's all."

While attending the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala, Miley and her parents honoured her godmother, Dolly Parton.

She made sure to give a KILLAH performance with Shawn Mendes while she was there, because why not? She also walked the red carpet on Liam's behalf the other night for the premiere of his new flick, Isn't It Romantic.

Miley and Liam have us feelin' pretty damn jealous of how pure goals-y they are. We wish we could have gone to their wedding soirée, we do enjoy dumplings.

Miley's dad shared an image of his daughter donning a white dress, leading to speculation that Miley and long-time love Liam Hemsworth have secretly tied the knot.

Despite her manager denying the rumours to Us Weekly, fans are still speculating over the post.

Billy Ray also added fuel to the fire by retweeting fans asking about the post. 

“Did she get married….” one user asked.“I saw this and automatically thought wedding..”  

“Did Miley get married?! I NEED ANSWERS,” said another. 

We'd be thrilled if the pair decided to take the plunge and get hitched!

However, when it came to Blake's birthday yesterday, Ryan took quite a different approach when wishing her a good day.

The Deadpool star took to Twitter, and instead said happy birthday to Billy Ray Cyrus, who shares the same birthday with Blake.

"Just want to wish Billy Ray Cyrus the most special, magical birthday ever. I love you with all my heart."

He then added at the end: "Also, Happy Birthday to my wife."

And Billy Ray actually replied to Ryan, telling him: "Thanks man, you really know how to mend an Achy Breaky Heart!

Billy Ray Cyrus announced on Twitter that he is going to be grandfather. 

The country singer made the revelation on Twitter, writing: : “’m going to be a grandfather, Call me Papaw.”

Fans of his daughter Miley instantly started to think that the singer could be expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger. 

However, Billy Ray obviously realised his daughter may not be too happy that he hadn't made it clear it was all just a joke and so he once again to to his Twitter account to verify that he was just kidding. 

Sharing a hilarious snap of a fake ultrasound Miley had posted on her Instagram days previously, Billy Ray wrote: “Yep..Papaw Cyrus.”

So, it looks as if Billy Ray’s tweets were all just a reaction to the tabloid stories doing the rounds at the moment that Miley is pregnant. 

Well, at least we know how excited Billy Ray will be when some happy baby news does eventually come around!
