Big Brother

When two people come together to merge as a new family, it's an emotional time, especially if one person has children who need to adapt to a new parental role model in their life.

It's never easy; a mix of impressionable personalities trying to adjust to a new family dynamic.

Someone who knows all about this is TV presenter Jeff Brazier and his sons, Bobby and Freddie. They've all had to adjust as they heartbreakingly lost their partner and mum nine years ago.

Jade passed away from cervical cancer back in 2009, and Jeff has always worked to keep the reality star’s memory alive for his beloved boys, and tried to do everything he could to give them a stable and happy family life.

The boys celebrated a wonderful milestone as Jeff married Kate Dwyer. She has shared the first photos of the happy day, and she said how thrilled she was that they were all a family. Jeff's two sons, thirteen and seventeen, also thanked Kate for making their father so happy.

"Dad always said, 'I want to get married one day – I want to find a nice girl.' And he’s found that girl who he’s going to live with for the rest of his life," thirteen-year-old Bobby said.

"Jeff is the most amazing man I have ever met and I could not wait to be able to call him my husband," Kate told Hello in an exclusive interview. She adorably said that walking towards Jeff and his sons was a "once in a lifetime moment."

Jeff beamingly said he was thrilled to marry his now-wife, and thanked Kate for making their beautiful wedding "a really special one."

"I’m so happy to marry Kate, who has brought so much stability to my life,’ Jeff said. ‘This isn’t just any wedding, this is a really special one. It doesn’t just represent Kate and I putting rings on each other’s fingers. It represents the fact that we won at something really tricky. We won at becoming a family."

He paid tribute to his wife and said she completed the family and gave his sons a real sense of belonging.

"Before it was just three boys rattling around in a house on our own, trying to get through life. Then Kate came along and worked so hard at making us complete. She hasn’t just completed one person, she’s completed a family and given three boys a real sense of belonging," he added.

Congratulations to the family on their gorgeous day!

Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother have officially been axed by Channel 5.

The iconic reality TV shows changed the TV landscape when the first season aired in the year 2000 on Channel 4.

Channel 5 picked up the show in 2011, where it has remained until the final season – they tweeted their 153,000 followers: 'It's time for this game to end. The final series of Big Brother starts tonight at 9pm.'

Rylan Clark Neal also shared with his 1.5million followers: 'After six years working on one of the most iconic shows on television I’m saddened to hear the news Big Brother isn’t returning.'

'It has been the biggest privilege being a housemate, a winner and a host on my favourite show on the television.'

'I hope one day Big Brother will return but my focus now, as with the rest of the team, is to make our last series the best yet.'

The show has faced major criticism in its 18-year run, but has always been popular among it's viewers.

However, with rival show's like Love Island to compete with, Big Brother has seen a steady decline in ratings over the past few years.

Last summer's launch drew an average of 2.2 million viewers – 200,000 less than the previous year.

Both the civilian and celebrity versions have had huge success, relaunching the careers of faded stars and catapulting nobodies into the limelight.

Any bets the series starting tonight will be as outrageous as ever.

We have got the cast for the upcoming, 2018 Celebrity Big Brother, and we cannot wait for the new season to start.

So far, rumours have circled pegging Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas, Katie Price’s husband Kieran Hayler and psychic Sally Morgan as the new season’s cast.

It seems the soap opera theme is trending as ex-Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett recently signed on for the show, and she didn’t come cheap.

According to Daily Star, the reality show has been trying to sign the actress for a while, and this year she agreed to appear on the series for £750,000.

Before the soap star’s price was released, the highest paid actor was Ryan Thomas, who signed onto the show for a total of £500,000, according to Closer.

Since Roxanne’s final episode with Emmerdale in 2009, she has appeared on Dancing on Ice, Waterloo Road, and Casualty.

The former ITV soap actress has also made her stage debut in several musicals including The Rocky Horror Show and The Wedding Singer.

However, her career was halted last month when Roxanne suffered injuries from a traumatic car crash, resulting in two sprained wrists, severe bruising, and a concussion.

The Independent reported that the actress was racing her Minster FM co-host Ben Fry when she slammed into a concrete wall at 40mph.

But she refused to let anxieties from the accident put her life on hold.

“I’m bruised but blessed,” she announced, and thanked her fiancée Lee Walton for being her “rock”.

Roxanne surprised us all last week when she revealed that Lee had proposed to her just one week after the couple began dating.

With no ring in hand, the pair decided to get matching tattoo wedding bands until he saved up enough for a proper ring, reported The Daily Mirror.

He dropped to one knee (again) with a sparkling diamond after her terrifying car crash.

Their love story seems fated, so much so that it could have been written for Emmerdale. #couplegoals

Needless to say, Roxanne has been through a lot this year and is excited for her CBB debut, and probably the paycheck too.

The new season of Celebrity Big Brother will begin this Thursday at 9pm, so stay tuned for some gossip and drama in the TV house.

It looks like one of the UK's favourite reality TV shows could be coming to an end with reports suggesting that Big Brother, and it's celebrity spin-off, are set to be axed after 18 years on air.

According to The Daily Star, Channel 5 bosses are ready to say farewell to the show which first aired on Channel 4 back in 2000.

It seems that plummeting ratings are to blame, with viewers said to have lost interest in the format.

Speaking to the paper, a Big Brother insider said: “There have been conversations between the execs about not renewing the contract for both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother. It would be the end of an era but they feel the time is right to end.”

However, they did note that noting is set in stone, and even suggested that the format may be picked up by another production company should Channel 5 decide to drop it altogether.

"There is still time for the bosses at Channel 5 to change their mind but it is not looking likely. Even if they drop it, another channel or a streaming service may decide to pick it up in the future."

Producers are currently casting housemates for this summer's civilian edition, though these latest reports suggest that it could be the last ever series.

With rival show's like Love Island to compete with, Big Brother has seen a steady decline in ratings over the past few years.

Last summer's launch drew an average of 2.2 million viewers – 200,000 less than the previous year.

The news come as a disappointment to fans of the cult programme, though many agree that now is the right time to pull the plug.

She caused quite the stir on Celebrity Big Brother last year, and most of her life has been documented thoroughly since leaving the house.

But now, Stephanie Davis is being welcomed back to BB – as an agony aunt.

Yes, Big Brother returned to our screens last night with a new batch of housemates to cause mischief which will no doubt make headline news.

As well as Trisha Goddard and the infamous Sinitta, Stephanie will step up to be a relationship expert.

A source told The Daily Star: "This is just what Steph needs. She is so excited to be returning to TV after a rocky 12 months."

Well, this is going to be interesting.

It's almost that time of year again!

Nope, not summer, it's Big Brother season.

This year, the veteran reality TV show is taking a more political turn, selecting guests who will give an 'alternative' view of Britain.

'At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain,' a spokesperson told Digital Spy.

'Summer of contrasts, conflicts and collaborations and more fireworks than you could imagine, as a selection of people, from a range of backgrounds, come together in the ultimate social experiment.'

'The United Kingdom of Big Brother… and everyone is welcome.'

It sounds like it's going to be a pretty explosive series to say the least.

The new season starts on Channel 5 next month.

Convicted drug smuggler Michaella McCollum and her accomplice Melissa Reid, dubbed the Peru Two, are reportedly in talks to star on Big Brother.

The women gained infamy in 2013 when they were caught trying to illegally smuggle almost €2,000,000 worth of cocaine out of the country in their luggage.

“Michaella has made no secret of her dream to become a reality TV star," a source told The Sun

“She’s spent the last six months trying to build up her profile and her image – and just days ago she was even snapped on the beach in a very revealing swimming costume."

“It’s all part of her bid to get her name out there in the lead up to returning to our screens – this time on an entertainment show, not BBC News."

“Big Brother producers have been chatting to her about getting her on the next series of the show, which is a pairs theme."

With the duos theme, both Michaella and Melissa would have to agree to the show.

"They think the girls will help to stir up some excitement and chatter for the new series, as well as bring some glamour and drama.”

Apparently Michaella is more up for doing the show than Melissa, but we will just have to wait and see how this one pans out.

The pair previously appeared on Channel 4 documentary Brits Behind Bars: Cocaine Smugglers, so it wont be the first time the former smugglers are on camera.

Ray J has left the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The singer, who was one of the highest-paid contestants on the show, exited the house yesterday due to a toothache, and apparently, he's not allowed back in.

According to TMZ, Ray J was rushed to hospital with a sore tooth, and he is said to be "enraged" that the producers let his pain go on for so long.

However, social media is a tad confused, as Big Brother has often allowed contestants to leave and come back into the house due to medical emergencies.

While confused though, many fans of the show wrote on Twitter that they won't really miss his presence:

Bye Ray!

The next season of Celebrity Big Brother is just around the corner, and the latest instalment of the controversial show is set to be bigger and better than ever.

The new season is set to host a hoard of familiar faces, some of whom have been spotted entering a secret hotel ahead of the first instalment of the show tomorrow night.

Among the celebrities who were papped entering is controversial reality TV star Spencer Pratt, who previously entered the Big Brother house with wife of eight years Heidi in 2013.

Joining him at the hotel was ex X Factor contestant Stevi Ritchie, glamour model Nicola Mc Lean, who previously starred on CBB in 2012, and 90s DJ Brandon Block.

It has been strongly rumoured that the next series will be the special All-Stars vs. New Blood version of the show, introducing new contestants alongside CBB veterans.

Another contestant was also spotted, but their identity remains a mystery thanks to the blanket they covered themselves with.

Celebrity Big Brother also recently revealed this year's headache-inducing interior design, which this year takes on a pop-art theme.

Jedward made it big on the X Factor in 2009, but since then it's fair to say that they haven't been as in demand as they used to be.

It was reported earlier this year that their entertainment business made a massive loss, but then they regained a little bit of attraction with the release of their new single, Hologram.

But now the lads are going to get a little birra cash in their bank account as they're going to enter the Big Brother house again.

This will be the second CBB stint for the twins, as they were contestants on the show back in 2011.

An insider told the Daily Star: "Jedward caused chaos when they were in the house five years ago and viewers loved it.

"Producers were really keen to get them back, they know they are TV gold."

Back in her Valleys days, MTV star Lateysha Grace used to brag about looking like Beyoncé.

But it seems the young mum has since suffered a major blow to her confidence as last week she travelled to Turkey to undergo a complete physical transformation via cosmetic surgery.

In a new interview the Big Brother contestant told The Sun how she recently spent £4,000 on her third Brazilian butt lift, liposuction for her arms and upper back, a face contouring procedure and having her breast implants removed in a bid to feel better about her body.

But unfortunately Lateysha’s plans for enhancement don’t end there.

The 23-year-old admitted that despite bursting her dress while twerking on TV recently, she still wants to have her bum made even bigger than it currently is.

She said: “I love my new bum but I know that I want more…I’ve got plans to get it done again in a couple of months.”

The Welsh reality star confessed that body image insecurities – which she developed since achieving fame – have led to her constantly scrutinizing her physical appearance.

She said: “I don’t know what’s wrong with me… I’m constantly looking at myself in the mirror and thinking ‘oh, I want this bigger’ or ‘I want my waist smaller’ – I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with my body.”

“The reason I do it is because I'm insecure – point blank – before I did TV I never thought of having surgery but people always dig out the bad things about yourself on TV so it does play on your mind.”

She also revealed that while she would never encourage her one-year-old daughter to get surgery in the future, she would support her decision to do so if “she was getting down and depressed” like she herself was.

We hope Lateysha learns to love herself just as she is.

It's safe to say they were the talk of the town on Celebrity Big Brother.

Much like Jeremy McConnell and Stephanie Davis, the pair flaunted their relationship on-screen, but unlike Jez and Steph, they're not going to broadcast it now that they're out of the house.

According to a source close to the pair, Marnie and Lewis want to keep their relationship going and will keep the more intimate details private.

"They both have enough experience in the industry to know that the way to persuade people they are for real is by not shoving it in their faces.

"Of course they’ve been inundated with offers for mag shoots since leaving the house but despite some of the offers being very tempting, they have turned them all down so far.

"Instead they plan on keeping their romance mostly to themselves without OTT shoots and endless interviews."

Even though we weren't so sure about them in the house, it seems like they're making the right decision now.
