Disney’s Mulan is coming…but who will play Mulan?

In case you didn’t hear the exciting news announced yesterday, Disney’s Mulan is being made in a live-action format very soon.

However, at hearing the news something of a debate surrounding who should play the lead role of the gutsy Mulan has broken out.

While MANY people are petitioning for the part to go to the actress who voiced Mulan in the animated original back in 2008, Ming-Na Wen; other names such as Arden Cho, Jamie Chung, Fan Bing Bing and even Glee’s Jenna Ushkowitz have been thrown into the mix.

Twitter is alight with suggestions for the casting, not long after Disney fans were left delighted with the casting of Emma Watson as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
