Alexa Chung has always been a style goddess.

And after sell-out collabs with Marks & Spencer and Mulberry, the fashion maven decided to create her very own clothing line.

After much anticipation, ALEXACHUNG Collection is here, and it's totally divine.

However, what's not divine is the price point with garments ranging from €85 to €1,315.

To be honest, we all knew the items wouldn't come cheap, and when you set your eyes on some of the gorgeous dresses and trench coats, we bet you'll be willing to pay a month's worth of rent for them.

From tiered floral dresses, to retro denims and chunky platforms, the line oozes Alexa's cool-girl exterior style.

She debuted the collection in London last night with a stunning catwalk show, and we have to say we're very impressed.

Alexa Chung made our fashion dreams come true today, with the announcement that she will be launching her very own clothing line.

The 32-year-old model and presenter will step into the role of creative director of Alexachung, which will be a contemporary-priced ready-to-wear line set to hit stores in May 2017.

Alexa, who is a modern style icon, is no stranger to the design process, having previously collaborated on collections with AG Jeans, Marks & Spencer and Madewell.

In an interview with The Business of Fashion, Alexa cited her number of fashion collaborations as the reason for going out on her own.

“I feel as though I’m kind of prepared to do it now. If it had been any time sooner than this, I either wouldn’t be responsible enough or have been able to take on this kind of feat,” she said.

Alexa is eager to do things her her own way, telling BOF “I just wanted the freedom to sort of make my own world, without someone else’s brand’s brief to stick to."

Alexa's collection will be sold at selected retailers such as Selfridges, Galeries Lafayette and matchesfashion.com, as well as a dedicated e-commerce platform.

Alexa Chung has fast become one of our most loved style icons.

And now get set to love her even more as she has just made online shopping dangerously easy.

Alexa has launched her own fashion app called Villoid.

The new inspiration-meets-shopping app channels the model's very unique style – it is clean-cut, simple and of course, very chic.

She described it as, "your very own endless dressing up box, where you can experiment, celebrate and play with clothes from hundreds of brands including Converse, Chloé, Acne and Marc Jacobs."

Users of the app can follow brands, mood boards or other people on the interface, with all items seen available to purchase.

The it-girl announced the launch today on Instagram.

"I am pleased and proud to announce that the secret app I have been working on for months is now available in the App Store today!!! Link in bio. It's called VILLOID (more on that later) and I would love you to play with it and let me know what you think. With love, Alexa Zuckerberg-Chung," she wrote.

Olivia Palermo turned heads during New York Fashion Week when she stepped out in a gorgeous tan suede skirt, which turned out to be a new season piece from high street favourite M&S.

Days later Alexa Chung was spotted wearing the same skirt, and style queens really began to take notice.

The mid-calf length skirt has since gained cult status and has been spotted on the pages of Vogue, Glamour and Red to name but a few.

Us mere mortals won't be able to get our hands on it until May 14th when it hits Irish stores, and with a hefty price tag of £199 (€278) it certainly won't be accessible to everyone. Fear not though, as we've rounded up some other high street suede options that will see you through SS15 without a hitch…

1. ASOS
This gorgeous button down skirt can be worn alone or as part of the co-ord set, but we'd team it with a crisp white shirt for a chic spring look.

Co-Ord Suede A-Line Skirt, €89.04, ASOS

2. H&M
This imitation suede skirt is a great casual option that will look gorgeous with bare legs and flat sandals once the sun (finally) comes back out.

Imitation Suede Skirt, €49.99, H&M

3. Warehouse
It's not all about tan and beige – team this grey skirt with jewel colours for a luxurious colour palette on those colder days.

Suede Pocket A-Line Skirt, €77, Warehouse

4. New Look
A simple mini with a beautiful cut, this A-line number puts us in mind of Twiggy and the swinging sixties…

Brown Suedette A-Line Skirt, €24.99, New Look

5. Oasis
This wrap skirt is a different take on the trend and we are LOVING that soft forest green shade.

We have some bad news, ladies – it looks as if True Blood hottie Alex Skarsgard is a taken man…and WAIT until you hear his new rumoured girlfriend!

The actor has been spotted not once, but twice this week hanging out with British IT girl sweetheart, Alexa Chung!

We did not see that one coming. Can you imagine the beautiful babies those two would make?!

The pair were seen hanging out on Monday night where a source for People magazine say things looked ‘cosy’: “They were deep in conversation.”

Then, Alexa and Alexander (we love the sound of that!) were spotted together enjoying a coffee in the city.

Hmm, we can’t wait to see where this goes!

Summer’s definitely coming to a close and though we might be praying for some last-minute sunshine, it’s time to embrace autumn and the great style opportunities that come with it.

The autumn/winter catwalks this year were all about more relaxed, wearable looks. Here’s some of our favourite trends for this season…

1. Mad for plaid
Tartans have come in and out of fashion time and time again, but they were all over the catwalks for this season, most notably at Tommy Hilfiger with full-on plaid dresses in heavy wool fabrics. Chloë Moretz wore this trend a little differently, rocking a Simone Rocha top with cut-out sleeves as she headed to the Jimmy Kimmell studios earlier this month:

2. Floating on air
Floaty fairytale styles are big this season – they took centre stage at Dolce & Gabanna, Alexander McQueen and Valentino, who all showcased floor length gowns in light-as-air fabrics. Go for a skirt or dress with a higher hemline for a more user-friendly take on this trend, à la Clemence Poésy. The actress wore this Chloé dress beautifully at a recent launch for the label’s new perfume:

3. High-octane metallics
Glittering metallics are a great way to work an autumn trend into your Saturday night outfit. Marc by Marc Jacobs was all over this look, and Alexa Chung showed off one of the label’s key pieces at New York Fashion Week earlier this year:

4. Whiter than white
Forget ivory or cream, stark bleached whites are where it’s at this season – if you can manage to avoid spilling red wine all over them, that is. Helmut Lang models walked the catwalk in all-white tailored trousers, fur coats and flowing sweaters. Taylor Swift had a slightly more glamourous take on the trend though, in this black and white Jonathan Simkhai dress for her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers:

5. Eye-catching embellishments
This is one trend that you can be as safe or as far-out as you like with. Wear all-over sequins or just go for some subtle panels of beading on shoulders or sleeves. Gucci models paraded down the catwalk in embellished shift dresses this season, and Keira Knightley looked every bit the glittering goddess in this Delpozo dress at an appearance in London recently:

6. Take the plunge
Low cut necklines might not be for everyone, but they are a sure way to inject some old-school glamour into your look. Donna Karan went all out with plunging necklines this season, combined with some very high hemlines, while Diane Von Furstenburg’s looks were a little more demure. Suki Waterhouse looked stunning in this Burberry Prorsum dress at Serpentine Gallery’s summer party:

What is it with Alexa Chung and Indie rocker types?!

She definitely has a thing for skinny jeans and floppy fringes that’s for sure!

Just weeks after being linked to her ex-boyfriend and Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, Alexa is said to be dating singer Matt Hitt of the rock band Drowners

While the pair have been friends since they first met in 2011, things have gotten way more serious between them, and 30-year-old Alexa is apparently completely smitten with Matt, 26.

We guess Gwyneth Paltrow can breathe a sigh of relief now, as this well and truly puts romance rumours between Alexa and Chris Martin to bed….we hope!

Alexa Chung became the latest celeb to join the “Free the Nipple” campaign when she posted this photo of herself on her Instagram account.

The IT girl uploaded a beautiful image of herself wearing a sheer bra and high-waisted jeans with the caption: “Free the nipple.”

Alexa isn’t the only one campaigning against Instagram’s nudity rules though, Scout Willis took to the streets of New York recently, completely topless, to demonstrate against the social media sites rules.

Alexa Chung’s impact on the fashion world seems to be only getting bigger as it’s been revealed that she will now be designing her own set of jeans.

Chung has signed up with American denim label Adriano Goldschmied, to design a collection of 20 denim pieces.

Alexa spoke recently about the denim label and what she felt was missing from the collection.

“The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic.”

The new denim line will include T-shirts, dresses as well as jeans.

And if designing the collection wasn’t enough, Alex will also be the face of the new denim range too.
