This simple dinner will take minutes to put together and it tastes so good.
Get ready to become a falafel fanatic!
Falafel is a traditional Middle Eastern food and are served in pita or flatbread.
For this version, we have served the falafel in a salad, but it is equally delicious in a pita if you prefer!
What you’ll need:
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 small onion
- 1 red chilli
- Handful of coriander
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp cumin
- Hummus (optional)
What you’ll need to do:
- Combine all of the ingredients into a food processor or use a hand blender to mix but don’t overdo it.
- Heat up a frying pan with 1-2 tbsp of oil and shape the mixture into small balls or even burger shape if you like.
- Fry either side until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve on a bed of salad with some olives and hummus.
