Fifi Geldof shares touching tribute on anniversary of Peaches’ death

It has been exactly one year since Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches was tragically found dead at her home in Kent, England.

The 25-year-old's body was discovered by her husband Tom Cohen, with whom she had two young children, 3-year-old Astala and 2-year-old Phaedra.

This morning Peaches' older sister Fifi shared a bittersweet tribute to her late sister on the anniversary of her death, posting a throwback picture of herself and Peaches as children:

Fifi captioned the sweet picture, "A year ago today and I miss you with all my being."

An inquest into Peaches death last July showed that she had died from a heroin overdose. Peaches had reportedly been clean for three years and had been using methadone, but she began using heroin again in secret in early 2014.

A police search of the home she shared with her husband Tom revealed a significant quantity of the drug plus almost 80 syringes.

It's thought Peaches kept her relapse hidden from Tom and her family, and that she had hoped to overcome her struggle again.

"There is no indication that Peaches intended to take her own life or harm herself in any way as she was reported to be of happy disposition and planning for the future with friends and family," the inquest said at the time.
