One man has a round-the-world ticket to give away – with a catch

Breakups are never easy and they can be even harder when you have made plans together – expensive plans – that one of you wants to keep.

When Jordan Axani booked a round-the-world trip for himself and his girlfriend, he obviously didn’t expect them to split in the meantime.

Unfortunately, Jordan still wants to go on the trip, sure who wouldn’t, but he has a problem – he can’t change the name on the other ticket. So either he is going on his own or someone with the same name as his ex is willing to go with him.  

Obviously the 27-year-old is hoping for the latter and is now looking for an Elizabeth Gallagher who is willing to be his travelling buddy. It’s not just the name she needs to have though – she also must have a Canadian passport.

He does have a few stipulations, saying his companion must “be sane, smart and (hopefully) interesting.”

Before you start to think that there is something a little more sinister going on, he says: “We can travel together and see some cool stuff – or not. I'm easy and have no problem with someone taking the tickets and doing their own thing (see ya on the plane!). Embracing the spontaneity of life is more my thing, though, so if you want to travel together (and are not an axe murder) I'm likely game.

Aw how sweet, we are totally wishing we were called Elizabeth Gallagher right now… oh, and that we had a Canadian passport….
