Ant and Dec

Fans' worries were soon put to rest when Holly Willoughby began her role as I’m a Celeb co-host this year.

She flawlessly stepped into Ant’s role adding a whole new dynamic to the duo’s usual riffing routine.

But sadly, the TV personality has announced that she won’t be returning to her recent role next year.

Speaking to the press at the Dancing on Ice launch, she said: “[I’m a Celeb] was a one-off, once-in-a-lifetime adventure.”

Ant has been recovering from his alcohol addiction in rehab and is rumoured to return to host the show next year.

When asked about joining him and Dec as a possible third host, Holly said: “‘I just don’t think it’s even an option. I’m not even thinking about that.

“I’ll be at home with everyone else having a glass of wine watching it as everyone else is. That’s what I was most jealous of – here I am standing here when you’re all drinking red wine in front of the fire.”

Maybe the jungle was a bit too wild for the favourite presenter…

While ITV has yet to confirm Ant’s return to his presenting role, he is believed to be returning to host Britain’s Got Talent 2019.

As for Holly, she will be back alongside Phillip Schofield for Dancing On Ice and This Morning in the New Year.

So, even though she has left I’m a Celeb, we will still be able to see the charismatic host on the big screen next year.

TV presenter Ant McPartlin and estranged wife Lisa are to divorce today – Tuesday, October 26th – according to reports this morning.

According to The Sun, a court hearing is scheduled at London's Central Family Court, where their divorce is to be finalised

After 11 years of marriage, the couple announced their split in January amid much public speculation. Ant publicly addressed the ending of their relationship in a statement, asking for privacy at what was a very difficult time for them both.

"In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after eleven years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families," a statement read.

Lisa, a makeup artist on Strictly Come Dancing, was praised by her former partner for her support as he entered rehab to attempt to combat his addiction issues, but sources said that this had put an undoubted strain on their relationship, with the TV presenter admitting this himself.

"I've put Lisa through hell with mood swings and depression and how it affects you. I'm very sorry about the effect it has on partners." He added: "This kind of stuff puts strains on any marriage. All I can say at the moment is that she's been amazing – fantastic throughout."

Another public charge of drink-driving – which saw Ant step away from his presenting duties to focus on recovery – also occurred earlier this year.

The couple met at a roadshow in Newcastle in the mid-1990s while Lisa was an aspiring pop star in Deuce.

McPartlin has often spoken of their struggle to have children, addressing this issue on an episode of Britain's Got Talent

OK so, we hate to be the barer of bad news, but it turns out we've all been singing the Friends theme song wrong for our entire lives, and we only have ourselves to blame.

The downright shocking revelation came during last night's Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway finale on ITV, leaving many viewers questioning whether or not their entire lives were just one big lie.

Broadcasting live from Universal Resort Florida, Declan Donnelly and his co-hosts Stephen Mulhern and Scarlett Moffatt welcomed a musical guests, The Remebrants, to preform their most iconic track, and theme to the hit 90s sitcom, I'll Be There For You

Now, we have to admit, after hearing the song a million times throughout our countless Friends binge-watching sessions, we thought we had the lyrics down to a tee.

Wrong.

Taking part in a live competition, one woman (and the entire nation) was left absolutely bewildered when she end up missing out on a prize for getting the words wrong.

It turns out the song lyrics don't actually say "when the rain begins to FALL," but rather, "when the rain begins to POUR" – mind blown.

The segment sparked a huge reaction online, with many viewers taking to Twitter to share their shock.

At least we're not the only ones.

It's that time of year again!

ITV have finally announced the starting date for this year's series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here – and it's closer than you might think.

Taking to Twitter earlier today, the television station revealed that this year's antics will kick off on Sunday, November 19.

“Forget Christmas, this is the ONLY date you need to remember this year,” the tweet read.

While the official line-up of contestants has yet to be released, Saturday's star Vanessa White, Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby and Love Island's Jonny Mitchell, are among those rumoured to be heading down under.

The starting date confirmation comes amid fears that a series of strong cyclones could wash out the camp.

There was also speculation as to whether or not  Ant and Dec would return to host the 2017 series after Ant confessed to being hooked to painkillers following a knee operation earlier this year.

However, presenter of I'm a Celeb…Extra Camp, and last year's Queen of The Jungle, Scarlett Moffatt, all but confirmed that the presenting duo would be back on our screens when she revealed how excited she was to work with the pair once again.

Speaking at the Pride of Britain awards, the Gogglebox star explained: "I'm so excited to be back with Ant and Dec. The intention is that Ant will be there. We've spoken, yeah. He's doing well."

Winter telly has well and truly arrived!

They may be the UK's most popular television hosts, but it seems like Ant & Dec are ready to try out something a bit different.

While they are not leaving the entertainment business any time soon, they have admitted that they are considering a leap from the TV to the stage.

Speaking to the Sun, Dec admitted that they are looking into other things now that their contract due to end with ITV next year.

"We haven't decided yet, me and Ant have talked but we haven't talked to ITV, we normally do it before we go off to the jungle for I'm A Celebrity.

"We will wait until Saturday Night Takeaway finishes and we will think about it. Our three big shows and the shows we love are on ITV.

"ITV is our home and we have been very lucky with them. But we are also evaluating and looking at other things."

And one of the things that the duo have been considering is in fact musical theatre.

"We loved doing Saturday Night Takeaway on tour so we are looking at the possibility of another tour or even theatre. We could do something with comedy in the West End, we are throwing around ideas.

"We are also looking to do a comedy next year. It is something we've been discussing for years."

They're a little bit famous for going all-out at the award shows, and this year was certainly no different.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby celebrated their NTA win last night in style, and after the awards show, continued the party with Ant and Dec.

But they rocked up to work this morning wearing the same fancy dress as the night before – except now their outfits were stained and yellow.

"Should we be honest?" Holly asked Phillip, and then continued to say, "I haven't been home yet. We came straight here."

They even placed Pie-Face with Ant, who put mustard in the game, instead of cream. Ouch.

Now, we don't know if they're still buzzing from the booze or if they're really hungover, but their antics from last night sure did look fun.

She's known as the UK's sweetheart, but things could have turned out very different for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

The pop star opened up to Ant and Dec in a one-off ITV documentary, When Ant and Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years of the Prince's Trust.

Cheryl is featured in the documentary and candidly reveals that she could have turned to drugs or a life of crime if it weren't for the dance academy she attended when she was young.

The X Factor judge said, "If I didn't have [my dancing], and I wasn't lucky enough to come to dance classes or had that discipline instilled in me, I could have gone anywhere.

"I could have been a drug addict, I could have been in prison. Any route could have happened had I not had have this opportunity."

The hitmaker became an ambassador for the Prince's Trust in 2011 and since then she has set up two sister charities that help support disadvantaged kids in her hometown.

It was a very festive wedding for Frank Lampard and his wife, Christine Bleakley and the wedding guests were very merry.

But one particular duo took the crown for getting a tad too drunk at the celebrations.

Ant and Dec rocked out of the Arts Club – where Frank and Christine held their wedding reception – and it's (very) fair to say they had a few stumbles coming from the decked out venue.

Ant looked a little worse for wear, trying to get from the door to his waiting car with bleary eyes and messy hair.

His wife followed after him, and we're sure she had to help him along the way.

Dec on the other hand looked like he was still up for the party as his wife led the way to the car.

The I'm A Celeb presenters both looked very smart at the beginning of the night, fitted out in three-piece tuxedos and paten dress shoes.

We don't know about you, but that was one party we're sad we missed! #GreatCraicAltogether

The 2015 series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here finished up tonight, with Vicky Pattison crowned the very deserving winner.

Vicky and George were the last two stars remaining after Ferne McCann was sent home by public vote midway through tonight's episode.

The three contestants had a tough start to the show, with Vicky forced to battle eels, pythons, yabbies and mub crabs in the semi-underwater Surf and Turf challenge.

As for Ferne, she was left to eat such delicacies as the tip of a bull's penis and a LIVE and very hairy water spider, to earn points for the camp.

Standard.

George, meanwhile, simply had to lie in a cage… albeit in the company of 45,000 cockroaches, 25,000 crickets, 5,000 mealworms, 20 witchetty grubs and five nests of green ants.

The trio were rewarded for their hard work before the first round of results, with a slap-up three course meal – which for once didn't contain any creepy crawlies.

Vicky went for lasagne and chips, Ferne dined on Chow Mein, while George went for lamb moussaka.

Geordie Shore lass Vicky has been the favourite to win for the last few days, with bookies giving her 5/2 odds of taking the crown.

Ferne's burgeoning flirtation with Union J star George was the talk of many viewers over the last couple of weeks – wonder if they'll have a cheeky smooch at the wrap party this evening?

Congrats to Vicky!

Another series, another batch of dramatic exits.

Lady Colin Campbell has become the latest I'm A Celebrity contestant to quit the TV show, with ITV confirming that she left the jungle just hours ago.

The cranky socialite made a name for herself over the last two weeks with her signature brand of insults, which range from calling Duncan Bannatyne 'an impertinent  old goat' to calling Yvette Fielding a 'tart.'

Eagle-eyed fans have already spotted the 66-year-old back at The Versace Hotel on Australia's Gold Coast, where the contestants stay after eviction.

As a result of Lady C's exit – which ITV say is due to "medical reasons" – the next elimination has been cancelled.

"During her time in the jungle, Lady C locked horns with many of her fellow campmates," the station said in a statement today.

"It's fair to say she'll be missed by Kieron in particular though, who she struck up a strong bond with."

Unsurprisingly, Twitter has gone into meltdown, with a mixed reaction from viewers and former contestants alike:

Lady C is now the second contestant to quit the show, after Spencer Matthews pulled out on Day 5, after revealing to producers that he was addicted to steroids.

"Shortly after I arrived in Australia I told the team I was taking a steroid-based medication," he said of his revelation, which he had kept a secret from his family.

Let's hope nobody else quits at this late stage… there are only a few days to go!

It must get fairly stressful to be broadcasting live from the Australian jungle every evening – especially when you're trying to keep a cast of hungry reality stars in check.

Usually, Ant and Dec, the long-time hosts of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! take all the mishaps and glitches in their stride.

But during one particularly tiresome moment earlier this week, Dec couldn't help sound off a bit.

The only problem? His mic was still on, meaning his words were broadcast live to millions of ITV viewers.

Ant and Dec were talking to contestant Vicki Pattison over the phone, but technical difficulties meant she couldn't hear what they were saying.

In the end a member of the production crew in the camp relayed the message to Vicki, telling her to head to the Bush Telegraph with Duncan Bannatyne and George Shelley.

Clearly annoyed at having to deal with the dodgy phone lines live on air, Dec could be heard saying, "Why didn't they just do that in the first place instead of you having to ring her?"

Listen to the awkward moment here from 0:45…

The technical difficulties didn't end there though, as Ferne McCann got cut off during another call just minutes later, while Vicky, George and Duncan struggled to hear Ant and Dec from the Bush Telegraph.

Here's a tip… don't rely on phones when broadcasting live from a rainforest.
