Habits that could be messing with your body clock

Feeling out of sorts lately? Here are  some of the main reasons  why your body clock might not be ticking as well as it should.

Sweet addiction
We all have a sweet tooth, but overdoing it on the snacks can not only lead to weight gain but to sugar highs and lows.

Lack of sleep
If you don’t sleep for a minimum of six hours, it can not only put you in a bad mood, but can also have an effect on your ability to focus properly too.

We all get stressed from time to time but we need to be careful when it comes to managing our own stress levels. Too much stress can not only lead to bouts of insomnia but also other unhealthy habits.

Crash diets
We’ve all experimented with the latest trendy diet; you may lose a few ponds but if you’re cutting out too many essential nutrients your body will be only exhausted as a result.

Caffeine overdose
Even though it doesn’t feel like it, caffeine can stay in our system long after we’ve had  our daily cappuccino. If you want to ensure a good night’s sleep make sure not to have any caffeine substances during the four hours before you go to bed and yes, that includes tea.
