Paint is going nowhere! Microsoft have done one major U-turn

by

In response to backlash over their decision to get rid of the much-loved Paint app, Microsoft have done a full 180, and decided that the iconic app will remain.

Following an announcement that the corporation intended to remove the app from future versions of Windows, the public responded in their droves.

And it looks like Microsoft listened.

"Today, we’ve seen an incredible outpouring of support and nostalgia around MS Paint," it wrote in a blog post.

"If there’s anything we learned, it’s that after 32 years, MS Paint has a lot of fans. It’s been amazing to see so much love for our trusty old app."

So, what happens now?

Well, it seems the app, which has been around for a staggering 32 years, will be replaced by a new app called Paint 3D, but the original will be made available in the app store.

And yes, you will be able to download it for free, while also availing of the new app's new features.

"In addition to the new 3D capabilities, many of the MS Paint features people know and love like photo editing, line and curve tools, and 2D creation are in Paint 3D," Microsoft said

So, it looks like the people have spoken, ladies!
