Ellie Goulding to feature on Divergent soundtrack

Ellie announced the news on her Instagram account last night, much to the delight of her own fans as well as fans of the Divergent book series.

What’s more, it seems it won’t just be one song Ellie contributes; her voice will actually be present throughout the film.

Writing on Instagram, she said: “Excited for you to hear the new song “Beating Heart” and my wee voice throughout the film :)”.

Ellie isn’t the only big UK star to lend their singing voices to Hollywood movies; Ed Sheeran also recently penned “I See Fire” for the The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Divergent is due out this year and will star rising star Shailene Woodley as well as Kate Winslet and Theo James.
